I've been a long time fan and shopper of See's and will continue to be so based on my latest experience. I recently visited this location after receiving a promo email for a free lollypop and 20% lollypop boxes for National Lollypop Day. I was wrongfully charged for the 'free' lollypop and wrote a quick email to corporate after looking at my receipt and realizing that I had been charged for what was supposed to be a free item. I was shocked to quickly get a call from the district manager, Holly, who wanted to make the situation right by not just offering a refund, but including a complimentary 1/2 pound box of my choosing. I visited the next day and was greeted so kindly, my husband and daughter with with me and all three of us were offered a lollypop on the house each + I was able to pick out my 1/2 pound box. The team member that helped us was so kind and apologetic of the situation and they were super intent on making it right. That kind of customer service is what guarantees that I will be a customer for life. read more

Stopped by this See's on my way to pickup my Target Drive up order, didn't realize it was almost 8pm and closing time. When I walked in with my hypoallergenic dog in her stroller, the associate on the floor gave me a look like "oh brother" and she looked like she wanted to say something about my dog but didn't. But said. in not the nicest or friendliest tone, "is there something I can help you with?" Almost made me feel like I didn't belong there for some reason, look + tone. Anyway, I was looking for something to get my boss for his bday. He liked the cashew brittle but I couldn't find it. So when I asked the unfriendly associate if they had it, she says, "do you mean the maple cashew brittle?" I asked, "is there another kind?" "No," she answered. Then why ask if there's only one kind? I ended up getting two boxes of nutty chews instead and she's like, "I can help you if you don't need anything at the counter." Like, "I can help you hurry up and get out." Never once offered me a sample, so I didn't bother to ask. See what I mean, rude and discriminating. I kinda threw down the boxes of chocolates and she kind of gasped and gave me a look. At that point I confronted her and basically told her how rude she has been to me from the minute I stepped foot in the store. And told her, if they were closing at 8pm, she should have said something. She asked how she was rude, feigning ignorance. Your tone was rude. Then she gives me an empty apology, oh if I was rude then I'm sorry. No you're not. All these stellar reviews must be fake and paid for by this store because they are not friendly, not kind, not giving away any samples. However, they are giving away dirty looks and snarky remarks. No thank you. I only bought the two boxes since she at least didn't make the chocolates. Won't be coming back to this store unless "Abrianna A" gets promoted to a new job outside of this store. read more

They are friendly, engaging, and are always eager to help you and answer your questions. By far, this is my favorite Sees location, which is saying quite a bit. I've been a See's customer for 40 years, so have visited many See's shops and I have to say that the Foothill Ranch location is always a welcoming, enjoyable experience. My 6 children look forward to individual, handpicked boxes of their favorite See's candies each Valentines, Easter, Christmas, and birthday, but as you can imagine it takes some time to prepare and wrap all these treats. The Foothill Ranch staff is always so patient in assisting with this task. This Christmas' special orders were hand packed by Nicole N. who was so sweet that I felt compelled to finally give this location the praise it deserves. I came here recently to get a couple boxes of candy for gifts. This store is really clean and organized, has plenty of inventory and the two women who were here when I visited were very friendly, personable and informative. I like that they have photos of what's inside the box along with a description posted above every boxed section. Another thing I liked - and I don't know if this is true of all locations - I was asked which chocolate from the display case I would like as a sample. In past visits to other locations they just handed me a flavor, not giving me a choice. After checking off positive ratings for the store and service, a fifth star would depend on whether or not I like their chocolates. As you can see, I do. Although I know some people who don't care for them (oddballs like my mom), I've been a fan for as long as I can remember. They've had a consistently good product through the years and even though prices rise over time I still think their boxes of chocolate are worth it. read more

This See's is one of the NICEST shops that we've visited thus far! From the window displays right down to the bright lights pulling us in - we were really "wow'd" by the inside as well. SO clean & organized; easy to locate everything & all of the deliciousness had a home. But let's get real... it's all about the GREAT customer service that sealed the deal. Very impressive! I usually gift up a couple of boxes for some special chocolate lovers every few months or so. With that being said, this was our very 1st time to this location which is closer to home & more convenient. Got word the other day about a grand opening for a See's Candies store close to home. Out and about, we decided to go by and take a look. First, in the parking lot was a full original 1930 Model A car and a old See's delivery side car Triumph motorcycle. These were great to see and check out, as they were from the beginning days of See's.....kept in great condition. Upon entering the store, I was met by a friendly and eager staff who offered me some samples of, not only their chocolates...but their nice hard candies. I must say after looking around for a bit, I noticed there was a very nice display of these delectable treats for all types of taste buds to be found here...and very friendly staff to boot!! After teasing Foothill Ranch residents with temporary seasonal stores in the Foothill Ranch Town Center, this store was FINALLY erected as the permanent location. OMG, thank you, See's. The days of trying to guess where and when the temporary store would pop up and open in this shopping center before Valentine's, Easter, Halloween, Christmas, etc., are over. The staff here are always great. Friendly, helpful and always readily offering free samples. After years and years of being a See's customer, it was a staff member here that told me that I didn't have to accept the free sample chocolate offered to me, and could choose any one I wanted from behind the case! Whahhttt?!!! All these years, I have been eating walnuts when I really didn't have to?! Not to seem like an ingrate over the awesome free samples offered up each time I walk in here, but I could have eating a free Bordeaux or one of the many truffles, I love here, like blueberry? Sheesh. Anyway, I am glad to have finally this key bit of information given to me at this location. This store has always been amply stocked when I have been here. I am always here before the holidays to stock up on gifts. I would advise signing up to receive emails from them as you receive advanced notice of upcoming new products and discount coupons via email. After a 30 minute drive on the day of, the staff said since it was out of stock, they went ahead and cancelled my order without a prior notice. What's the point of ordering online if the items aren't even reserved for you? I stopped at See' Candies, in Foothill Ranch Town Center, on Portola Pkwy in Foothill Ranch. The place is nice and clean, and the cashiers were very helpful.
