Second time here. Breakfast on a Sunday morning. We've tried two different eggs Benedict's here. Both have been delicious. Eggs were perfectly poached. No runny whites and a creamy yolk. My love and I have been here several times now and we really enjoy coming. My favorite is the Florentine Eggs Benedict with turkey sausage. They have given me perfectly poached eggs every single time. The hollandaise sauce is delicious and the turkey sausage is surprisingly incredible. Altogether, it's one of the best Eggs Benedict dishes I've had. Other things we've tried: Hash Browns: usually very good. Once the potato texture was very grainy for some reason but the first time they were so good, I only added a little extra salt and pepper, the flavor was so good they didn't need ketchup or hot sauce at all- although a little Tapatio is money. Corned beef hash: Good but a little on the salty side Sirloin Steak: This is the one dish we had a real issue with. The quality of the meat is so poor. When cooked through for the elderly lady next to us, it was so tough she couldn't cut it let alone chew it. We were sharing and prefer our meat on the rare side so it was edible but my love could tell from the flavor that it wasn't fresh. Thankfully when he mentioned it to the waiter, it was removed from the bill. The service has always been excellent. read more

I ordered a Ham & Egg Sandwich from Dollis, I had asked for hollandaise and an over medium egg for my sandwich, and that's exactly what I got!!! The egg was nice and runny but still fried, the hollandaise wasn't just a small spread it was on both sides of the buns and the hand wasn't some cheapy slice, it was a nice thick slice like the kind you get from the butchers!!! Great menu! Great service! Food has high points and low points, but was very nice overall. Clean place, nice layout, restrooms looking a little old but still clean. I had Eggs Benedict, of which they serve three kinds. All Day! Breakfast All Day! Eggs were perfect! Real piece of ham. Hollandaise was pleasant but didn't blow your socks off like when I make it from egg yolks and butter and lemon juice. Daughter had a Mexican breakfast dish. She loved that the corn tortillas were grilled to heat them, won't order them if they aren't. She thought it a bit dull even with the onions, bell pepper, etc until I gave her the little serving of fresh salsa that had come with the Eggs Benedict (really?) and warned her it was very spicy. She agreed it was very spicy but said it took the dish up several notches. Guys, serve salsa with the machaca, not the Benedict! Wife had chicken fried steak with mashed, etc. The gravy was wonderful. Let me note I had a side of biscuits and gravy, with the same gravy. It was wonderful. The biscuits, not so much. This place is great for a dinners I would certainly come back again when all I want is good ol' traditional breakfast and not have to wait the lines for other places. Ended up here because the wait was too long at flappy jacks and I'm glad I did because I just found my new favorite breakfast/lunch spot surpassing Flappys jacks even. Ordered their steak breakfast special which came with choices of pancakes, biscuits & gravy or toast. Their pancakes is also a hit. Went for lunch. Fish plate was below mediocre; left all the fries because they tasted like they had been fried with old oil. Tried to get a salad as a substitute but waitress said it could not be substituted, seemed very inflexible. In my opinion Prices were high for the quality of food they provided. Unfortunately on my last visit the cost of coffee went from 3.50 to 4.50 that seems not only steep but a little gouging. The entrees are reasonable but not cheap and the mimosas went up. OK I'll go with it. But the coffee price as a senior bugs me. I will still go there but not as often. read more

The Food here is awesome! Compliments to the cook! The Quality's is always fresh and each plate is well served. I've tried everything from their pancakes, ham steak, French toast, corn hash and I've never been disappointed. The coffee is great too. Very clean and the service is great. read more

5 stars for our first visit to Dollis. On our order: BLT on sourdough with coleslaw for my mom in law, a 2 meat breakfast skillet for my husband and Moco loco with pancakes for me. Everything , Service-by staff , my only problem with my moco loco is a personal preference: I've never liked the taste of a charbroiled meat patty and it needed a little more seasoning so next time I order this I'm hoping that I can request that my meat patty be pan fried and seasoned with salt & pepper instead. Hopefully that won't be a problem. Will definitely visit the restaurant again to try other items. It's a large restaurant and very well kept & clean. read more

Have been here a few times food is awesome too bad service is terrible.looks like waitresses are new and haven't captured the essence of taking care of tables never offered to water and had to chase them down for coffee refills and then just left check on table and never came back had to chase down to pay also does not seem like a team atmosphere as waitress don't help each other cause when asked the one who wasn't our waitress for more coffee she just ignored us went and filled her tables and never mentioned to other waitress we were waiting on coffee.its a shame cause food is really good and would like this restaurant to make it read more

I found this little restaurant on YELP by reading the reviews, and looking at the pictures. So my husband and I decided to drive over there yesterday for breakfast. OMG! The server was amazing! He was so accommodating and the service he provided was great! When I placed my order and asked if I could make a few changes to my meal, he said NO PROBLEM! When I got my breakfast, it was made exactly how I had requested. Sometimes restaurants don't want to make changes to the menu items, but this restaurant was so sweet, so customer oriented and so eager to please their customers. But it was the fresh fruits and the homemade zucchini bread that was served with my meal that put it over the top! OMG! Everything was SO yummy! My husband ordered a breakfast burrito which had eggs, bacon, potatoes, cheese and fresh sliced avocados. It was a nice size burrito and he ended up taking half of it home. We will DEFINITELY be returning. My only regret is that they close early. I really think they have a winning combination: Great servers, great service, very customer oriented, great food and the restaurant is such a comfortable atmosphere to actually just sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee and good conversation with friends because it's so relaxing. Got breakfast here two Fridays ago. Service was extremely slow since they only got one server working. The server didn't bring all that needed to eat the food that was served. For example, oatmeal was brought out without milk, brown sugar, raisin or the banana I asked for. I kept waiting for these toppings until my oatmeal was cold and I no longer could wait.
