This beautiful restaurant is nestled within the lovely community of Del Sur, just west of 4S Ranch. The building itself is impressive and once inside, very thoughtfully and elegantly decorated and appointed. My first impression was this is a standout place and I'm so glad I dined here. The staff were all so welcoming, friendly, and personable. We were even visited by Rosina herself as she delighted us in a tour of the menu and answered questions. I started with the Burrata alla Panna, served with heirloom tomatoes, which was outstanding. Most places just call this one "Caprese". For dinner I had the Lasagna which was excellent! House made pasta sheets layered with meat Bolognese, bechamel, ricotta, mozzarella, and Romano cheeses. Served bubbly hot and beautifully baked off on top, just how I like it. I was impressed by the number of thin, delicious layers that went into their lasagna. I look forward to visiting again soon and cannot recommend Rosina's more highly enough!

Also got a taste of the Raviolo di Margo Nuziale- look at the menu to see what it was- and the sauce on that was delicious! I may have liked that a bit better than my entree. You can't go wrong with either one though. Ordered a cannoli [$10.50] to top us off and that was a great choice! Everything came out super fast- other than the dessert- which was impressive. Not quite a 5 star meal, but I'd definitely go here again!

Since my dog is allergic to chicken, they immediately apologized, took it back, and made a fresh beef version. The customer service was excellent, and my dog absolutely devoured it. This was disturbing because on the booth side of the table where my mom and I sat, we felt the movement of squirmy children from the table next to us. Highly recommend more attention to table selection by the host staff. Given the classiness of this place, I find it silly that I'd have to go out of my way to ask for hot food and to be seated only around adults. We will be taking The Pony Room out of our rotation for a while.

My husband and I had dinner there the other night with a few of our friends. The atmosphere was really warm and it felt like you were in someones home. The food was delicious. Let me tell you this place did not disappoint one bit. Service was absolutely fantastic, food was out of this world amazing and the price point for the food was exactly what you should expect. This is a 10 star out of 5 star review type of place. Do t let the outside fool you as the inside drink and food options will be something you won't want to miss! I did the shrimp wonton appetizer along with the Cioppino which was about top 3 I've ever had! Definitely will be back again for this linguine clams next time!

I will admit that the calamari appetizer was good. It was not outstanding as it used to be. My husband tried the Del Mar Crab Ravioli. It was fair and he would not order it again. I know that he was hungry when he finished. I ordered the crispy skinned duck. It was my favorite dish here. But this time, the skin was not crispy and the duck was dry and over cooked. So disappointing. The dishes used to be so large that we always had food to take home. Now, it doesn't taste good enough to take home and the portions are smaller. Believe it or not, this was not the first thing that happened. Because of past experience, we now order our food in stages. First we order our beverages. Then we wait a short while and order any starters. After we are done with the starters, we order our entrees. We do not want all of the food to come out of the kitchen at the same time as has happened in the past. When the bill came, I left a gift card and my credit card. When the server came back, the gift card was not fully used, but we did not get it back. I found a receipt the a little more than a dollar that was charged on my credit card. It turned out that the gift card was enough for the bill alone without charging my credit card. The gift card had a small amoutn on it, but the card itself was not returned. When I questioned it, the server told us that the bartender told her to do it this way. The whole transaction was wrong!! It is obvious to us that the people working there did not have a clue how to run the transaction. Also, there didn't seem to be anyone in charge on that night. We were extremely disappointed on many levels. At one time this was a 4-5 star restaurant. Not any more.
