I randomly stop by for party supplies and I've never had a problem with this store but today I stopped by and after about two minutes in the store one of the workers got on the speaker talking VERY very loudly. She scared me! "Attention Dollar tree shoppers, please keep your kids with you don't let them wander around the store alone because it is not safe" that freaked me out! I thought maybe there was some creep in the store. Anyways she want on to say "and please don't let them grab the balloons because they let go of them and they touch the ceiling, and please make sure they do not open the merchandise until it is paid for" I don't know if it's a normal thing now but I have never experienced that before ever. Yes parents be responsible please but I don't think it's this crazy lady's business to lecture parents over the speaker that loudly. read more

This store is very unorganized. I was only there for about 15 minutes and saw three people stealing how much people on the sidewalk outside trash bags thrown all over the parking area. One of the employees were commenting about how she did not want to be there how she had to work very long hours and clean up after people destroyed the store. Yikes I bought a couple things. The ice cream tasted stale. I don't know I've been in really nice dollar trees before that did not remind me of this. Hope y'all get it together. read more

-First off, two weeks before Christmas, you need your managers to be capable of ringing up customers. It'd be nice if your floor people could run a register, too, but at the very least your managers should assist and not allow a line of 20 people. Oh sorry, we only have one cashier, is not acceptable when your line is going down the entire store. Don't close out all the tills in the freaking store at 8pm when you know you're gonna be busy until closing time. It's just common sense. Don't admonish your cashiers that they should "make sure they're making announcements starting at 8:30". What needs to happen is the manager on duty actually show they have some leadership qualities and ASSIST the cashiers with the operations of the store, like making closing announcements when they see their sole (excruciatingly slow and rude) cashier has a long line. -Secondly, you cannot lock an entry door to a store when you have customers in a building. It is ILLEGAL because it's a clear hazard in case of an emergency. Completely against fire code and I will be reporting this to the city. My 13-year old got bored and went out to the car with my phone and couldn't get back in, hence why I can't attach photos. I guess I really shouldn't expect more. I interviewed with DT about 15 years ago for an Assistant Manager position and the District Manager basically told me he liked me but that his Store Managers didn't even make the kind of money I had been making in my previous position as a Department Manager at another retailer. So, I'm guessing these people barely make above minimum wage. read more

As I walked in I stood in line to return items that I had tags on and a receipt. For just a simple bag of fake flowers and birthday Decour color that did not match. There was no one at the cash register #6 register but they had people withers and no lamp on. I went to #3 who had 2 people in front of me one was in a wheelchair and the woman was very kind to the man and helped out of her way so he could hear her and had all of his things safely in his wheelchair "ROCKSTAR CUSTOMER SERVICE " then me and she was interrupted by someone who cut in line about a return as I still waited. Then she asked me and I said yes a return as well. She called the manager 3 times on the speaker. Then she asked me to collect all my thing back in my bag that I had nicely laid out so it was easy for her to scan and moved to #1 register where she said the manager would help handle and she could take the customers in line. Makes sense right. Well the manager finally comes up and she's not paying attention she Immediately reprimands her coworker does not say hello to me shells from across the registers at the coworker tells her do not do that again I've got now these customers I've got a vendor you need to do it this way instead of that Way in front of the entire store not good management. She was more interested in the reprimanding her employee in front of us then even saying hello to the people that were standing directly iContact in front of her! Then she finally looks at me and then she goes OK well "what do you want!!!" I was an utter disbelief! I know I'm in a dollar store but if you are trying to make anything anything somewhat happy or be an employee of any type of organization you don't treat any customer that way and then I said what do you mean your employee already said we're here for returns she goes "Yah, well pick what you want we don't do return" are gather stuff and turned around and walked away. Federal Way, Wa! Some manager skills need to be trained to that Spanish woman. Promote the employee! read more

My wife and I went there this afternoon. The place is just a MESS. Got in a long check out line and we hear a black customer swearing at a black cashier that went on for 10 minutes screaming offensive obcinities at each other for 10 minutes. Store had many children in there too. That cashier needs to be FIRED! She continued the tirade even after the customer left the store. read more

