Although she likely comes from a good place, it is unnecessary to put owners through guilt. I shared this story with my mother which made her feel worse. Also, now cash pay. I also love that they do cute activities like pool time and post Instagram stories throughout the day so I can see what's happening. Every time I dropped her off somewhere new, I had this uneasy feeling. Bella would come back stressed and not like herself, and after a few bad experiences (including her getting injured), I just couldn't keep putting her through that. So I went back to Lucky's Dog grooming, her original groomer and I'm so glad I did. The owner genuinely cares about the dogs, and you can feel it. Bella is calm, happy, and treated with so much patience every time. I've seen some comments about small cuts, and while of course no one wants that, sometimes it can happen depending on the dog's skin. They cut his hair shorter than asked, cut off his brows (which I specifically told them NOT to do twice before they told him back), and gave him the most choppy, uneven hair cut. He's never had a haircut this horrible. I could have done a better job if I threw the scissors at my dog blindfolded. Def DO NOT recommend.

I've been taking my dog for the last 4 years. They have made mistakes along the way. Linda the…read moregroomer has always done a great job on Lucy. I trusted her to do a great job. I've also had other groomers take care of Lucy too. However, they didn't do such a good job as Linda. The hair cut was uneven and her hair wasn't completely dry. Until one day, I questioned where was Lucy matted because shaved her using #2 clipper. Her hair was completely gone. I wanted to cry, on how she looked. After asking where was she matted, Linda's response was, if you don't believe me, you are welcome to take Lucy to another groomer. I apologize to her and said, I'm not questioning your work, I was just confused because I combed Lucy out the night before. I was shocked on her response after I sold a box of candies for her daughter. After a month I brought Lucy to get groomed, Linda was out on medical leave and Lucy was taken care of by another groomer. That is where Lucy was not completely dry. I appreciate the service but not to happy. Now it was tying for Lucy to get a hair cut and groom and I called to set up an appointment for Lucy and found out that Linda did not want to groom Lucy anymore. The owner apologized and said the groomer had the right to decide which dog she would take care of. They couldn't give me a reason why she decided not to groom Lucy anymore. After 4 years, as prices increased each year and then monthly, I was still willing to take Lucy there but I have to say the service by Linda was disappointing to hear that she refused to groom Lucy moving forward. Not sure what happened but it would have been nice to know why. I'm assuming she took my questioning to a personal issue. With all this said, she can do a great job but also can refuse you at anytime without a reason. I am happy to say I found another groomer who did a great job and with care. I pay a little more than what Linda charged me but I would have continue to take Lucy to Linda even if she increases her price. However I rated the place as a 3 star based off the overall rating of cleanness, timely, friendliness and honesty.

He's always excited to go back, and so happy and calm when we pick him up that I can really tell he's comfortable and enjoying his time at Puppy Island. He comes back well-behaved and socialized, not freaked out from us being gone, which makes leaving for trips feel much easier! And, I think the value for the services they provide is excellent. I usually board Chico in standard boarding and really love getting a few photos of him daily -- he's always smiling from ear to ear in them and surrounded by cute doggie friends. Chico had a cherry eye flare up when he was boarded earlier this year, and they handled the situation beautifully -- they gave me options, took him to the emergency vet for a checkup, and isolated him in VIP boarding until we were sure he was okay! It was such a relief to know he was in good hands and I will forever be grateful to the staff for going the extra mile to ensure his safety and comfort throughout. I trust them completely and so appreciate that they actually know and love him, so it feels like he's at summer camp with his favorite people every time! I love Puppy Island (and so does my dog!)!

You'll find goodies to purchase for your pets and for the parents, too I like the ambience and the music they play. Today we had Ray as our groomer. He was awesome. He was very attentive with our fur baby's coat. He's a Shorkie so he has the width of a Shih Tzu and the colors, length and height of Yorkshire Terrier. He looks like a little Ewok. Ray made sure he asked about any concerns we had about styling Bozley's coat. We wanted to only trim his natural Mohawk but close for the rest of his body because it's a hot summer. He did such an excellent job with Bozley's coat and our little Bozley was so happy! We can tell he feels much lighter and cooler. We know that Bozley loves visiting the Hollywood Pet Center because he knows he's going to feel like a million bucks! Ray is really nice, always had a huge smile and was really good with Bozley.
