I told her no problem and asked about how much longer. After giving her more than another 45 min. that she had stated she needed, I called again. She then said she'd been calling me, but I didn't get a single call or text. She then raised the original price from $70 to $75. At this point I didn't care. I just wanted my dog. My dog had NEVER come out looking like this. I couldn't believe how poor the grooming was. That night I found a cut on her paw. I wanted to support small local business, but I won't be back.

When I spoke with Brenda, the owner, she gave me clear instructions on how to help my boy get comfortable with the experience. She advised me to touch his paws, ears, and random areas, brush him consistently, and get him used to the handling they do. She made it clear that consistent handling at home and at the shop is what would help him succeed. Although he's not completely perfect yet, we've gotten him to a point where he can be successfully groomed! The overall grooming experience was fantastic. He came out smelling so clean, his coat is incredibly shiny and super soft, and I can finally see his beautiful eyes! The team here is incredibly patient, kind, and they do an amazing job.

In the past there as no need to pre order product but they have dropped two of the brands so difficult to break the news to our animals. Unlike pet stores that buy their baby birds from huge bird mills, Lee treats every bird as if they were his own up until time to hand them over to their new mama or Papa . Of all the many places that I have gotten cockatiels, the two that I have now are the sweetest most talkative that I have ever owned. I had a friend come in from New Jersey a couple weeks ago, and she has had literally 30 birds at once, all parrots. She also has her college degree in zoology or some other degree that I can't remember that specializes in birds? And she was impressed with the level of love, affection, and attention that my cockatiels want all the time. That is not always the case with this type of bird. When you have to go out of town, it's not as easy as leaving a dog with one of your best friends. Unless someone is a bird person, they are either reluctant or I am reluctant to leave my BIRDS with them because I know that it's a whole other process to babysit my babies . Thank God for Lee and his inexpensive, boarding services. If you request it, he will have your bird with wings clipped, nails trimmed, beak trimmed whatever you need by the time you come back to pick up your feathered friend. I know there are a lot "pet sitters" that advertise that they will watch your bird in their home, but buyer beware. I have heard horror stories of how they let the bird out of the cage and the bird flies out an open window or a cat or a child. has hurt the bird. One thing I love about the new location where Lee is at, it is super secure with double door type protection, and he does not even allow customers to play or visit with your birds that he is watching for you, for their safety. I also love that it's a family business and you see his kids running around and learning the business. And although it's a smaller store, it's plenty adequate to display tons of toys, snacks, high-quality seed and pellets as well as my favorite part, he always has BIRDS for sale , and is always working on his next set of babies. Not to mention, but to my knowledge, he is the only person anywhere close to here that sells something called a helicopter parakeet . I'm about three or four weeks away from moving into my new home, and I've built a little indoor Avery so my birds can jump around and feel free and not be in their cage as much when I'm gone, and I plan on adding one of these beautiful little parakeets to my collection. And I'd like one more medium size parrot, about the size of my green cheek Connor, but a little bigger. He has these cockatoos with the most breathtaking rose colored heads and feathers. Every time I go in there, I see some new type of parrot that I've not seen before, or some coloring on a cockatiel that I've never seen and it's just a wonderful experience. The only problem is he could use more help , lolololol. Because there's annoying people like me that just wanna sit and look at every single bird for sale, and ask 10,000 questions while he's trying to do grooming, daily feed and care of his birds and help customers who are actually purchasing things! He is always so straightforward, his prices are incredibly fair, even less expensive than magnolia bird farms in Riverside, which is quite a hike to get to, and many of their birds are not hand trained despite what they try to tell you . Don't be deceived by people who say oh I hand raised this bird . Taking a baby bird away from its mother and just simply feeding it with your hand is a far cry from actually raising a bird to want to trust and love humans . Lee has certainly mastered that art. Please go by and support him today, we would be in a lot of trouble if we lost EXOTIC BIRDS UNLIMITED