Very dirty store. Parking lot is filthy dirty. Garbage all over garbage cans and around on the parking lot. Low supplies on plastic disposable tableware. Such as small clear cups. Mini silver spoons and forks And now you gotta pay for shopping cart!? What is management at this location getting paid for? Other Dollar Trees stores are way better at providing supplies when they low on stock. I came back twice within a month looking for clear small dessert cups and it's not available! read more

I generally love Dollar Tree but this location is dangerous. A woman walked into me today & decided it was my fault and then proceeded to verbally harass, follow and threaten violence against me. None of the employees stepped in to calm the situation down or help me at all. The situation made me very nervous so I just put my stuff down and left. The last 3 times I have been in this particular store there has been someone being aggressive. Not to me personally but stuff always goes down at this location. We have also seen employees get super aggressive towards customers & break covid mandates forcing customers to not socially distance. All of the other DT's around this location are so much better so I suggest driving just a little bit further especially if you are alone. read more

This Dollar Tree is great. I have been here many times to buy party supplies, random things for the house, toys for kids and cleaning items. The store is laid out well, with it easy to find what I'm looking for and the aisles are clean. They keep the store well stocked and tidy. This location is also the biggest Dollar Tree I've been to. The front of the store on the immediate right of the entrance consistently changes with the seasons, having either holiday party supplies and decorations or items that match the time of year. Right now, they have all of the aloha and graduation items out. It makes it much easier on the budget to come here for all of the one-time use stuff vs. buying it elsewhere. I recently moved and needed to buy a new set of nails to hang pictures. Instead of spending $10 at Home Depot, I came here to see if they would have any. I found a picture hanging kit with three different sizes of nails, plus picture wire, hooks and loops for $1. Here's a tip: You can't turn into the parking heading south on 99, so come in headed north or make a U-turn. read more

**UPDATE ON MAY 1ST, 2020: I got hung up on by Sheila when I told her how I had been discriminated against in her store for having a mask and asking people to stay six feet away from me. She started berating me and being verbally abusive saying I should have asked for a Manager then and there is nothing she can do for me AND I was charged for five items that I did not get....which is another reason why I was calling. Worse customer service ever! Needed to use the bathroom for an emergency. Manager told me that they had no public restrooms. I kindly explained that just recently I was prescribed a medication that causes me not to be able to hold it, and that I was going to wet myself if I didn't get to a restroom soon... She said that it was policy that I couldn't use the restroom unless I had a medical card that forced them to make it accessible. She had no sympathy what so ever. I had to go to another store and use their bathroom. Thank you super clips! Managers are supposed to be able to determine if there is a need for bending policy in emergency situations. That girl needs to be demoted since she obviously can't do that. I would give them 0 stars if I could! read more

I come to this location often, for crystal brand water, hair accessories while on the go to 24 hour fitness. During my visits, the store is often crowded with few cashiers for the volume of customers. However, the cashiers are friendly and helpful to their vest ability behind a register. The stores layout is different from other dollar trees so, it maybe hard to find some things. The outside is sometimes crowded with homeless especially at night but, it's in a convenient location being that Sonics is next door, planet fitness, axpresso shop and a auto store. read more

They have a wide selection of products the store was clean they have everything separate by categories they don't have a large customer service because even though there is a lot of people working (usually 6 or 7) but only one cash register open even though the cashier is fast you will always get a line because it's always only one cashier so I recommend going really early so you don't get stuck in lines also they do change product monthly because you will never find the same thing twice read more

So for the last several months I've notice the store is ALWAYS a mess. Floors are beyond just needing a mopping, broken glass, opened food bags all over the floor wet spills everywhere. This one in particular is my favorite one I've been to because of how clean it is inside. Typically though these places are gross looking inside and the staff is normally excessively rude. I like the staff at the store, we shop here often. The biggest problem are those of us who have to use a restroom frequently. The is the ONLY dollar tree I have been to that does NOT HAVE A PUBLIC RESTROOM. Please fix this as many of us will have no choice but to go somewhere else. It is embarrassing and inconvenient. This dollar store has become a glorified cheap toy store. Their selection of items other than toys is horrible compared to other stores I've been to!!
