A little reading goes a long way... There are signs in every bay explaining the $20 pre-authorization for card use, as well as a service number on both sides of the building. I've been coming to this car wash for over 10 years and have never had any issue relating to the other reviews. I think there may also be some confusion with the location, as there is another car wash right down the street. Everything works great here. If your vehicle isn't clean at the end of you wash, it may come down to user error. It is a self-service car wash after all. read more

This carwash sucks. Literally did nothing to my car and all the mud was stuck on it even after a 13$ wash. I swear I had to go to a nearby wash and wash it all over again to look clean and normal. All the dust and mud was stuck on the car. And it's not 1$ wash like their title on Google. It collects and counts the time. Has 3-4 different hoses that spray something different for each wash so that tells you where most of the time goes. Save yourself a headache and go to an actual car wash. read more

Gets the job done. Don't know why so many people are complaining. Your card gets charged 20 bucks but then gets adjusted with a day or two.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!! The self car wash off van buren is way better! $5 will get you 12 minutes but here at this horrible car wash it gets your maybe 5 or 6. When switching modes it literally takes like 10-15 seconds for it to start so you use up more time waiting than washing. read more

After 5 minutes of being at this car wash ,An older blonde women aggressively came up to me argued with me when i was washing my mothers car. I asked if she works here. Loudly and rudely she said "Yes" she wouldn't give her name. I felt very attacked. She then threatened to have the washer shut off. She wasted up all my wash time just to come yell at my mother and I. Thankfully after speaking firmly where other people can hear me i told her i was making a bad Yelp review on her. She walked away. I'm not sure what's going on with this dollar car wash. I like the wash, but the last couple of times, I used my debit card it ran for little less than 20 minutes, and it charged me 20 dollars. I guess by dollar car wash they mean 1 dollar per minute. I remember when using cash I used to get 16 minutes for 5 bucks. I guess they charge double or more for debit cards. This place was great. They have different hoses/nozzles for different wash features. The place was clean and they had a operating change dispenser. I'm picky on who washes my car...so I prefer on the most part to just do it myself unless I need a detail like a polish/wax. I've been going to the self service wash on Van Buren next to Wal-Mart. But this place is lot better and the equipment works better as well. Today at around 7am I paid $2 for 4 minutes. I have a large size truck and $10 did the job with adequate time. I believe the place on Van Buren is $2 for 5 minutes I believe. Give this place a try I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more

This place is always busy when I come by but I know why! Good machines, clean facilities and just a good set up! Get here early to avoid the lines. Came here on a Monday and still, just love this self car wash! Good flow of soap, all the cleaning apparatus worked amazing and always a great deal and a clean facility. I am an anal son of a bitch when it comes to washing cars. I have a black car so I know that these types of places will scratch the f*ck out of the cars. Well I had to do a wash as I got bombarded with bird poop all over my car and I can't go to work looking like someone bukkake'd my car. So I searched for a spot that is clean and worth going. This spot came up. Love that they have so many options with the air dryer and extra soap foam. Water pressure was already good enough to remove that bird crap, but I started using the foam cannon and let it pull up the dirt even more. I then high pressure washed the foam brush to remove any previous debris and crossed my fingers and scrubbed away. Car came out looking great. The air dryer was a nice touch to remove any of the water between the cracks. Will come back here again when I'm in the area. read more

I used about 3 bucks, not a problem, still makes it the cheapest, best car wash around. I love how much soap and foam the thing shoots out, u know damn well your car is getting supa clean! Place was clean, quiet and has everything u need. I did feel a little rushed for some reason? Still gave 5 stars because no one actually rushed me, I just got a vibe that I shouldn't do my usual take my sweet time, get my whip dialed all the way in thing. I always run the spot free rinse last thing. I can just leave the car wash without drying it and get home to a 97% dry spot free car, just a couple wipes here and there and she all good. read more

I love this carwash place! I always come to this location regardless of the city I move to and I sure do move a lot I always come to this one. Prices are good $2 for 5 minutes for carwash and from 11:00pm to 5:00am $1 for 5 minutes. Vacuums work great and only $1. Place is well maintained and has great lighting if you are a type of person who prefers to wash your car at night. A plus is that you'll get to meet Mr. Rich the night shift employee who is always working so hard to keep everything well maintained, clean and also very helpful. Very kind too. I do recommend this place! I almost forgot to mention this location has a blower in each bay to air dry your car in case you don't want to hand dry your vehicle with a shammy, cloth towel or whatever you might use to do so. read more

