Very nice place to go for snacks late at night employees are always nice I've never had a bad interaction with them it's a small store so you can't expect the biggest snack selection but for a quick stop you get a good selection, lays are pretty expensive tho but overall a nice experience read more

Normally I like all the cashiers and managers up here. I have been going to this store for years and spend at the very least 500 a week up there. They have a little girl cashier named Patricia who is horribly rude to all the customers. Today after she was rude to me, I asked Mavis( a key holder) for assistance and she literally was rolling her eyes. I'm going to call corporate about this. I always have problems with my digital coupons not coming off at Perris Dollar General Stores @ both locations. It's Dollar General's Digital Coupon's that aren't coming off. And on Saturday's the $5 off $25 digital never comes off first. And the digital coupons doesn't come off either.The Cashiers Claim it's nothing they can do. Talk about POOR & RUDE customer service. The girl with the straight brown hair, shoulder length, opening and closing the doors, (Wednesday night) needs to be re trained in customer service skills and not be street ghetto. I was there Wednesday night, and the girl yelled at everyone, she said, the store was closed and the register's would shut down right at 9pm. By the way it was 8:57 when she said the store was now closed. She was soooooOO MAD, and SOOO RUDE!! Hmm....the clock strikes 9:01, then 9:02, hmm it's 9:03, the registers are still working.One thing, don't lie just to get everyone to bring their items up. Lying says a lot about a company's reputation. Lies come from the Devil, just so you know. If it weren't for us the Paying customer, this store would be out of business. I do want to add though, months ago I was here at this store and had an issue with an employee there. Long story short, the manager during that time, the girl with the beautiful green eyes,took care of the problem. Hence, why I kept coming back. You need more people like her working for your company. Family baby shower BBQ get together on a Saturday and didn't want to drive far with balloons so I stopped by here to purchase baby boy and baby girl balloons for the party upon seeing their selection was very minimal they had a small section for party things and some blown up balloons already ready but they were already missing some air and not enough for our theme for the party, we asked cashier if that was all he said thats all they had, they also had some balloons on the ceiling on the side of the store which is false advertising since you guys don't have any of those in stock no reason to promote them in your store if you don't currently carry them that often which was told to us by the cashier. Prices aren't cheap at all unless you use their coupons actively. I drove out of my way to come out to this Dollar General because I saw them advertising an ad for 15% off gift cards. I planned to purchase 10 of the $25 Chili's gift cards. The cashier was unable to activate any of the gift cards when I went to pay. I'm not sure if she just didn't know how to do it or if it really didn't work. All she said was it's not working when I do it. She should have at the very least asked another person who worked there to give it a try. Also be aware that their gift cards must be paid with cash. Nowhere in the store do they put a notice of this. Luckily, I did have enough in my wallet but I was unpleasantly surprised about this when I went to pay. They just lost a big purchase and I do not plan on ever coming back. read more

messy, no one around to help with customer service, there was two cashiers but no counter space had people in line crowded on top of me and too close to the door so people coming into the store crowd in - too busy trying to watch and bag my merchandise as well as protect my purse and debit card info so when I requested cash back (which by the way the charge a fee as if its extra work to give cash back) I didn't get my cash back!! nobody answers the phone and the 'memory is full' and unable to leave a message!! The rating says it all. It can be a better place to shop. It has potential. The have good peoplw working there now compare to a couple months ago. Prices are good. I would love to go to this store more often, it has slowly gotten trashy and dirty..
