RACIST & A SCAM Please do not go here if you are not fluent in English because you will be treated with hostility and lies. The dealer Jeff promised us $1000 off any car and my dad brought it up multiple times to confirm he heard it right because he's not fluent in English and every time they said it would be honored. We called on Monday/Tuesday of this week to confirm that we were going to buy a car on Friday. Friday comes around & we're at the dealership & Jeff claims that corporate said he could no longer offer discounts and that they told him about it yesterday. My dad brings up how we told him that we confirmed on Monday/Tuesday that we were going to buy a car & that Jeff could've called us to let us know. Jeff lied & said he didn't have our number in the system, but we literally called just a couple days ago and we filled out some paperwork a week & a half ago with our number on it. I don't know if he just didn't bother to look because it doesn't take a lot to go back & look. On top of that he repeatedly made snarky remarks such as "you should've bought it a week ago" every time my dad expressed his confusion. How does saying that remedy the situation in any way? My dad also asked him a question about a timing belt & Jeff gave him attitude & told him to Google it. Throughout this whole ordeal he did not apologize once and was completely unprofessional. This is not at all a friendly place for people don't speak English fluently. We did meet Gary & Gary was very sweet & kind, however, Jeff's demeanor overshadowed all of that. read more

Great place to buy a car! Prices are set by Corporate so there's no haggling, upselling, or BS. They have prices well below market value. The place itself is super run-down, perfect for cheapskates like me who feel nauseous about flashy modern dealerships. You're buying a car, not a building, right? They didn't have the color we wanted but were able to find one right away. We arrived late the same day and were told the car was ready to go, but the interior wasn't detailed well and it smelled of cig smoke (we had to get an O3 ozone treatment for it and a detail job, $65 on Groupon for that). The sales guy later admitted that they may have rushed it through and they did not reimburse us for the detail job we paid for, despite our asking... therefore the 4-star review. Otherwise they'd have been a solid 5. Our 2019 Forester was pretty clean, $3k below market value, and loaded with options. Yeah, a few scuffs and pings in the paint, but at least we won't have our hearts broken when our new(ish) car gets its first bump. Just keep in mind that these are all previous rentals and may have their quirks (weird settings on the entertainment system, cig smoke odor, small knobs and switches may not work). Be sure to inspect your car closely, I'm sure they will make things right if there are any problems. We had none. Best of all, the deal was OVER and DONE in under an hour, with minimal contact (we have a high-risk family member) and most paperwork done in the parking lot. It may have been longer if we had a trade-in to deal with, but it was a straight purchase for us. (Other reviews here weigh in on trade-ins and seem positive). They also found us an AMAZING APR via BECU (they scored us 2.9% when our pre-approval letter from BofA was around 7%) with no money down. Our credit is pretty good (low 700s) but this was a lot better than expected. Smooth transaction, a solid ride, a great price, and a low interest rate. Thanks, Dollar! read more

RED FLAG, BE WARE! NO ACCESS TO HIGHER MANAGEMENT or ACCESS to OWNERS to ADDRESS ANY ISSUE. Why would you buy a car that had been rented for hundreds of people! That's hundreds of driving behaviors! Have you noticed the smell in their cars? That's the sweat and body odor and body fluid of hundreds of peoples rented the cars! Why would buy 2020 rental car and 2023 cars are already out in showrooms? Prices are high and cars are sold AS IS, if you go to a dealership, they will treat you with respect and give you limited warranty on used cars. Management is unprofessional specially Jeff. They have only two people to deal with at this dealership No one else. if you face an issue, you are on your own. NO ACCESS to higher management or owners. I've tried to reach out to higher management to file a complaint and guess what? No access to higher management!! I've tried calling and sending emails but no response. I would steer away from this dealership. They just want your money. Go to Toyota / Subaru dealership put $500 to $1000 and get a new car with full warranty for the same price of used one. I waited to make review for this place because I wanted to see if the car truly had any issues. I bought a 2018 Blue Hyundai Elantra GT hatchback from them in July 2020. The two representatives who helped me were friendly, one of them was named Gary and the other was Edwin. Good customer service. Now for the car, they said it was fully inspected for any safety issues and it meets their own safety standards (don't know what that is because it was never elaborated). When I first inspected the car on the lot before purchasing, there was an air bubble in one of the tires which they did not notice until I pointed it out. It wasn't a problem as they replaced the tire. On November 31st, I was inspecting the car and realized that the CV Axle on the right passenger seat had been replaced. This automatically makes me assume that this car was originally in an accident and they never reported it or otherwise why would you need to replace the CV Axle on a two-year old car with only 30,000 miles? It bothers me that if this was the case, then why wouldn't you report it or let the customer know? The worse part out of all of this is that they replaced the CV Axle with a HEAVILY RUSTED CV AXLE. It's literally a part straight from the junkyard. This is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS as if the CV Axle were to fall apart while driving, then I would immediately lose control of my car. I don't care if you replaced the CV Axle, just replace it with A NEW CV AXLE, not one that's heavily rusted and about to fall apart which could seriously injure someone or cause death. UPDATE: Manager reached out to me and told me that they weren't the ones who replaced the CV Axle as it was already like that when they purchased the vehicle. They don't take apart the cars to be able to see the CV Axle. I am thankful for this clarification. Originally gave them a bad review, but now I have nothing bad to say about this place. read more

