Best Sunday night sunset!! I made a reservation on Open Table and they got us seated on the outdoor patio. Super nice. Heat lamp also to keep you cozy warm once the sun has set!! VINNY OUR HOST & WAITER had an attention to detail which made our celebration flow. We had appetizers, main dishes and desert. All exceptional. Loved it Excellent service and food.

Came for brunch to celebrate my husband's birthday and had a really great time. Lovely sitting outside and the food was also very nice! Massive portion size on everything and a really creative menu as well. I was a little sad that the website mentioned one salad that I was hoping to get but they didn't have it. But absolutely love how the server and kitchen were able to customize a salad just for me. Major thank you for that! Steak Salad but with chicken instead + strawberries. It had mixed greens, corn, cherry tomatoes, red onion, avocado. There was a dressing that came on the side as well but I didn't add any because it was lovely on its own. I would say the chicken was a little bit overcooked and dry but otherwise a very flavorful salad! Farmer Burger (Sautéed wild mushrooms, grilled onions, egg, Swiss cheese, arugula lettuce & garlic aioli) Husband got this burger with a side salad and the burger itself was phenomenal! The mushroom and onion along with the meat and cheese and everything else going on was really really delicious! Chorizo Flatbread (Mexican chorizo, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, sliced avocado & chipotle crema) One of our friends got this with a side of bacon and he quite enjoyed it. Very large flatbread as well and it definitely looked appetizing! Benedict & Biscuits (creamy spinach, poached eggs, honey chipotle hollandaise, & breakfast potatoes) Not going to lie this meal looked really phenomenal! Quite a large portion size and those potatoes look tasty as well. I'm pretty sure it was nice because the guy actually finished everything Chilaquiles ( eggs, tortilla chips, tomatoes, red onion, avocado, crema, queso fresco & tomatillo sauce) Two people on our table actually got this and both said it was lovely. They liked how the chips were not cooked with the sauce and they were actually still crunchy. There was also extra sauce on the side which they appreciated. Both people said that they usually get soggy chilaquiles at other restaurants but this one was the perfect balance of crunchy and saucy. Churro French Toast Bites (with chocolate dipping sauce, whipped cream, seasonal berries) A friend on the table got this and shared it with her husband. Very creative concept here! I was expecting slices of bread but it turned out to be a little bits of bread that were cooked like French toast and then coated in cinnamon sugar. French toast itself was nice but I wasn't a fan of the chocolate sauce. So I personally wouldn't get this item but otherwise nice.

Great for happy hour! Food and drinks are all solid here - don't expect to be blown away but nothing will really disappoint. Good for groups. Service is friendly and good. Parking can be tough since you're so close to the beach

I was really looking forward to happy hour and was so excited to return to Sbicca after having such a great experience previously. We already knew what we wanted to order before we even sat down. The staff was great as usual. There was a good crowd outside, and they had umbrellas set up so you're not sitting directly in the sun. That said, I was a bit disappointed this time. The food didn't taste as consistent as we both remembered. For example, the Salmon Crudo tasted a bit sweeter rather than having that lime forward flavor we were expecting. Don't get me wrong it was still good and we will continue to return! But for us, we'll probably just stick to two orders of the sliders we love so much next time.

The service was a bit slow at first but it picked up when we got a new bartender. Forgot his name but he was awesome. There are inside dining at the bar area. The rest are outside, either on patio in front or covered patio on the side. Cute place. Food was good but nothing to rave about. Just wish they had oysters on HH. It's only street parking so finding parking can be hard. We did get lucky on Saturday at 5:30pm to score a spot across the street.

Everyone here is Great! Greg was slammed with several tables and a huge party to take care of, and he managed to balance everyone well to make sure everyone was served. His helper made sure plates were cleared, new utensils were given and water was always refilled. The kitchen was Fire! They were slammed yet somehow got food out in a timely manner.... Dare I say... Quick! They split the mixed salad for us which was very nice. The salad dressing was fantastic and I could have easily drank it from the container...or just give me a bowl of it. Ha! The Bread was HOT out of the oven!!!! And just melted in your mouth. My ahi was perfectly prepared. Although I thought the sesame crust was a little heavy handed and salty.... But that's me. I really liked the wasabi mashed potatoes as well!! I got a small taste of the husband's shrimp and it was succulent! All in all...a really nice meal. We will be back when we visit Del Mar again.

Sbicca is a great location in downtown Del Mar where you can get views of the ocean and sunset. The menu is clearly labeled with allergens and the staff seems to be knowledgeable about accommodations. The filet mignon tacos sounded like a great idea but the execution was poor. The steak pieces were heavily salted, over cooked and too large for the fragile corn tortilla to support. The sauce also had a decent spice level. The biggest issue was the speed of service. We had to flag down the waiter multiple times to take our order and get the check. Our entree order wasn't taken until at least 20 minutes after we finished the appetizers. Overall it took 3 hours to have dinner with 4 people which was not what we wanted on a Wednesday night.

Absolutely love coming here! they recently added a new patio canopy with lights that make the place even cuter now! Honestly, you can't go wrong with any food on the menu. Their wine selection is wonderful as well. Tuesdays & Thursdays are half price bottles!

Happy hour here is absolutely amazing! 7 days a week wi the great portions is a great deal. Only issue i saw was there wasn't enough people in terms of employees. Poor guy was all alone and nobody seemed concerned that someone was obviously late. He did great although i didn't catch his name (tall and ginger younger guy) Food was delicious the flatbread was AMAZING! And the fries were a great starter! Alcohol is delicious and a great price as well. Parking of course is a little tough since it's all street parking, but we drove around for a little and found it generally fast! Will 100% be back for date night!

The food here is incredible. I had the parmesan chicken breast. I was very pleasantly surprised how good it was. It was a deep fried chicken breast. And it was huge. Covered over with parmesan. And a delicious sauce. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. I really want to go back again.

I had a friend visiting from the East Coast. Once young single professionals living in a cosmopolitan city. When she is here, we usually visit another great beach town in search of fashion, food and other fabulous finds. We chose to eat at Sbicca, a long established restaurant in downtown Del Mar. Modern fare and not as seafood heavy as its local counterparts. Sbicca began as a local shoe brand, hence meeting our food and fashion needs. The girls and I toasted with mimosas at this perfect place for a girls luncheon by the water. We enjoyed carne asada taco plates with views of the water. Easy parking at 11am on a weekday, and garage parking nearby. Our waiter introduced us to the top deck with fireplace, with sweet views. #DelMar #Sbicca #GirlsLunch #WaterViews #IWillToastToThat

Fabulous. The staff is so so nice and the food is delicious! Shocked you can get food this good at these prices. We ordered the shrimp fettuccine and burger sliders off the happy hour menu. The shrimp fettuccine is a MUST! The burgers were good as well but definitely still thinking about the pasta. We then ordered the bread basket and crab cake. Both were great! I would get the sauce on the side next time on the crab cake.. it was delicious I just prefer dunking my bites. Overall fantastic

Service was very nice Waitress was friendly n attentive The mussels were not fresh but the grilled garlic bread was delicious The short ribs were too burnt but the other fresh toppings were good. The location near the beach is a huge plus

Even though we hadn't stopped at Mia's for that celebration, the staff brought out something special anyway, which was very much appreciated.
