The miniso toys and accessories store is located on the ground level of Culver City Westfield shopping center. It's relatively spacious inside compared to other miniso shops. The shift manager Angela (I believe thats her name) is one of the sweetest shift leaders I've ever dealt with. Customer service is really up there. Even the staff was extremely willing and patient with helping me (we love when a business values customer service). When I was looking for blindboxes, they offered to check the back and even help on determining which ones to get. Even helped me when my account was being glitchy. Out of all the Miniso's this is always the first one on my list to visit. The selection is good but because it's in a very busy mall you may not find it especially on the weekends! read more

Yesterday, I took a walk in Westfield Culver City and couldn't resist visiting MINISO. I know it's often considered a girly and childish shop, but I never miss the chance to explore it. MINISO always has products featuring famous cartoon characters, which I find really charming. I'm a fan of almost all the stuffed animals they have, even though I've never bought one for myself - I have, however, purchased some for my daughter. This time, guess what I found? An entire sheet of Super Mario stickers licensed by Nintendo! You have no idea what a huge fan I am of Super Mario. I was even close to getting a Mario tattoo on my left shoulder. The only reason I didn't go through with it is that I'm too afraid of pain. In addition to the stickers, I discovered some fantastic snacks at MINISO. They had Lay's chips with Chinese names on the packaging, many of which are my daughter's favorites, especially the cucumber-flavored one. I also came across Japan-imported Pocky sticks and other delicious snacks that you would absolutely love. The visit to MINISO turned out to be quite an enjoyable experience, as I found a mix of fun and nostalgic items along with some tasty snacks to indulge in. Girls' Shopping Day: While at the Westfield Mall in Culver City & nearly 6 hours of shopping for early holiday gifts & warm clothes before flying home for Thanksgiving, my friend & I stumbled upon Miniso! Such a cute store that immediately reminded me of travels in Japan & picking up cute items at the Daiso! Cuteness Overload: Super cute, colorful & so much to see in every category! Neat & organized, which I love! There's nothing better than a tidy store, along with items neatly lined up! Sweet bliss! Haha! There were cute plushies, yummy scented perfume, Japanese candy & snacks, travel accessories, cute stationery & plenty of other cuteness! Trust me, while walking through the store, "so cute" will come to mind, as I said out loud several times! Haha! Customer Service: Incredibly friendly! By the time we reached this store, we had shopped up a thirst! The guy at the register was so nice! He said great choice & I was going to love the lychee drink that I selected from the refrigerator! Wildly Delicious: After leaving the store & taking a sip of the drink, I was back within seconds to buy two more! Haha! The Lychee drink is wildly delicious! Also, reminded me of actually trying the lychee fruit for the first time in Thailand! If you love lychee, this is definitely the drink for you! The smell... The store products are fine itself, I go here to buy blind boxes and they always have a nice selection...but the smell, the smell in this store is always so bad, like a mix of baby diapers and portable toilets then trying to cover it up with some kind of aerosol cleaner spray. It's absolutely nauseating I've been to other locations and they've always smelled fine, but this location something is always gross in there for some reason. YAY! What a cute little store. The aisles and products are so tidy! Miniso reminds me of a Daiso. Price point is a little more. Starts at $2.99 and up. They have practically everything. From beauty, travel, stationary, kitchen, toys! I am not sure about the quality of the products but I had so much fun walking around checking things out. This maybe my new place to shop for gifts. Miniso is not a Japanese brand. It's headquarters are in China and really have nothing to do with Japan. You can Google it. This has already been debunked. So, the sign calling it a Japanese brand is a complete lie and frankly irritates me. Seems very dishonest to claim a nationality you are not. Where is your sense of pride in your countrymen? They try to copy the logo of Daiso and Uniqlo but do not share the same quality. They are also know for stealing designs from other stores. Is that surprising? This location is very messy. read more

Cool new Japanese designer bag and accessories store in the fox hills mall. Today is their grand opening in the mall. Think of this store as a small version of Daiso Japan. The employees are not skilled in using Apple Pay at all. This poses an issue when refunding using Apple Pay. It was a total pain in my butt and lengthy process unnecessarily. Because Apple Pay offer a specific ID linked to your banking card to prevent fraud & for some reason the manager was not able to comprehend this point . After all it was resolved. This is a cool store that is worth a visit - there are a lot of fun things in there worth checking out. The prices are low but the quality of items is actually good. I like Miniso products. That is why I pass by if there is one in the mall or anywhere near me. For the first time, we visited Westfield Culver City branch, and I bought most bags I saw. I included a white shell, pearly white clamp. It's a cheap one. But then after it was scanned and all, IT WAS NOT INCLUDED IN OUR TO GO BAG. I have the receipt, and I checked it, it was scanned and paid for. I don't know what to do as my wife said to call the branch. I hope they will do something about it. Or else, this branch will be the only branch that will disappoint me and my family. read more

One of the cashier was really rude to my daughter and I she's always there one time I bought cups she didn't even wrap them unfortunately one broke while I was shopping at target so I had to go back to tell her my cup broke because she can't preform a simple task that requires common sense . I went in to see what the store was about because I never seen it before and let me tell you the customer service was amazing! I was greeted loudly by this tall lady with long hair and long festive nails. I had so many questions and all employees who worked there either answered them or tried their best. I ended up spending $32 there on things I probably didn't need lol. At the register the tall lady let me know about the promotion they had going on and I got 3 free gifts YES 3 FREE GIFTS! WOW ! First time there and last. I walked by it's a cute store. Only problem there customer service sucks. No one greets you when you walk in. The employees are just talking to themselves. I tried asking an employee for the price of an item. She was just steps away from me putting merchandise out. Her response was she's working the bath department. Ok weird she's right behind where I am. So I asked if the other two girls talking in the back work there. So I can ask them for help. This employee didn't respond. So as I walked away and said Thanks for your help. You're very helpful. Wow couldn't believe it. Then the other 2 employees just chit chatting. Great all I wanted to know was the price of a lip liner. These employees clue less. By then I can't believe how horrible the customer service is. So I ask for a manager and then told me manager is gone for the day. Then I asked for the first employees name. One employees says I'm not the manager. Wow ok so I'm only able to get an e-mail address for the company. Cause I'm told there isn't a phone number for the store. I'm in disbelief as well that there isn't supposedly a supervisor on duty. Especially since no one has any type of customer service skills. Horrible experience hope they improve or they'll continue to get negative feedback. I wanted to make a complaint on the website and can't find a customer complaint department or number.
