Review 51/365 Day Challenge Had to come here since my local See's Candy shop was out of the Rum milk chocolate nougat that my girlfriend/Bday girl loves. I've came here several of times. It's a pretty big See's Candy and i believe it's the headquarters where they actually make the chocolates here. $ 35.50 per lb. Associate Veronica was really nice. Greeted us w some yummy chocolate to sample. See's Candies are always so yummy & nostalgic. They've been around forever, See's location is always so clean and nicely put together. It's the Christmas season and at work we received a few boxes of See's candies and I always go for the dark chocolate almond candies. I remember when I was a kid, my mom would bring home numerous boxes of See's candies from work as she was gifted them from various families of patients she took care of and of course the dark chocolate almond was the favorite pick then. I'm happy to report the product tastes the exact same from when I was a kid to now which is rare. I feel like a lot of products have changed over time but not See's. I forget that there's a See's in my neighborhood and recently was eating lunch across the street and decided to stop in to see if they sold just dark chocolate almond candies and they did! They were in one of those rotating display stands by the register and it was 1 pound for $16! The line kind of moved slow and I was in a rush and getting annoyed so once I got to the front I was just in a go-go-go mode. Patti O. rang me up and asked me how I was doing, but the way she asked it felt genuine. I haphazardly asked her how she was doing and she said she couldn't complain, she's selling chocolate all day so she's pretty happy. Something about that interaction instantly put me in a good mood and made me slow down. I smiled and then she looked at my purchase and told me good choice and then proceeded to put some samples into a separate bag and told me she put some milk and dark chocolate truffles in there for me. It was like my grandma sneaking me chocolates for later! I literally was not expecting to get anything from this store except those dark chocolate almonds but it made me feel like I was a kid again. Very good customer service and store is always pleasantly clean and aesthetically pleasant. I always grab the butterscotch lollipops since that's my mom and I'm go to but I also love their chocolate almonds and walnut squares. I'm sure they are all good just haven't tried them yet. read more

So who DOESN'T like See's?!? Never mind, I wouldn't want to know. Passing by this location, I commented it was the largest I had ever seen so I was curious..... This location is a fulfillment center for large organizations doing fundraisers and also bulk sales providing. Rich was a wonderful help in explaining that to me and in ringing up my order. They take Apple Pay for convenience and before I left I asked if I might sample. Rich asked me what I'd like. What?!? Usually they have the candy of the day, but here I get to CHOOSE?!? This is the largest See's I've been to. Plenty of space, lots of selection, and plenty of parking as well. I purchased 2 custom half pound boxes and Kandee (yes that is her real name) helped me and was really nice and helpful. I went for Mother's Day so she packaged everything in a pretty box and made it special. This is definitely a location I would to to again. read more

This is by far the largest See's candies location I've ever seen. I don't see the options are being more than your typical See's candy locations but the space is just huge. As always, you are promptly offered a sample as you shop. The friendly staff was knowledgeable and helpful and I was able to use the gift card from Costco easily. A+. read more

It's wonderful to have a Sees flagship shop not far from my house. It's a great place to grab some gifts. I recently traveled out of state for work and picked up some boxes of lollipops. Service was great and the store is beautiful. The smell is so nostalgic. Walking in makes me feel like a kid. I was given some samples and also purchased some coconut filled chocolates. We needed to pick up some gifts so we stopped in real quick - and so glad we did! After making our selections, we were helped by Patti O. at the checkout. Wow! She was a gem! So much fun to talk to - you can just tell that she loves her job! It's such a pleasure to do business in shops with a great product (you can't beat See's candy!) and awesome customer service!! Even though this isn't the closest location to our house, I would go out of my way to come to this location! It's so huge and bright and clean. And coming to visit Patti again would be a bonus! OUCH! I purchased a box of Soft Centers from Brea store just before Christmas. On Sunday 12/25, I bit into a piece of chocolate and felt instant pain on my lower right side of my mouth. I removed the chocolate and to my amazement discovered a piece of wood that was inside the chocolate. Now I have a horrible toothache and a box of chocolates I'm scared to eat. What's not to like with See's chocolate?! We went by chance bc we took our grandson to Sonics Drive Thru across the street. Well if you know See's it's a pleaser of a stand alone store. The employees are very friendly & are very customer service oriented! They've got a big store & good amount of parking. They have great pre boxed gift sets & of course the individuals you pick out yourself. Overall it was a fun outing for all of us; especially now there are less & less candy stores open for business. We stopped in after doing some shopping in the area and my fiancé and I wanted to bring my future in laws some sweets. Not only was she sweet and super personable but she made us feel like family. She took her time wrapping & chatted to us about our day. Towards the end of the transaction she added a few extra goodies and really went above and beyond with customer service. I came to this store this past Saturday night, trying to make it before it closed and had 2 minutes to grab a box of truffles and check out. I didn't want to keep any of the women there working later than needed and I think they could tell I was hurrying. Instead of shooing me out or rushing me, they were very welcoming and let me know which specials/discounts they currently had. The woman who rang me up asked which chocolate was my favorite and when I turned down the sample, she gave me a look as if to say, "I know you're just being polite and you really do want one" With little persuasion I agreed to get a lemon truffle. She then asked me what the person in the car wanted, as they saw boyfriend drop me off in front. It may seem like a little thing, but it's small observations like that that really make for a great customer experience and I was so impressed by her attention to detail and thoughtfulness! All the women working that night were fantastic and kept the atmosphere light and fun, making jokes and assisting me with my purchase. I honestly haven't had such a wonderful customer service experience like this in a while and appreciate their willingness to accommodate me! read more

