Slightly disappointed with this place, as it looks like no other pizza joint in the area. - Husband ordered the Hot rod wings (garlic, Parmesan, ranch and Buffalo sauce). Great flavor but the wings were dry. - I had the OG burger, which was simple but I expected to be good. The bacon on the burger was not well cooked at all. Every inch of both pieces of bacon were floppy and not well cooked, and personally, on a burger I prefer bacon that has some sort of crisp to it. - The mozzarella sticks were a nice starter! We ordered with ranch and marinara, both very good in flavor. - Lastly we had the rodeo fries to split, they were very good! I believed the reviews about the pizza and came to the conclusion that people do not know what they are talking about. The pizza was ok. They put grated cheese on it which I didn't know they did. My friend asked for a shaker of cheese but it was a dollar extra. Never been to a pizza place that charges extra for cheese. They cut a round pizza into squares. Who does that?! The traditional fried stuff is all tasty now. Do yourself a favor and get the ricotta balls! We also ordered bacon honey wings, super crispy, just the right balance of sweet and savory! And the Pickle Rick pizza is so fun!! It's light and fresh and a pickle lovers dream! Drizzle with a little bit of the house made ghost pepper ranch if you like some extra heat! Sadly, there seem to have been some changes with the new owners. We went shortly after the new owners took over and it was still amazing, as it had been before. We've been twice more and boy, a whole different story. Tonight's experience was better than the last one, but still not like it used to be. The crust is clearly different and much thinner than it used to be. Our pizza had adequate pepperoni but only a smattering of mushrooms (for $4) and they were piled up in a few spots, so that certain pieces had a lot but others had none. The sauce was very scant as well, rendering the overall pizza dry. We ordered an 18" and it was just slightly over 15" (yes we measured it). For $33 I expect the size I ordered, adequate sauce and plenty of toppings applied somewhat evenly. We used to really love Doghouse but whatever changes the new owners have made have dropped it a few notches for us. Honestly seems like cost savings efforts, and perhaps a lack of training as to how to assemble a pizza. Please go back to how it was before! read more

Me and the fam were wanting pizza to bring back to the house when I remembered this pizza that I had years ago which was a BLT pizza. I really wanted it after remembering how good it was and so I called them and asked if I could get a BLT pizza and they actually said yes! We drove there and it was a pretty short trip for us, and as soon as we walked in we were surprised at how big, clean, and nice it was in there. We took home the pizza and it was so good. That pizza was so bomb, the crust is seasoned, it's cooked perfectly, and although it may be $30 for a large, it is worth it!!! We will be going back every single time we want pizza now. read more

My second time coming here, but first time dining. Came at around noon, the owner/manager was super friendly, and instructed us on their menu; we peaked the smoked bbq specials of the day and the everyday menu. I was going to order from the specials, but I came with my mother and she insisted we get gravy fries. Since we knew it was a good amount we also split an order of the philly, as well. As I was l choosing my drink I noticed they added some personal touches to their drink fountain names and they also have Koolaid on TAP! (Or just a dispenser LOL). The same guy from earlier asked if we grabbed forks (we didn't), grabbed some for us, and brought us our fries; they looked and smelled better than I anticipated! These fries were perfectly cooked, seasoned, and have a great ratio of toppings. We ate threw this so fast that by the time we got our sub (which wasn't long after), we were almost full! I was able to take a few bites of the Philly and let me tell you they don't forget to season the meat regardless of the toppings. I find that a lot of people think the toppings will mask the flavor of the meat. I will say, this place has a great atmosphere and great food. The only downfall is how far it is from me! read more

My personal fave is a pizza called The Rocket Ship - I order it with ghost pepper ranch and sweet Thai chili sauce on the side per a recommendation from the owner one night & now I'm hooked! Their Loaded fry choices are SO big and packed with toppings - it's enough for 2 people to split as a meal and I love it! They have their own blend of sodas and kool-aids/teas on tap as well. The 2 women who expedite the food and take the orders/answer the phones are some of the nicest and realist servers that I have come across. Just wanted to drop a quick review for Doghouse pizza. I have to say that the food was some of the best food that we have had all year. We ordered the Roy roger sandwich and wow, you have to make sure you get this when you stop by. The flavors of the bun, chicken tenders and honey were perfection!! We also had a pepperoni pizza and the crust was nice and crispy. The flavors were outstanding on this also with a hint of spice. We also got buffalo fries with the ghost pepper dressing, This was just amazing, really no words for how good it was!! The owner was on site and was the one that took my order, he was super friendly and helped me navigate the menu. He was the one that recommended the buffalo fries and wow I so glad he did. Also just a tip his current menu items are posted on his facebook page which he adds new Items to a lot. So check him out there if you are doing a phone order. read more

This place is a little out of the way for me but it is so worth it. The texture of the pizza crust has a nice crunch, without being overly thin, and holds up well to the layers of creative toppings. We are lucky enough to live close to this gem. We are foodies & this is by far our fave pizza in Melbourne. It's tucked in the north end of John Rodes Blvd, near Eau Gallie. This is not your ordinary pizza & it never disappoints. It's unique, imaginative & worth the price! Last night we had a Smokehouse & Rocket Ship. We loved them both. The Rocket Ship had a little spicy bite. I should have taken a picture, but we inhaled them both. The crust is crunchy & very tasty. I highly recommend! read more

The owner really seems to love cooking and pours his heart into his craft and establisment, seems to show a genuine sense of hospitality that is unfortunately in short supply here, southern hospitality from a midwestern guy. And the food is really good too The sandwich portion sizes for meat are way more than you get at Jersey Mike's or any place in brevard period.