Lines are long but it's a great price and all the machines work perfectly! I hate when places have low pressure hoses or out of order parts but I've never had an issue like that here. They have a lot more amenities than usual self wash places do! They have a very strong blow dryer to prevent water spots, they have tire cleaning brushes as well. Vacuums are available and so are air fresheners and interior detailing sprays read more

Best car wash on this side of town ! My first time there last week . A lovely gentleman (RON) retired , who works there kindly showed me how to use all the nozzles and sprays . He proceeded to wash my entire car showing me easy to follow directions on the wall . . He refused to take any monies as a token of my appreciation . The place is very clean , superb products to wash (super sudsy) your vehicle , washing Yr tires , wax is amazing with the once over air dry . First, the Dollar thing is a gimic because the $1.00 deal is only between certain hours (late at night I believe). With that said, WOW! If you have the time, you can really go to town with all the choices for washing your car to get it super clean. Most of the do-it-yourself places I've been to have the one hose that has all the crappy dials that supposedly spray out the water/soap/wax/rainx/bla/bla/bla. This place has about 4-5 different hoses with different stuff on them to get the job done right. There is a high pressure nozzle that will do a soapy spray and just water, wax, etc., a soft brush that puts out an INSANE amount of suds for your wheels, a bigger, softer brush (again, tons of suds) to do the rest of your car. I couldn't even get to all the gadgets. On top of that, the maintenance guy was cleaning all the stalls and I pulled into one of the ones he wanted to clean. He asked me if I moved to on of the ones he had already cleaned, he would give me a free wash. So I moved over and he dialed me in with 6 minutes!! Only thing better than a clean wash, is a FREE clean wash. read more

I was drying my car and the lady that works there was very rude we told her we will move are cars she said we can't park there ok I understand then we were going to move them she says move yours cars!!!! So my buddy told her off I know that wasn't right but she should of been more like hey guys can't park here can you please move your cars this area is not a drying area see that would be more respectful I will never go there again I will be going to the other car was where I normally go now. I used to think this car wash was okay only because it was a dollar wash, but after today i much rather spend a few extra dollars than give my money to those people. I was drying my car and about ready to vacuum it when i heard someone arguing. It turned out to be one of the attendants that works there and this guy who had pulled up to wash the mud off of his pick up truck. all I got to say is WOW. amazing place and they are the only self car wash location who has amazing brushes unlike every other place. The brushes they use are a million times more delicate on your paint and extreme amounts of soap and water come out of the different hoses here. As told in another review, this place is hidden away and looks a little suspicious. I LOVE THE IDEA That they include a blow-dryer hose (not for the hair lol) for you to dry off your car. I've never seen a dollar car was have one. Anyway, a brush for the tires is also included as well as a foam brush and you water handle hose. Let me just say DONT UNDERESTIMATE THIS DOLLAR CAR WASH!!! The first time I came here I was a little skeptical as to how much I was actually gonna spend washing my whole car!! (Which is a full size sedan) but to my surprise I actually only ended up spending about $4/$5 bucks to wash it rinse it and blow dry it!! They have multiple setting such as a pre soak, tire cleaner, wax and much more!! They have stairs on the side of each stall so if you have a truck even if it's lifted you'll still be able to get up there and wash it!! The place doesn't look like much driving by but honestly you can't go wrong if your on a budget and or aren't able to wash your car or truck at home!! For a $1 it's 4 min and after 11pm $1 gets you 7 min!! This place is open 24/7 so no matter what your schedule is like you can always go and get your ride cleaned up! Once your done washing it and blow drying it you can pull up next to the vacuums and vacuum the inside!! They also offer detailing products such as leather interior wipes, squeegee rags and the little tree scent things!!! I'd much rather go here and detail my own car and pay $5 than go and pay $60 somewhere else. One other thing I really like is that this place is kinda tucked away and there aren't any bums wandering asking everyone for money!!!
