Horrible experience. Had friends visiting out of town and they were so excited to try this place. I knew we were going to be late so we called ahead to place a to go order. Only to find out they don't do to go orders. We get there 10 mins before closing... ask for what we wanted and then they tell us "they can't make that item". Fun place! Large servings! Ordered the passion fruit crepe cake -- very tasty with lots of whipping cream and real passion fruit seeds and flavor. Matcha (green tea) ice cream thing w/ a fish shaped pastry with custard in the middle. There are several flavors of the pasty, and they're willing to sub. Red= red bean (not a fan, as it was dry and I'm not into red food coloring), custard (mild and good), chocolate I think, but didn't try it. Surprised by the large servings. Two or three people could definitely share one ($9). Basically soft serve vanilla ice cream w/ bits of crumbled biscoff cookie? The matcha had a matcha sauce that was actually good and not too sweet. Think it had a few pocky sticks on top and the fish shaped pastry (forgot what it's called). Also got the passion fruit ice cream one, which was equally good, and very large. Kiosk was a bit of a pain, but the lady was sweet enough to help us and explain everything. I wasn't too impressed by the passion fruit crepe cake. I'd day the cream puff sundae was best because you got to try both the cream puff and their ice cream flavors all in one. It is quite a bit though so make sure you're not too full if you decide to get it. The cream puff was a yummy flavor and had a nice texture, and also super cute! Lots of indoor seats and some had outlets so a nice little stop to recharge with some dessert. read more

I hate to be the only one not giving a 4 or 5 star review to this place. But I just don't see what all the fuss is about. We came out of our way to get something different for dessert after being in Park City all day. I had heard good things and was really excited. I love rolled ice cream, but ended up getting a taiyaki, per the recommendation of the employee. I was not a fan of the fish-shaped "waffle" at all, in taste or texture. It was chewy. I got chocolate ice cream, which just ended up being subpar soft serve. I chose Nutella filling and Biscoff and Oreo topping. The Biscoff was barely sprinkled on there. I didn't even finish my ice cream I was so disappointed. (Not finishing dessert is a rare occurrence in my life.) Honestly, I came in this place wanting to like it and tried really hard to like it. But my ice cream itself really wasn't even good; all I really liked was my Oreos, which I could've had at home. A soft serve from Costco, McDonald's, or Wienerschnitzel would've been better (and cheaper). The good? The inside is cute. It's clean. The girl who took our order was nice. That's all I got. This lovely little slice of paradise is tucked away on 4th south downtown-and if you blink, you might miss it. There's a parking lot just west of the building (I hope it's ok to part there-we did.) Rolled ice cream is not new, but it sure is delicious! Here, you'll find that-and more! Each menu item is carefully curated and hand made, then topped with lovely fruit, cream, candies, etc. Or you can go plain, like I do, and skip all of that. Watch while your treat is being made, then take it to one of the little nooks with pillows to sit on or grab a board game to play. This little hangout is meant to be a place where you'll want to stay an chill. OK Salt Lake City really needed something this spectacular. I single-handedly assign the responsibility of one of the most successful birthday parties I've ever been at to the celebratory nature of the food. Many smiles across the board and it didn't just look good it tasted good also. The star of the show here was the presentation and I loved it! If a frumpy old birthday party with cake and ice cream won't do... I would seriously consider this place. In fact, at this point, I'm not sure I would consider anything else. Pro-tip: If you like Asian desserts, I would not recommend this place. Highlights: The concepts are good, but the execution is terrible. First place I've seen a mochi waffle combination. The place is cute with nice tables and a small seating area that has Japanese style tables with pillows on a "grassy" area. Lowlights: They only offer moffles and japanese pancakes after 5pm. My BIGGEST problem with this place is their flavor profiles and how they don't combine at all. For the moffles (and taiyakis), you get a sauce, a crunch, and a topping. The sauces are a mix of fruity (passionfruit, raspberry rose), American (dark chocolate, salted dulce de leche), and Asian (white chocolate matcha/ube), but their crunch is all American (Oreo's, Reese's, Brownies, Graham Crackers, Biscoff Cookies, and sprinkles) and their toppings are all fruit (strawberries, kiwi, mango, peach, lychee). Basically the only edible combination you would be able to do is some sort of chocolate strawberry but nothing else works. They could so easily improve this if they 1) offered toppings and fillings they already have for other items - like offering their taiyaki fillings (lemon custard, red bean, taro) for the moffle crunch or topping, or 2) offering more universal crunch options like mochi bites, nuts, cornflakes, coconut shavings that go with any flavor profile or 3) offering fruit that pairs better with chocolate like bananas and apples. The moffle was overloaded with whipped cream which made the moffle soggy, the passionfruit special sauce was so artificial and oversweet, it made the glands in the back of my mouth secrete, and even the soft serve was subpar. I LOVE dessert and am always compelled to finish every last bite, but I couldn't stomach more than two bites of this. Here, you can get it filled with delicious things like custard and served with tasty ice cream! Masks are required and seating is limited if you go on a busy Thursday night. They have water cups available and plenty of utensils if you're sharing. I've never tried a fluffy pancake before, so I had to order it it for the 'gram lol. The cashier recommended Nutella or matcha and we went with Nutella. There wasn't very much of a Nutella flavor and it had dark chocolate cream cheese inside the pancake, but only in the very center. The taste of whipped eggs stood out the most, but it was very light and not overly sweet like how American pancakes can be.
