This place is sooooo good. I came here first time during lunch specials. I tried the pizza, salad, and beignets. I came back a second time during Sunday happy hour. We ordered just about everything off the happy hour menu. So much food and so stuffed but still needed to get two slices of pizza. The thing I love is that the crust is super thin and crispy. Not everyone is gonna like this style of pizza but for me, it is worth driving 30 min out of the way to have a stunning meal. Perfect for an after hike lunch or a casual meet up. First time trying and the food did not disappoint! Came on Sunday for dinner and was able to order on the happy hour menu. The food was seasoned very well and there was a nice variety on the menu. The garlic knots were GARLICY :P yum! The chicken wings were very tasty and comes with around 4-5 pieces for half a pound at $7. If you were to order a total of one pound of chicken wings, it is cheaper to purchase this on the regular menu. The sandwiches/burgers come with a side dish of either daily soup, salad (house or caesar), or fries. The server today December 14, was very friendly and attentive. He answered all of our questions and served us with a smile. There is around 14 tables inside the restaurant with the bar area and 9 tvs. There is also outdoor dining both in the front and back of the restaurant that seats a ton! Definitely can see this place being very busy for sports. I will definitely come here again, and will try the other food on happy hour and the regular menu. I love a good happy hour deal, so when I heard this place has happy hour all day on Saturday, I knew we had to go. This restaurant is located in a small shopping center surrounded by residential homes. There is plenty of parking. The receptionist greeted us with a smile and seated us immediately. It wasn't busy at all on a Saturday at noon. The bartender came and took our order and the food came out quickly. She was friendly and checked on us often. They have 4 ready made pizza flavors each day for sale by the slice. Their happy hour menu has chicken wings, tenders, and boneless wings with a variety of sauces. The best sauce is the mango habanero! The pizza is solid, wings are good, tenders are a little too salty. We've also had their beignets and cheese sticks at another visit and they were good too. I've been coming to this place for years and it's honestly decent food but with the new management I'm not sure. Here's the issue - I ordered wings with blue cheese dressing and after devouring the first wing covered in blue cheese i realized something was up with the dressing - it had gone bad. It was fizzy and full of bubbles and didn't taste right. I pointed this out to the waiter, and they brought me new dressing and admitted that it had gone bad and promised that the new dressing was good but at that point the damage was done and I was done with blue cheese for a while. They didn't take the wings (that I didn't eat bc I was grossed out) off the bill and now I'm just hoping that my upset stomach doesn't get worse. read more

This place is a neighborhood pizza joint that doubles as a decent sports bar. It was very quiet on the Sunday afternoon that I was there with just a few other people taking in some NFL games. Service was fine especially with so few customers and the pizza was fresh and good with a nice doughy crust. The spaghetti sauce was on the sour side which isn't my preference but not horrible, and the meatballs had a strange aftertaste I couldn't put my finger on.. I think the fennel was very overwhelming. The pizza honestly reminded me of frozen pizza. The dough was tough, the toppings were too salty, and again the tomato sauce was on the sour side. Found this spot on Yelp and wanted to try something new. Came in for dinner around 6pm and it wasn't busy but had a good amount of people inside. Ordered a pizza and some pasta. Dough Whisperer: The pizza before was fine, but now it is great! This is apparently due to one person in the kitchen who is obsessive about making the dough perfectly. 2. $11 lunch specials: Combo deals like 2 slices or a half sandwich with a side. That is less than a big mac combo at McDonalds, and it is good food. (Add a beer for $5, too. Can't do that at McDonalds.) Like where in Carmel Valley can you get that kind of value? 3. Happy hour deals: From 3pm-6pm and all weekend long, $7 will get you 2 slices of pizza, a half pound of wings, or a bunch of other great options, plus wine, drafts, and well drinks. It is the best deal in town. 4. Super-friendly staff: They hire really well here. Everyone is efficient while being fun and welcoming. 5. Group-friendly: I was there a few nights ago and a party of like 50 people took over the whole back patio. There are not many restaurants that can handle that kind of group. Anyway. We are close by, after waiting we call again, told our food is there if we want to come get it, and no refund BTW and if we want a refund we have to call Doordash, Seriously WTF? We told her to refund our money. We know from prior experience the restaurant can either call or message Doordash and resolve the order issue instantly, . We asked to speak to the owner, told Gabriel never comes in on the weekends, and which we replied surely he must have a number to call for issues, yes, but hes not going to call you, we requested a call back to get our refund, on an order they wouldnt actually give us, insane After this latest of many issues we are done. We walked in with five people with no reservations on a Friday night and it was PACKED. Despite being very busy with lots of kids after FNL, everyone from the bartender to the hostess to our server were very very nice and accommodating and friendly. In any other situation, I can imagine wait staff getting overwhelmed but everyone who serviced us was kind and cheerful. This is obviously cultural and how they are. Wonderful spot. I Made an online order for 730 pick (two hours prior) after hearing an advertisement to 500 people at Friday night lights. I got there at 730 and they were back up. Understandable. It is so difficult to like this place. Their pizza is really good (the only reason for second star). The rest of their food is solid. Their bar, so so. What kills this place is the incompetent and completely lackluster service. Now under new ownership the servers seem to have remained the same. Tonight I went to dinner, sat down and ordered a pizza and a salad. More than 45 minutes later I waived to a server to get attention and told him to cancel the pizza and just make my salad to go. They brought the salad and responded that they didn't know I ordered a pizza. Unreal. This place needs to reset and reboot with its service staregy if it wants to survive.
