I used to come here as a kid with my dad all the time and they were always thorough with their work. I went today to get a wash done because my car was filthy from hiking with my friends and they did great on the outside, but the inside.... It looks like they rushed vacuumed and at that point I should've just saved my $31 and went to a drive through car wash and vacuumed it myself. Disappointed to say the least.

This was after the car wash.

Try and support local business but this is what a $40 car wash gets you, all the wheels look like this. Took this photo in the car wash parking lot minutes after the wash. I was so bummed I didn't even say anything I just left.

Management has gone down hill, and today was the last straw. I arrived at 11:30am on a Tuesday. 3 cars in line: Mine and 2 others. I snapped a photo of the only 3 vehicles in line. 2 of those vehicles were washed and dried, not mine. A 4th car who arrived later than us was also washed BEFORE mine. The manager is pictured drying that 4th car. As my vehicle came out of the wash, I asked the manager if he could have his staff finish my car before the 4th car. His tone was short, rude and unprofessional. He said he couldn't do anything special for me. He said, "What do you want me to do, move cars?!!!" I calmly explained that I wasn't asking for special treatment, only fairness. I explained how I arrived before other cars who were washed before mine, and showed him the photos. Instead of doing the right thing, he chose to escalate a calm and reasonable request. He said, "IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT YOU CAN WRITE A BAD REVIEW AND YOU CAN LEAVE!" His tone made me feel threatened. (I am a 5' senior lady) His voice. His mean nature. His total disgard for human fairness and kindness. I walked outside, gathered myself and left without having my car dried. I wrote this review and will take my business elsewhere. March 2026.

This was the receipt for my rim repair, which was completed on the same day my car was damaged.

This has changed since May and Tak sold, and despite being my car wash of choice, today was my last visit. My family has been bringing their cars here for generations, starting with my grandma in the 1970s, and we've been coming here ever since, under different ownership throughout the years of course. She trusted them as I do and did, and despite my occasional visits to other car washes for convenience, I knew that if my car needed a consistently good wash, I should go to "Main Street." Today, when I pulled in, it was a different guy pulling the cars around to the washing station - someone I've never seen - no big deal. When my car was delivered, I noticed that the rim was scratched, which was a new issue. So, when I asked what might have happened, the owner became very defensive, rattling off the daily car count and claiming they had never had a problem, blah blah blah - I respect it enough. I just wanted to figure out what could have happened. As we're talking, lo and behold, the little fella who pulled the car into the washing bay, where I suspect the damage was done, shows up and proceeds to tell me my car was already like that because he "saw it." So you're telling me, the guy responsible for vacuuming out the cars and pulling them around, also examined my rims to make sure they were or weren't scratched? Now that's service. I wonder if he studied the wear on my tires, too. I may go back to ask if it's time to replace them. He was the one who "ran" the rim into the track or realistically rubbed the rim while turning into the bay! What a guilty conscience, to have absolutely "nothing" to do with the conversation, then pop up out of nowhere as I'm talking to the owner/manager about the damage. I have low-profile tires, so the rims are more susceptible to scratching - I get it. But I know it wasn't there before. Additionally, the owner is not very clever because he tried to compare my car and tire profile to the car next to me in the drying bay, which was a lifted, off-roading style Jeep. He asked me why the track or person, or whatever it was that scratched the rim, hadn't also scratched the Jeep rim. I tried explaining that the lifted Jeep tires, which are aftermarket, are three times as big as the stock tires on my car, but he didn't get it, or was just being indignant, or trying to gaslight me. Yeah, there's a big difference, almost a 3-4-inch difference. This has never happened before, and the only difference was the guy who drove the car into the washing bay. When I was leaving, having just tried to reason with the owner to figure out what had happened to my property, and after reassuring him that I was not mad, a few of the guys who dry and detail the cars, who have worked on my vehicles for years, started apologizing. I don't know what for, considering they supposedly didn't scratch the rim. Don't apologize for something you didn't do - cowardly. They are nice guys, though, and have never done me dirty or left my car dirty, for that matter. However, they were probably apologizing for their wonderfully articulate and rational boss, who disappeared once I went to retrieve my car as it was finished. So here I am, with a scratched rim. Aww, poor me. It sounds so petty, but I still got a clean car out of the deal. Still the best and most reliable wash in Riverside, but with poor customer service and an aggressive manager, possibly including at least one, perhaps unethical employee. Because my car's tires are too low-profile, I'm unable to go back; I don't want this to happen again. It was a mistake, and I give the guys credit for a job well done, always, but I'm upset with the poor governance in the new owner's stewardship of an enduring establishment in Riverside. The funny thing is, the only reason I was at the car wash was because I had just gotten the scratches on the rims fixed this morning. So I wanted to end the day with a clean car - but now I have another scratched rim - incredible - my luck. And the front left, where the scratch is, was the only rim that had nothing wrong with it - not anymore. I'm just frustrated. I had just gotten my car fixed, and this happened again, literally the same day. Again, it would be my luck. Don't go there if your tires are low profile or if you're worried someone might rub the rim while driving it onto the tracks. Otherwise, go if you want a good car wash, but be cautious because the owners are known to be scammers. Just look at one of the last reviews! The business/owners couldn't even be bothered to give someone $10 back for a mistake that was their own, then asked them to leave. Why should customers or loyal patrons be inconvenienced or have to bear the burdens and costs of erroneous and careless mistakes by new ownership or a new employee? And another excellent and reliable establishment in Riverside erodes.

