Receipt and the rude associate's name
    Yelper X.

Stopped by this See's on my way to pickup my Target Drive up order, didn't realize it was almost 8pm and closing time. When I walked in with my hypoallergenic dog in her stroller, the associate on the floor gave me a look like "oh brother" and she looked like she wanted to say something about my dog but didn't. But said. in not the nicest or friendliest tone, "is there something I can help you with?" Almost made me feel like I didn't belong there for some reason, look + tone. Anyway, I was looking for something to get my boss for his bday. He liked the cashew brittle but I couldn't find it. So when I asked the unfriendly associate if they had it, she says, "do you mean the maple cashew brittle?" I asked, "is there another kind?" "No," she answered. Then why ask if there's only one kind? I ended up getting two boxes of nutty chews instead and she's like, "I can help you if you don't need anything at the counter." Like, "I can help you hurry up and get out." Never once offered me a sample, so I didn't bother to ask. See what I mean, rude and discriminating. I kinda threw down the boxes of chocolates and she kind of gasped and gave me a look. At that point I confronted her and basically told her how rude she has been to me from the minute I stepped foot in the store. And told her, if they were closing at 8pm, she should have said something. She asked how she was rude, feigning ignorance. Your tone was rude. Then she gives me an empty apology, oh if I was rude then I'm sorry. No you're not. All these stellar reviews must be fake and paid for by this store because they are not friendly, not kind, not giving away any samples. However, they are giving away dirty looks and snarky remarks. No thank you. I only bought the two boxes since she at least didn't make the chocolates. Won't be coming back to this store unless "Abrianna A" gets promoted to a new job outside of this store.

Love it Here, The employees are so nice here, the customers are happy. They're very generous with Samples as well. So nice a spot too in the shopping center.

I came here recently to get a couple boxes of candy for gifts. This store is really clean and organized, has plenty of inventory and the two women who were here when I visited were very friendly, personable and informative. I like that they have photos of what's inside the box along with a description posted above every boxed section. Another thing I liked - and I don't know if this is true of all locations - I was asked which chocolate from the display case I would like as a sample. In past visits to other locations they just handed me a flavor, not giving me a choice. After checking off positive ratings for the store and service, a fifth star would depend on whether or not I like their chocolates. As you can see, I do. Although I know some people who don't care for them (oddballs like my mom), I've been a fan for as long as I can remember. They've had a consistently good product through the years and even though prices rise over time I still think their boxes of chocolate are worth it.

This See's is one of the NICEST shops that we've visited thus far! From the window displays right down to the bright lights pulling us in - we were really "wow'd" by the inside as well. SO clean & organized; easy to locate everything & all of the deliciousness had a home. But let's get real... it's all about the GREAT customer service that sealed the deal. Very impressive! I usually gift up a couple of boxes for some special chocolate lovers every few months or so. With that being said, this was our very 1st time to this location which is closer to home & more convenient. However, we will certainly be back to keep this awesome & friendly See's in business!

    Grand Opening today!

The sweetness was well balanced, and the flavors were enjoyable without being overpowering. I probably would not go out of my way to purchase them again, but for those who prefer chocolates that are not too sweet or too bold in flavor, these would suit their palate well. I was able to sample several pieces with my kid although we primarily visited this shop to pick up the viral dubai chocolare (at least during the time when dubai chocolate flavor was getting hyped up). The service from the associates have always been great, as I've visited randomly since this location is close to Jamboree Rd and in the same plaza as a self car wash spot. It may be a bit pricey but it certainly is a unique chocolate boutique shop with lots to offer. It may sound very corporate, but I feel like this is the type of chocolate you would want to order to gift a bunch of office team members or to distribute as client gifts during the holidays. All in all, great shop with great chocolate!

We ended up finding an excellent one in Chocolate Bliss. Service here is top notch. We asked for help since it was our first time and were walked through the history of the shop, the source of the chocolates, and the drink menu. I really liked the blue matcha - much lighter taste than green matcha. Not too sweet either. Actually, everything I've tasted so far from this shop hasn't been overly sweet, which is great! There is also a tray of free samples of chocolate, which helped inform our decision to buy a slab of salted caramel pecan and 9 individual pieces of chocolate. The slabs they sell by weight and the individual chocolate they sell by box size. We haven't tried them all yet, but so far, really good! Everyone I interacted with was warm, patient, and genuinely kind. They're knowledgeable about their menu and very open to making custom drinks, which is always appreciated. That said, my experience fell short when it came to execution. I ordered a chocolate mocha, and while they were happy to make it, the result tasted more like watered-down coffee with syrup than a rich, well-balanced mocha. At nearly $9, I was expecting something more indulgent and cohesive. My advice: Chocolate Bliss seems best enjoyed when you stick to their signature or most popular menu items. The atmosphere and service are there -- with more consistency on custom drinks, this could easily become a go-to spot.

TAWDI appeared highly rated, but it was also basically the only choice. Walking in to Mickey Mouse greeting you, it's a very homely, organized, and oddly empty shop with some Middle Eastern influence. They are big on marketing for their Dubai chocolate offerings, which I did try. The lady who helped was very kind, offering us each a sample by the chocolate type we liked. As she explained how they make chocolate in the back daily, I had to inquire about popular selections and what some flavors were. Basically, they seem to focus on Dubai chocolates and have some imported goods from Lebanon. While I trust that they make chocolates daily, I have to question how much, what flavors, and what is being turned over, because the sample I ate and the chocolates I opened up later certainly had obvious chocolate bloom, and yes they were stored at an appropriate temperature and eaten on the same day. At the price these pieces were, they certainly shouldn't have chocolate bloom nor taste like old chocolate. The filling of their Dubai bar was nice, crunchy, and moist, but the exterior chocolate shell didn't really have a taste. I am fine with paying a premium for premium-tasting chocolate and often do it, but I would have preferred eating grocery store chocolate, honestly. I'm not sure what others are tasting or whether people reviewing TAWDI are actually into chocolate, but I was disappointed when I didn't enjoy these.

I placed an order for 30 white chocolate swans--a key part of the wedding favors--eight days prior to a wedding, with a confirmed pickup time of Thursday at 11:30 AM, the day before the event. When I arrived at the shop, the posted hours indicated it should have been open since 11 AM, but the store was closed and no one was there. I called multiple times and was given a series of excuses, including that her assistant had been hospitalized the week before. Eventually, Luisa arrived and continued to change her story, offering apology after apology and excuse after excuse. Only after I showed up in person did she actually begin to check whether the order could be completed. Several hours later, she claimed she could still fulfill the order and said the swans would be ready by 7 PM. Since we couldn't return that evening, we arranged to pick them up the next morning at 11:30 AM. Luisa said that would be no problem. However, the next morning, I began receiving texts saying the molds were damaged and she would not be able to complete the order. She offered only two swans--one for the bride and one for the groom. We ordered thirty. That was the entire point. This was a major letdown just before the wedding, and we were left scrambling. The owner demonstrated extremely poor communication, a complete lack of professionalism, and very questionable business practices. Once she accepted the order, she should have immediately confirmed that she had the capability and materials to fulfill it--not wait until the last minute. At no point was I told there might be a problem. This experience was an enormous disappointment during an important life event. I would never recommend Luisa Chocolatier to anyone. The owner is unreliable, disorganized, and lacks the accountability that any successful small business owner should have. I don't know how this shop is still in business.