Who doesn't love "See's Candies?" Starting with humble beginnings in 1921 with its first shop in Los Angeles using Mary See's chocolate recipes, "See's Candies" became an icon and is now loved by many, nationwide. Although it is not the fanciest chocolate around, the intoxicating aroma when you first enter their notoriously clean black-&-white shops will surely bring back some of the most delicious childhood memories for most. Even famed superstar "Cher" gushes over her former employer's tasty treats! Yes! It is storied that "Cher" once worked at "See's Candies"... & that she still enjoys their tasty confections today! The Anaheim location is larger-than-most, & is clean, has plenty of on-site parking, & a huge selection of goodies. It is also the only location in OC that kindly offers a "Sweet Savings" discount for police, fire, & other government agencies...just be sure to show your badge to get that discount. Although the staff are very nice, my favorite representative is "Rich," who is so funny & kind that he sweetens my visits almost as much as the chocolate treats, themselves! Thank you, "Rich," for always making my visits to "See's Candies" so much fun! :) Although the place can seem like a tangled mess during the major holidays, you can rest-assured --- it is very organized, there is plenty of stock, & they will get you in-&-out quickly. This is my favorite See's. It's a large, independent store that's easy to find with its own parking lot. The customer service at this one is beyond the rest--and that says a LOT since every location I've ever been to has been full of personable staff. When I'm in the area and want chocolate, this is my go-to. When I'm not in the area and I stop at another See's, I'm happy, but I think about this one. I love it. read more

Passed by this location last weekend and decided to come in to purchase a few items. This See's location is a quantity discount shop so if you have your school union card, there are a few items with discount pricing. Not all, but a few. I usually shop at the quantity discount shop in Hacienda Heights and I feel that there are more items on sale there than here. Unless pricing has changed in the last month. There is plenty of parking and the inside floor is spacious! The employee said that they can get busy and packed, thus why the check-out line/divider took up most of the middle of the store. Since Easter is coming up soon, there were a few items wrapped in Easter decoration. Received wonderful service here and it was even better when we got to choose our fav "free" sample. I placed an online order and received confirmation that it was ready for pickup. I go the next day to pick it up, and it's not even really that busy. There was no signs indicating where online orders are to be picked up so I just got in the regular line. There was a customer ahead of me with a very large order and the employee helping her just seemed more interested making a lot of small talk and wasting time! Other employees were disinterested in helping me. I was finally able to get my order, which was already prepared and waiting, but it took me 20 minutes of standing around trying to get some to go in the back and find my order! The customer service is lousy at this location. I know its the holidays, but I have been in this location before when it was much busier and the employees were keeping things moving along. I was completely disappointed by today's experience. read more

Probably one of the bigger See's Candies in the area and they seemed to be fully stocked almost all the time. The lines here move pretty slowly just because everyone's offered samples and people just take forever to choose their chocolates. I was in on Sunday, May 26, 2019 around 4:00 PM and the two clerks working were so slow. The male gentleman seemed like he didn't want to be there and looked irritated the whole time while serving his customers. The female had more happier expressions towards the lady she was working with, but once it was my turn to pick and choose, her happiness meter went down a notch or two. I honestly felt like she didn't want me to be there and felt a little rushed. For the others, they had offered samples in the beginning and gave them a piece or two extra. She barely offered me a sample once I was done ordering. Good products, but way too overpriced in my opinion. The workers here looked like they hated their jobs. I probably will be back once every year or two, but I would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

I have never had such a great customer experience as I had today at this See's Candies. I wanted to buy myself a one pound box to try the limited edition Dark Butterscotch Square as well as a few of my long time favorites, and I was helped by the KINDEST employee. Cindy S was such an angel. She helped me put together my box and offered suggestions based on her favorite candies. She was so easy to talk to, and I told her that this was my first time putting a custom chocolate box together and that I was a little overwhelmed, and she was so incredibly helpful!! If anyone from the See's leadership team reads this, I am BEGGING you to give Cindy S. some sort of recognition for her amazing customer service. Couldn't have had a better experience. read more