While never exactly stellar this car wash hasn't been the same after Covid-19, short staffed maybe? Inattentive in the middle washing stage I watched as my car and another missed two hand washing and first high pressure drying stages respectively. The finished look inside wasn't exactly B- work either. Here's how it works, the prices have gone up more than 20% since the last washing there, you pull up, tell whoever greets you which wash you want, and which flavor of air freshener. Any larger vehicle, especially SUVs and trucks, have automatic $3/4 surcharges, so when you factor in the tip at the end, nearly $40 gets spent. Waiting occurs mostly outside, and with the heat waves I recommend having cold water on hand. When they're busy it can take up to an hour from start to finish. My primary reason for going here is that it's in a relatively safer area than the washes on University, I've probably earned enough stamps once combined on several cards for a free wash. After that I'll probably look for a new venue.

Yesterday, I decided to give them another opportunity and paid $150 for a full detail on my Jeep. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. The detail was poorly executed and inconsistent throughout the vehicle. There were numerous areas where the interior dressing (Armor All or a similar product) was either heavily applied or completely missed. Instead of leaving the interior looking clean and uniform, it was left looking blotchy and unfinished. The most concerning issue was that the product was applied to the clear plastic lens covering the instrument cluster. As a result, the plastic is now cloudy and foggy around the edges, appearing to have been permanently damaged. Prior to the detail, the lens was clear and free of these defects. After noticing these issues, I calmly spoke with the manager, Louie, and pointed out the missed areas as well as the damage to the instrument cluster lens. Rather than addressing my concerns, he told me I was "too picky," refused to correct the workmanship, and declined to offer any type of refund or resolution. The situation became even more upsetting as I was leaving. The employee who had detailed my Jeep approached my vehicle in an aggressive manner and challenged me to a fight. Louie witnessed this interaction but did not attempt to de-escalate the situation. Instead, he repeatedly yelled at me to leave the property. I understand that mistakes can happen, and I would have been satisfied if the business had simply acknowledged the issues and made a genuine effort to correct them. Instead, my concerns were dismissed, my vehicle was returned in worse condition than when I brought it in, and I was treated with a level of unprofessionalism that no customer should experience. I sincerely hope the owner has an opportunity to review the surveillance footage and address both the quality of the work and the way this situation was handled. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.

The value itself was not worth 1299 for just using the one time wash, so I understand why they have membership programs. However, the customer service alone would make me choose never to have this type of membership. I was asked if I wanted the front roller to come down. I was very confused by this question because the representative then told me that it is not their liability if something were to happen. He was whispering and I couldn't really make out what he was saying to begin with. So I said excuse me I'm sorry what was that? And then he repeated the same exact thing "do you want the front roller to come down" and I was wondering, what does that even mean so I asked him I'm really not sure what that means so is there a reason that you give this type of disclosure then he said yes because if the front roller comes down and since you have a rack, there is a possibility that our equipment can ruin your car and we have to ask you so that we're not liable for it. And I said oh no, of course I would not want the front roller to come down if there's any chance that it could mess up my car. Needless to say, the car did look fairly cleaner however I do not believe that it was worth the value for 1299 for what I had to deal with in the moment! No thank you!
