AC issue and customer complaints. As the owner of dogonegood, we did have a air conditioner problem we did have ground zero come out the minute it happened. We had portable AC units in the back where the dogs were, yes it was hot in the office but in the back where the dogs were we had potable AC units to protect the dogs. All the dogs had water in the cages. Every customer was told when they came in that the AC was down and they had option to reschedule or leave there dogs, we did get the dogs out as soon as possible. We do apologies to everyone about this and it will never happen again. I understand that there is no excuse that can be made up for this but I would like to say that I just lost my husband to lung cancer, I am trying to recover from this and be able to still support myself. My dogs are not even done yet, I just dropped them off, I had a horrible experience with an old place that use to have good service, and after having taken them I googled the closest place, I spoke to a lovely lady named Shelly and she was sooooooo exceptional she took my dogs in on a same day situation just because of the terrible service we received elsewhere! I love that she was truly concerned and has 35yrs exp and education with rescue animals!! She truly made my day and even if I pick up my dogs and they are absolutely happy I will still comeback due to their customer service and professionalism! I know nothing is perfect and some people have bad days but kids now days need to learn respect and courtesy!! This place definitely has it!!! I had issues with my former groomer. I told them I would never be returning. So I got on my phone and found Doggone Pet Grooming... close to my house. Bill was able to get me in the very next day. I have a all black Shih Tzu that was overdue for her grooming. Bill & Shelly did a wonderful job on the maintenance of my sweet Zoey. She was pampered wonderfully. When she came home she was calm and laid in my lap for a nap. I am extremely pleased with the grooming, the service, and the respect they had for Zoey. They treated her like she was their own dog. I've worked in groom shops before myself and I've never seen a groomer that does such amazing work who also is very patient and is so loving with the animals she works at. Of all the groomers I have known, she is the only one I trust to take my cat to and the only one I feel comfortable recommending to others. I took my cat in who had gotten some very bad knots in her fur and I thought for sure she would have to be shaved but Shelley was able to brush them out not only successfully but carefully enough that my cat was in little to no discomfort. Today was our first trip to the groomer since we moved from California! It was such a relief to find someone who loves dogs and treated my babies as good as I would! I was especially worried about my Pippa (chihuahua terrier) who can be stubborn, but she came out with a glowing review! "Aunt Shelley" did a wonderful job with both of my girls! I love Dogonegood Grooming! The groomer is super friendly, and gentle with animals. I have so far taken two of my three dogs there, each time they come back happy with tails wagging! The office is always clean, making same day appointments has been easy, and both dogs looked great and exactly how I wanted! I took my chihuahua in for a nail trim and was truly amazed how well Shelly trimmed her nails and how quick she was. She did an excellent job at no charge "WOW" so I tipped her $15. The veterinarian office doesn't even trim Siri's nails that well. It was my first time there and it will be my permanent place I will take my dogs for grooming & nail trim. I started going here for the location and stayed for the pricing and service. Its not a fancy place but they do a great job. The staff is really nice and they really seem to love the puppies that come visit them. I like the little touches they do like a little handkerchief to dress her up and things like that. GREAT! I have one very easy to groom dog and one very skiddish dog. They do amazing with both of them. I take them regularly to get their nails trimmed and am blown away that they offer this service at no charge as they understand it is so important for dogs to keep their nails trimmed back.
