Far end of dog park for large dogs.
    Alisya M.

I think the park overall is spacious, even for the small dog side. I tend to walk around the field no matter where I go just in case other dogs become reactive but we had a pleasant experience. There's a small obstacle course for the pups and plenty of water troughs, but I'm not sure how to fill them with fresh water. The issue with those is that dogs tend to lay in there, and the water becomes undrinkable -- which they're dogs it's whatever but I wish there were bowls or fountains instead. You should be aware to bring water along with you since although there at least four of these types of troughs as I'm calling them, they don't appear clean or easy to refill. (Maybe next time someone can show me). Other than that it's spacious enough and I haven't been on a weekday morning yet but the weekends there are definitely dogs for your dog to play with. PS: If you've never been, Park Ln is actually closed off. So your GPS will advise you to still attempt that way but lookout for the detour signs and you'll have to enter the street and over the small bridge where it says "Do Not Enter" because technically it's a one way access. Took me awhile to figure it out but I'm also not the best at directions.

Still no response on the dog haven't been back since the attack and never will go back to that dog park. Very disappointing.

Decent place to take your dog too. There's separate areas for big dogs, small dogs and a middle area between both if you can't choose between the two. Warning: there are mosquitos so I highly highly recommend bringing bug spray and sprayi ng throughout your stay here. There is ample parking but lines are difficult to tell sometimes cuz of the dirt on the pavement. Please park in between the lines :) Overall nice park to take your dogs of any size to, although if your dog is super small I would highly consider staying inside the small dog enclosure to not overwhelm them.

We had a great time at the dog park. It was the first time that our dog really wanted to play with the other dogs. It was quite busy, people not wearing masks, but we wore ours and kept distance. There is a shaded area to sit and plenty of play room for the dogs.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG STAY AWAY We used to love this park, we've stopped going. The last two visits I've encountered aggressive dogs. No action is taken to keep them away. Today, my well trained ESA dog and I sat at a picnic table when a slightly smaller dog attacked him. In an effort to protect my 60lb Goldendoodle I commanded a stay, threw myself onto him and my boyfriend pulled the aggressive black shepherd mix away. I suffered extreme bites on my right hand. All the girl owner had to say was "Sorry". As I bled and held back tears I asked that for the safety of the other dogs, she leave. The other owners remained completely silent... She took her dog into another section of the park where I'm sure the incident repeated itself. I walked away with my dog who thankfully was unharmed.

I took my boston terrier here today to finally check out the dog park here in Round Rock! It's not specifically marked, but it's located in the Lake Creek Park right by the beach volleyball courts. There are 2 pens, one for dogs 40lbs and under and one for dogs 40lb and over. For some reason, the smaller dog pen was locked so I took Coco to the the big dog pen. We were the only ones there! But it was fine, Coco had fun smelling and exploring. There is ample space to run around and a small agility course. They also have a terrace area with rocking chairs for people to relax. Overall, a nice dog park with nice amenities, but my only qualm with it is that it's got some areas that dont have mulch or grass (like around the water trough) so the dogs can get muddy. Otherwise, a great place to take your pooch--with or without othe dogs arond!

Came 6AM on a Saturday-- only 1 other person here. Huge, quiet, and a very clean park.

Please do not bring your little children and babies to the dog park. A lot can happen in a very short time.

Pretty disappointing. Too many dogs and no one paying attention. No water fountains for people and barely any shade in the small dog area

But it was pretty hot out, and once the sun went down the party really started- there was upwards of 10 dogs when we left! The property is located out in Leander and is pretty rustic- the park is all dirt with lots of seating scattered throughout for humans (a fun vibe with mismatched chairs and tables of all styles and heights) and cute playground furniture for the doggos to run and jump on. There is plenty of tree shade as well, and water bowls set out for the pups. You check in at the bar and then can order drinks directly from a window in the dog park so you don't have to leave the fenced in park, which is nice. This dog park is super casual- no food served here, or cocktails. Just a nice straightforward (and reasonably priced) beer and wine menu. But really, what else do you need? Just some dogs, music (they had music playing) and a cold beer that comes with a cute coozie. The staff was so nice and really good with the dogs- they were there managing all the interactions and ensuring that nothing got tense. I really appreciated that. They do have doggie ice cream that you can purchase and have your dog eat outside of the park (no food allowed inside, makes a ton of sense). This place may not have jumbo screens and margaritas like some other dog parks- but that's fine by me for the relaxed and friendly vibe, reasonable prices, and staff that ensures all the dogs are safe and having fun! We can't wait to come back again- especially for one of their cool events! (pet psychics!)

Garey Park is an absolute gem!…read more We celebrated my son's birthday at Garey Park a couple of months ago, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we booked to the minute we packed up, everything was smooth, easy, and honestly kind of perfect. The park is stunning and has so much to do. So much space, beautiful scenery, and tons of options for kids to run wild . My son had the best time celebrating with his friends. Between the playground, splash pad, and shaded picnic areas, the kids were entertained the entire time. No one was bored, not even for a second. There's something really special about this place. It feels like you're in the middle of nature but with all the modern conveniences nearby. It made the whole party feel relaxed and joyful.

Those fees help maintain this BEAUTIFUL park, which offers tons of activities for families with kids and dogs. The bathrooms were quite clean and stocked with toilet paper. The playground was filled with kids having a great time. We enjoyed walking the trails along the San Gabriel River, and our dogs had a blast! They even have horseback riding and zip lines, along with numerous trails to explore! We've visited free dog parks throughout Austin, Leander, and Cedar Park, and they often end up neglected and trashy! I completely understand why they want to keep this place clean and welcoming!
