    Chicken Pad thai. Delicious
    Jimmy C.

Craving for Pad Thai. Decided to try this little family owned restaurant. I believe it's a husband and wife team. The man was very friendly with warmth welcoming. Was ordering to go... since there were tables available, decided to dine-in. The Pad Thai was little sweet to my taste; I squeezed a slice of lime and voila....the tangy juice complemented the sweetness of the Pad Thai were perfect. Ingredients were fresh...bean sprouts, Chicken, and noodles cooked perfectly. It was delicious and satisfying to my taste buds. Parking is plenty and they accept credit cards. Definitely going back.

Haven't gone to this place for a while, but since I was craving Thai food and the place we were going to was closed we went to this one. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The lunch specials are one of the cheapest ones in the area only $7.99, which comes with the entrée, rice, and crispy wonton. Serving size was enough for one. The pad prik was very flavorful with a slight kick. The chicken vegetable noodle soup was enough for us to share and the pad thai was above average. Great value. If you are looking at an economical but filling meal try this out

First time we have been here. Food was delicious. We ordered fried rice w/chicken, pineapple fried rice, lard salad, pad see ew and mango sticky rice. The food was delicious. Wish the portion sizes were bigger

I ordered the Yellow curry to go. It was very watery, no flavor. Can get better Thai at another place. Not good for the price 16$

Amazing food and service like always! You can't go wrong with anything you order. My family is slowly making our way through the whole menu and this was the 5th or 6th time we have went. I love that they let you choose the spice levels of the food since I prefer my food spice however my sister cant handle spicy foods.

Great service but green beans were either frozen or super overcooked. Papaya salad was good, soup just so-so. Won't return here

Head Chef Andy more than does his part in creating a "beautiful and pleasant" experience for his patrons through the gifted touch of his culinary skills. While your favorite Yelp Correspondent has sampled many Thai eateries since the days he usta live in Thai Town (East Hollywood) after graduating from USC 35+ yrs ago, he's NOT the most adventurous diner. I always confine my order to either Pad Thai or Pad See Ew. On this SAT, the eve before Memorial Day, I ordered two plates of Chicken Pad Thai. The pluses? The minced peanuts sparkled, as did the proportion of slivered carrots, green scallions and bean sprouts to chicken was ideal. The tamarind based sauce was excellent. Minuses? That the sauce in my second order was more plentiful- The first order was noticeably dryer than its follow up one was. This correspondent considers himself very fortunate to live within practical walking distance of two outstanding Thai restaurants in Diamond Bar (Silver Spoons and Basil, respectively). But when I'm in or near "the Pride of the Foothills," (Glendora) then I'll go in search of my next Ruenrom...or "pleasant experience."

The ambiance is more like a family owned diner, nothing fancy but also quite comfortable They offer lunch specials at very reasonable prices. The pad thai and pad see euw are always reliable, I personally haven't tried their curry dishes but I've had friends who thought it was quite good and were satisfied with their meal. Service is prompt and attentive. I didn't have to wait very long for my meal. I'm not an expert at Thai food, nonetheless I'm going to venture the food here is more authentic than other places I've dined at. For example, sometimes I've had pad thai that was too sweet, that's not the issue here. I really want to see this place continue to be successful. It's a comfortable place perfect for lunch and serves the students and staff at the nearby schools (Azusa Pacific and Citrus College) quite well with their food, service, and prices.

Went close to 6:00 pm and there were plenty of parking spots available in a shared plaza. It wasn't busy at the time so I was able to get my order quickly. Everything was ready and packed when I got there! I appreciate that they put the peanuts in a separate container. For the order, I got the Pad Thai and the combo platter. The pad thai was on the sweeter side. I got my order with pork as the protein choice. I felt if a lime was provided, it would help balance out the flavors of the noodles. The peanut was kept in a separate container, which I appreciated. The platter consists of a variety of items from dumplings, egg rolls, cream cheese wonton, wonton, and shrimp tempura. The container had holes to allow for the steam to escape, so most of the items were still crispy. Nothing from the platter particularly stands out in taste, besides possibly cream cheese wonton. Overall, it felt like an okay option if you're in the area.

There was a bit of a wait, they don't have much staff but they work very hard and as fast as possible. I got the duck noodle soup, which was a lot bigger than I thought. It's on the sweet side and it reminded me of what I ate at a village in Thailand, and I loved it. The duck was easy to eat as well, soft and tender. My mom got Queen of the Sea with a side of rice. She enjoyed it very much. I had some of the sauce with some rice, to taste. It was nice and creamy but it was still light. It didn't feel heavy in the stomach. The friend ice cream is a little uneven. One side, the bread was thin but the other side was super thick and hard to eat. It's perfectly crisp though, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bowl for the ice cream was really cute but I think a different bowl might be better because it was a little hard to eat without flinging it around. I was only in town to take a test nearby, but if I'm ever back in the area, I would 100% return and try the other dishes.

The food is just as good as I remembered, and the service was friendly (same person I remember from about 5 years ago, which was honestly nice to see.) It's a small shop with only about 4-5 tables, and there were tons of to-go and pickup orders while I was there, but I decided to dine in. What I ordered: Khao Soi - I saw this being advertised and had never tried it before, so I went for it. Super unique dish with a strong, creamy coconut flavor that wasn't overpowering at all. The noodles were great, and overall it was really comforting and delicious. Would 100% order again. (5/5) Pad See Ew (Shrimp) - A classic done well. Solid flavors, nothing too heavy, and very tasty overall. The shrimp were plump and fresh, which I appreciated. (4.5/5) I also asked about mango sticky rice, and they were honest and told me the mangos weren't fully ripe yet. I really appreciated that honesty. Instead, they gave me their complimentary cookies and cream ice cream, which ended up being really good too. There isn't much good Asian food in Azusa, so if you're living nearby, I'd definitely recommend this spot, it's one of the few reliable gems in the area. Parking: Small shared lot with neighboring businesses.
