I've now had two GREAT experiences with Desiree from Sunny Days! She's done an absolutely incredible job with my recently rescued LhasaPoo, Kenny Wayne. When animal control finally got him off the streets earlier this year, it was hard to tell that there was even a dog hidden inside all that fur! I can only imagine how stressful the initial necessary shelter grooming session must have been for my poor little guy! Knowing all this when I adopted him, I was very committed to finding him the very best groomer for his new life going forward. Desiree was right on time as expected, communication was impeccable, charges were fair and very competitive, payment was easy afterward, Desiree is super sweet, and Kenny Wayne looked like the rockstar that he is!!! Afterward I quickly got him on her schedule for groom #2 which took place yesterday and it went even better which I honestly didn't think was possible. I own 2 rescues, a Cairn Terrier mix and a Maltese mix. The groomer I had used for years moved from around the corner to quite far away, so I had to find a new one. Sunny Days is highly rated so I figured I'd give them a shot. And since I'm retired and home a lot--and don't miss traffic--the mobile service was appealing. I've waited until now to write this, because I didn't want to base my review on only one experience. This week Sunny Days groomed my Maltese for the 2nd time and they've groomed my Cairn twice, so I've now had 4 interactions. Everything is very professional and organized. The techs (do we dare call anyone "groomers" these days?) have all been friendly and professional. They take their time, too, which I really appreciate. In fact I think that's why they will schedule a 2-hour block of time for their arrival. I'm guessing they don't want the techs to feel rushed as they work or drive. So be aware that when you make an appointment it won't be down to the minute. The owner--very friendly--is available by phone and I've spoken with her but most of my communication has been via text, which I find convenient. I've paid by cash and once by Zelle. Realize that if you do pay via Zelle you might be asked to screenshot the payment confirmation screen and text it. Not a big deal but this Boomer struggled a bit to navigate to that screen. I've been very happy with the job done on my boys and the customer service aspect. Caveat: You might become spoiled with the convenience of the mobile service. You walk your dog to the door...then later open the door to a freshly groomed doggie. It's great. I don't know if I will ever drive to a salon again. Note: This review is legit.