I have an older, miniature poodle. For years I dropped him at the groomer's and had to wait until late afternoon to pick him up. I was never sure when he actually got groomed and how long he waited for me to pick him up. The last time I was there, I learned they groomed him at 10:30 am! I always had to wait until 3:00 to pick him up as they didn't want pick-ups during grooming times! All that time he was in a cage with crying, upset dogs all around him - and no potty breaks! I looked into mobile services and found David Estrada with Dogs Gone Stylin'. David was so kind and let me inspect his mobile grooming truck (I had never seen one). Right away, I felt comfortable and gave my dog over for his first mobile groom. Just under an hour later, there he was, all washed, cut (perfectly) and HAPPY! I have used David now for many years and I will never use anyone else. I trust him so much. In fact, I trust him so much, that on many occasions, I allow him to come into my home when I'm not there, take my dog to the van, and once done, he places him back in my home. Easy. I highly recommend David. He is compassionate, kind to his doggy clients and takes pride in his work. The best! read more

I was dog sitting for my mother's 2 dogs while she was in the hospital and they desperately needed a bath. I called David on Saturday and left a message that I was keeping these dogs and wondered if he did same day appointments. I got a call back Sunday evening. David said he books a week in advance but that he would make an exception and come on his day off. The dogs are rescues and my mother always thought they were a shitzu mix. After they were groomed David told me they are actually lhasa apsos. I looked them up on the Internet and sure enough they looked just like the pics. I was very impressed with David's knowledge of all the different breeds. He considers himself an artist and knows just what type of cut will maximize your dogs looks. One problem was I have terrible chemical allergies and so once I got the dogs back all pretty and clean, the soap smell on them made me sick. I called David and he gave me a few suggestions but when nothing worked his wife came the very next day and rinsed them off again. I agree with other reviewers that David takes pride in his work and is exceptional at what he does. If you care about compassion and quality, look no further. read more

I highly recommend!!! My golden retriever, Olaf has been getting groomed by Dogs Gone Stylin' since 2018. Olaf tends to get anxious when it comes to getting a bath/haircut, but David has always been kind to him. I've been to other grooming places and didn't have good experiences, so David is the only person that I trust and feel comfortable with grooming Olaf. Not only is David kind and patient, he does an great job on Olaf's haircut which is a bonus because I know my dog can be lazy which has been difficult for other groomers in the past. The price is worth having the convenience of a groomer outside your front door and knowing that your dog is being taken care of one on one instead of being in a kennel for hours while other dogs are getting groomed like traditional grooming shops. read more

If you are looking for a fantastic mobile groomer, then call these guys. My old senior dog has trouble standing for long periods and being part Schnauzer, grows hair on his feet that has to be kept under control. David gave him a short shave exactly how I wanted, cleaned up his feet and nails and Mac is in great shape. He even took my very anxiety-ridden shepherd in and trimmed her nails for me. My original appointment was for a week away and they had a cancellation and was able to get him in earlier. I am so happy and highly recommend anyone who wants the convience of not having to haul your dogs in and out of your car to give David from Dogs Gone Stylin' a call..... he is amazing and well worth it.... David and Shannon groom all 3 of our dogs and do an exceptional job! We have 2 golden retrievers (1 with really long hair) and 1 shih tzu mix and they always look and smell amazing after their grooming! We never worry about them having any matting after grooming, like we have with other groomers. You will not have to check their work! Shannon did an absolutely wonderful job grooming our boy Niko. We are new to Beaumont and this was our first local grooming experience. We decided to try Dogs Gone Styling' because of the excellent Yelp reviews and because Niko is quite skittish and doesn't do well in a kennel environment. holly was getting herself in a frenzy when i took her to my normal groomer so i decided to try david and shannon. i had heard only awesome things about them both. david bent over backwards to make sure she wasnt stressed out. last time i had her groomed it took 3 hours because she kept on stressing and the groomer would have to stop and calm her down. it takes david less than an hour he puts her back in my arms and she looks perfect and is CALM. she is a mini pom and he has to hand cut her. read more

Our girls hadn't been to a groomers for almost 2 years unfortunately, so their nails were very long. We were told to bring in their current rabies vaccine card, which was fine. Both of our girls were so happy to have been taken care of and seem to have really enjoyed being there. We couldn't get a picture of them together afterward because Sierra, our Pitsky is so hyper sometimes lol.
