Would have left 1 star, but leaving 2 because "IF" Talin actually shows up the groom work she does is good. I can't however recommend her due to courteousness in regards to keeping appointments and communicating. I tried. Twice. The first time appointment, I was emailed the day of the actual appointment, 15 mins after the time range she had planned to show up asking to reschedule due to being backed up and not realizing. No problem, things happen. I was upset since I had cleared my morning for the appointment, but I wanted to give her a chance. 2nd appointment, I wanted to book well in advance so I reached out. Finally got something booked. Day comes and Talin didn't show up at the hour time frame given. Hours go by. Not even a message, phone call, or email. Finally, at 8pm I message her asking for some kind of response and a few minutes later was just told that she was sorry and wants to reschedule and again, didn't realize she had so many appointments. Same excuse as the first... and very un-business like to not even reach out without having me reach back first. I should have read some of the 1 star reviews, as it seems this is a common problem... noting that 2 or so others had the same exact issue of "no shows". Better off finding someone that can actually communicate, keep appointments and not make excuses. read more

I cannot begin to thank Talin enough for the incredible grooming she did on our year old Beagle, Ollie. First, I sincerely appreciate Talin's prompt response to my Yelp message. Within minutes of pressing send, Talin responded with a thoughtful message and fair quote. She was very flexible with scheduling and was able to groom Ollie only two days later. Ollie was absolutely terrified as he had never been groomed before but Talin was able to calm him down and have him wagging his tail the entire time he was with her. He came out of the grooming station looking like a brand new dog - clean, eye gunk removed, nails short, ears wiped, smelling wonderfully, and with a fancy-shmancy bandana. Talin was fantastic! My dog is such a freak at the groomer's. Several groomers have given up on him halfway through the grooming. So I've been cutting his hair myself for the past few years. I've been very busy lately and my dog desperately needed a grooming, so I called Talin and let her know that my dog is difficult at the groomer's. She said it wouldn't be a problem. She showed up on time and was done within an hour or so. She said my dog was much better behaved than she thought he would be. I think it was because she had the van door open, and he could see my house from where he was. And he didn't have to be kept in a cage with other dogs all around him. I couldn't believe the terrific cut she gave him. Usually, if a groomer makes it through the entire grooming with my dog, I have to cut the hair on his face afterward, because he has to wear a muzzle (he's snappy) during the grooming. But Talin was able to groom the hair on his face too! And she also gave him a cute little Halloween bandanna and a bag of treats. I definitely will be using her services again. Talin was great with my two dogs. I highly recommend her. I have a big yellow lab and then a little rat terrier spaniel mix. My lab is easy going. It's been over a week and he still smells great which is awesome for a lab who loves to get into everything. My spaniel mix is very skiddish and has trust issues. She was great with him and said he did fantastic with the grooming. Amazing how healthy and clean their fur looks. Both dogs didn't want to leave her van. She spoils them. read more

I went on trip for a week and had my buddy, Ignacio, watch my dog while I was away. A 2 year old, long haired, German Shepard. He just needed to feed him, give him water, and bathe him. Tauline and Alice just left. They did a beautiful job on my two black labs! My dogs had the thickest, worst undercoats ever, so bad that I couldn't get rid of it - it just kept COMING AND COMING. What's worse, one of my labs had super thick, almost matted fur, so my comb wouldn't even penetrate his coat all the way. Now: they're not even shedding. At all. OMG. Also, my dogs are freaks. The mom dog is super high-strung and whines and barks and spins at just the *smell* of her leash. Mama's boy dog is the opposite, terrified of the leash and the car and the world beyond our fence. I didn't realize until this morning that not having to load them into the car and wrangle them into a dog grooming shop, then do it again to bring them home, was worth almost as much as the bath itself. Which brings me to pricing. Dog grooming, no matter how you slice it, is freaking expensive. I wish I could remember that every time I bring in a stray. It's a hefty chunk of change to have your dogs groomed, and it really keeps me from bathing them as much as I should, because dammit! But I'm changing my mind. You know why it's expensive? It's HARD. It can be really hard work. You should have seen these girls (Tauline and Alice) going at it! They genuinely worked their butts off, and earned every penny. AND I didn't have to transport the beasts. So cough it up, you guys. Get your dogs bathed and have Doggie Spa on Wheels do it for you. Put aside a few bucks a week to save up for it if you have to, but do it. It's the right thing to do, and it's WORTH it. read more

Unfortunately, after exchanging many emails, including photos of all my dogs, and confirming my appointment time, she never showed up. I contacted her and she called back saying that I had cancelled the appointment by text, which in fact, I had not. She then said that it must have been another new client that cancelled and she's very sorry but cannot groom the dogs today but can come 2 days later. I declined. I spent the afternoon waiting for them to show up and needed the service before the weekend (today is Friday) so I'd rather give my business to a company that will honor their scheduled appointment time. I had been going to a groomer for 9 years for my very scared and skittish black lab/cocker mix. They changed owners and his last 2 visits were traumatizing. They tried to charge me more and told me my dog broke their table and threw up through the whole session. Never happened with previous owner. So decided to try mobile groomer for my now 12 year old boy. Talin was amazing. I warned her he was skittish but is not aggressive. She was really kind to him and patient. It took about an hour, no loud noises like in a shop, and her van was sparkling clean and smelled great! He wasn't stressed out and came out of there sparkling clean and handsome! My Wheaten requires frequent bathing and is excitable and Doggie Spa is always accommodating to my schedule and my dog goes into the van without any hesitation.
