These days, I am unfortunately down to one or two visits a month, but I still walk in with the same feeling: what completely random, wonderful thing am I going to find today? And oh, the things I have found. Fizzy Harmless Harvest. Remedy chocolate smoothies. Shaka Harry momos and kheema matar. Navitas goji berries. Imagine chicken bone broth for half the usual price. Really good sauces, nut butters, cheeses, and wines that make you wonder why you have been paying full price elsewhere. Of course, the trick with Grocery Outlet is that when you find something you love, you cannot calmly tell yourself you will come back next week. Next week it may be gone forever. So you buy three, feel slightly unhinged, and later congratulate yourself for having excellent judgment. It is unpredictable, ridiculously good value, and still one of my favorite places to grocery shop. Every visit feels like a scavenger hunt, except the prize is dinner.

It was clutters of stuff and we were the only customers there at the time. To be honest, some of the stuff there probably should be just thrown away like worn out shoes and books in a shed that probably has mildew on them. Each time I did find something to buy, the owner kept on checking on her phone for a similar item's price. Apparently, most prices here are not set and the owner decides once the customer asks. I saw some hats I liked in a box marked $2 each, she told me that only some of the hats were that price. I found a kid's sweater that was from the 1990s and showed wear, she wanted $10 for it because it was apparently designer. Seriously?!? Also my sweetie wanted to buy a doll for his mother for mother's day and again the store owner had to compare pricing for it online. She gave him a price but would not budge on the price, my sweetie and I debated about it...was it worth it? Could we find another collectible doll at a different thrift store for less? Well my sweetie ended up buying it. His mom loved it. But we both think there are better deals elsewhere. I also have a feeling that the owner here sizes people up to see by how they dress and act to determine the price she would sell the item to them. This small thrift store is hidden in the back behind other businesses. I get the impression that most items for sale here have been in the store for years. There is an awesome collection of vintage phones but who wants an old landline phone? There are not only worn out shoes, but clothing that has seen better days. The aisles are cluttered, narrow and cramped. It is difficult to walk through them. Also as there is no fitting rooms, there should have been at least a long mirror to see yourself while trying on clothing, but there was none. When you buy used clothing, you are taking a huge chance as clothing can have shrunk, have unraveled stitching, stains, alterations, cigarette or sweat smell, have holes and other issues- trying on clothing is the best way to examine clothing before purchase. There is no way to do that here. I would not even know where i could simply stand with a few chosen articles of clothing to try on over my own clothing here. As I said, my sweetie and I were the only customers in the store at the time. I get the impression as well that it does not get much business at least lately. And yet, her prices are generally high. I do not even know how a store like this one can stay in business!

Daiso serves a great niche providing good quality & innovative selection at a very attractive price. A lot of reasons to go here versus a Homegoods or Target.

Cashier lady on the floor tonight told me she didn't like the "G" word and that I should say thank you assuming the stuff he bought was for me and inserting herself into my conversation. To her I will say god damn you and don't insert yourself into other people's shit. I should've told you off then and there, have a terrible night. So rude to just say that to someone who you don't even know after I was just trying to pay for the person I was with. Terrible customer service for this.

Just put it on and it'll snap in place because it is elastic band. So no adjustment needed I will come back when I decide I need another bracelet!

They sell whole bunch of stuff, kitchen ware, medical stuff like masks, splints, pads etc. It gets REALLY cold inside, no heating whatsoever so make sure you bundle up so you can enjoy shopping. They also have small appliances, dresses, tiles, and more. I think it's a family run business. Everyone is super nice and helpful. They accepts cards for payment but cash is king here. Make sure you go to the ATM prior so you get an even better deal!

This is a really small place, they don't have a whole lot of selection, and the selection they do have is limited and honestly didn't find anything worth buying at reasonable pricing. Not entirely sure how this place manages to stay in business, being in a hidden area. You only know about it if you see it online or someone tells you about it.

Prices overall is lower than retail (sign said 20% off for clothing) but definitely not like 50% off. I didn't find anything I wanted but will keep in mind next time need to do some white elephant shopping. Pretty chilly inside so dress warm if it's cold out. Lots of security cameras everywhere.
