Nice presentation and clearly, whoever prepared it is truly passionate about their job. The portions are large, so expect leftovers. We ordered a fried shrimp appetizer (similar to bang bang shrimp) and a chicken quesadilla as starters. Each could have been a meal on its own and both were delicious. (It's typical bar food - but done well.) For our main dishes we ordered Shepherds Pie (server's recommendation and favorite menu item ), Northern Fish Fry (cod); and a simple cheeseburger with bacon.. everything was tasty, nicely prepared, and again...large portions. The Shepherds Pie came with fresh steamed veggies that were wonderful and a nice surprise. *Note that cod is the Northern Fish Fry- but they also offer a catfish version. The wine was 50% off both by the glass and bottle, I believe that is their typical Saturday drink special.