Sales staff are professional and honest - not pushy at all and immediately listened to my desires and concerns so that I didn't feel like I wasted any time. I just moved here from Hawaii and had planned to rent a car for a few days until I found something to buy. I ended up buying a great car from Dollar Car Sales. Lots of good to say but here are two highlights: #1 - my sales person (Edwin) offered to help me return the rental car once I'd made the purchase. #2 - when Edwin realized that I had rented from Dollar Car Rental - he talked to his supervisor, who contacted them and I got the entire rental (included gas) complimentary. Since I was already purchasing the car, the sales team didn't have to help me with either of those things. My car is great and reliable and I got a good deal and the gentleman that sold to me was extremely nice and helpful and I had no pressure to buy on the spot but when my license plates came in I had called earlier in the day to let them know that I was going to be swinging by about 20 minutes before close just to pick them up and then I would install them myself and there was zero communication that they were actually closing early and so I went completely out of my way to show up to their business just for them to be closed early while every website said a 5:00 close and they were lights off and out the door at 4:40. Extremely disappointed in the customer service will not be buying another car nor recommending this business because of their lack of communication. read more

This dealership was very easy to work with. Maybe because I paid cash. The problem I have is the salesman knew I was purchasing the car for my daughter . She went in to pay for the car accompanied by her boyfriend. The salesman would not acknowledge my daughter nor speak to her. She is a adult. He would only speak to her boyfriend. I even said that he is not buying the cat she is speak to her. My comments were ignored. When you are purchasing a vehicle I belive the salesman should talk to and acknowledge the purchaser. Literally no complaints. The vehicle was as described....beautiful, and beautifully discounted. My mechanic gave it an all clear a couple days after the purchase. The whole process was SUPER low key. They didn't even walk me out to the vehicle for the test drive...just asked for my license, gave me the key and pointed in the general direction which I LIKED. It shows trust. They gave me what I asked for my trade-in. And I was on my way. They are also helpful AFTER the sale is complete (i.e. if you lose your registration like I did, for example). I almost didn't want to write this review because I don't want everyone else flocking to them and buying the vehicles I want. I had such a wonderful experience at Dollar Car Sales. It was short sweet and to the point. We knew ahead of time which car we wanted and called the dealership asking about the price. I went to my financial institution to get the loan for the vehicle than went straight to Dollar. As I entered I was greeted by probably one of the nicest car salesman I've ever met. His name was Thomas Johnson (for anyone else looking at this review, he is your guy, he is the best.) I came in and he took my ID and had me sign papers for the test drive. We took the car out for a test drive and the vehicle was just so smooth. When we came back Thomas had all of the papers ready for me to sign. As I signed the papers he made sure to explain every paper I signed. Than I took the keys, we all took a few photos, and than I drove off. This experience for me was the most hassle free car buying experience I have ever had. I have never been more satisfied with a car dealership. Also for anyone who thinks old rental cars are a joke they should probably do some research. Rental cars are taken care of very well, they are always maintained, and they never had a previous owner. First of all, I HATE buying cars. I despise the entire process- the haggling, the test driving, the time alone when the salesperson talks to the manager...the B.S. Dollar Car Sales didn't feel like this AT ALL. First of all, Jim, the salesperson, was extraordinarily real and sweet. He didn't have all of the answers about the car I was looking at, but he was willing to find the answers (and he did). There was NO HAGGLING, which was refreshing. The price was beyond fair, the car I was looking at was clean and sound, and the warranty transferred to me upon purchase. It was lovely. The only reason for the lack of a star is the time it took for me to be able to get a key fob for my car- apparently, the car I purchased wasn't wired for a fob, but because it was written into the contract, Dollar Car Sales staff worked with me for several weeks to figure out how to get the fob I wanted (long story, but it took going to a dealership and then to a place that installs security systems- all paid by Dollar Car Sales). I would totally recommend going to Dollar Car Sales to purchase a car. But don't expect fancy and don't think about haggling. You can't. And it's really, really refreshing. read more

Was looking to buy my first car and with how the market is, I had given up on getting a new car. I found this place selling Corolla XSEs and was skeptical of the price but Gary was super nice and open about the prices! Before we even test drove it, we asked for the out the door price and he gave it to us without any secret fees or tricks. We were in and out in about two hours, maybe even faster if we didn't want to test drive multiple cars. (They had a lot of the same model and since they're used we wanted to see which one was the "best"). Great selection of pre-owned vehicles and even better value than competition. No haggle pricing undercuts the dealership and eliminates the unnecessary back and forth negotiations. This saved us at least two hours of purchasing a vehicle. They even beat our pre-approved financing which was already ridiculously low. We got to tour the facility and hand pick our 2018 Toyota Sienna as they had four models to choose from. All vehicles are meticulously detailed inside and out. I recently bought my 2016 Toyota Corolla s here in November. The salesman was great. The man told me it had a 10/10 inspection. Which everything looked fine.. Coming to find out, they sold me the car with a dirty air filter, 4 bad tires that were almost bald, a small crack in the windshield (that I thought was just a sticky spot until I tried to clean it) and bad windshield wipers (it was nice out when I bought it) so I wasn't aware of any of this. Car buying can be both annoying and exciting. Imagine our delight when we stepped onto the lot at Dollar Car Sales. We were greeted by Jim, a distinguished car salesman. Jim made us feel like we were the only people who mattered at that time. We phoned ahead to make sure the car was still available. When we arrived, the car was moved to the back so no one would purchase it prior to our arrival. It was washed and gas filled, ready for the test drive. The purchase part was very easy (we were preapproved before we arrived by our credit union). The entire staff were genuinely happy about our purchase and when the key fob was handed to us, they all were outside to wish us the best. I also want to mention the condition of the car. They were prior rentals and all In great condition. Pricing was below KBB recommendations. Before we left, an appointment was made for us to return the car a week later for them to compound and touch up any scratches at no cost. The sales reps were very friendly. There was literally zero pressure on me to buy. They took their time to explain all the questions I had since I was buying from out of state. (I had just moved to a different state). The manager was very professional and will stop whatever he was doing to address my concern anytime I walked into his office. Well I cannot leave this page without describing my purchase experience and the post purchase interaction with the amazing reps at dollar carsales. It all started with an extremely bad customer service at another rental sales place. I don't want to mention the name but they have a yellow banner and the name starts with an H. After wasting my time for 2hrs, I decided to try a different rental dealership. I have spent a months looking up where to find the great deals and I had talked to Edwin(one of the sales reps) over at the dollar rentals so I called him since he was about 5 minutes away from this other dealership. He was very nice and asked me to come in and test drive. He had promised to give me a good bargain if I end up liking the car and he did just that. It was definitely the best price for the mileage it had in the whole state of Washington. (Remember I spent 2months searching for a great deal) The best part of it... I was buying the car from out of state and wasn't sure what the requirements were with registration and was therefore unsure whether or not to buy it. Tom, one of the team members quickly got on the phone, called the dmv and solved all of my headaches right there and then. That level of personal interest made all the difference for me. Their customer service is impeccable! As if that was not enough, my home state dmv wanted the title sent to them before they will issue me the tabs. (Now if you've been here before you'd probably know how frustrating the process is or can be). Tom once again reassured me that he'll literally drive to my bank and hand them the title soon as they receive the check just so the process is accelerated. I felt like the weight of the world has been lifted from the shoulders. Anyways, this later part happened today and I'll definitely be back with a follow up review. Will let you know how it all ended but trust me, these guys know what they are doing and they are the nicest sales team I've dealt with in many years! I got a 2014 camry and I hope to get a 2015 or 2016 model from them in a couple of years! They are now my "go to place" for my cars. read more

FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!! Went into this dealer and was pleasantly surprised initially. We were handed a price list and test drove several vehicles. The vehicle we ended up deciding to purchase was also advertised on the sign out front. When we went to make the purchase the salesman and later the owner decided that the price we'd been given on the paper and on the sign advertised was "wrong" and the reason it was wrong on the sign in front was that "the sign was broken." the non commissioned sales person's are friendly. the cars are clean. bought a 2015 subaru forester in november. on an all wheel drive car all the tires have to have to be the same tread. one can't replace just one tire. if one is bad then all have to be replaced. make sure you check the tires. during the test drive go to a tire place and have them check the tread depth or bring your own depth gage & check all the tires. this place sold me a car with one tire almost worn out and all the remaining three were good. after just 4 months all the tires have to be replaced because only one is bad ! read more

Worked with Thomas after I found an amazing deal on a 2015 Chevy Sonic LTZ. With a deposit they held the car to give me a chance to look at it. They were all very friendly, and the paperwork was pretty painless. The only hiccup was due to my trade-in. I had actually gone to the DoL with my divorce papers to get my ex off the title *before* coming here so that I could be prepared, and the rep (at the DoL) there just told me that I could take the papers in and get it taken care of at the lot, although he did make copies and put a notarized stamp on them. Thomas wasn't 100% sure about it so he called someone but it turned out fine, luckily. So FYI, divorcees: if you and your ex aren't on the best of terms and you can't find him or won't find him to sign off the title, you can still get this done without having to pay to change the title over first! Anyway, I would highly recommend these guys and such great deals on the cars! read more
