My only wish is they served fresh strawberries instead of strawberries in syrup. I wanted to add fresh fruit to my son's pancakes. They do give a healthy amount of strawberries and whip cream as a side. So, if you like your strawberries in syrup, they'll give you a lot of it. read more

I use to come to this place when it was a sizzler, when they changed to Dollis I was a bit skeptical at first. The first time I tried it was when they had just opened for indoor dining last year right before we had to go on lockdown again so I felt I didn't get the full experience. I had went back about a week about and I have to say I was impressed with the service and the food was tasty too. Home fries were flavorless spud slices with a few green & red pepper pieces; disappointing pork chop rectangles, way too salty. It was all so average and with a $15.00 check? I came back for a second visit to try the pork chops. They were a medium thickness, not the very thin kind. They were cooked through, yet not dry - perfect juicy pork chops! Service was great as I had other servers check on me, even though it wasn't their station. The food was delivered promptly again, even though there were more customers than yesterday. read more

This place has the worst customer service ever. They do not bother to greet people when they come in. We sat and waited for 10 minutes without anybody taking our drink or food order. A bigger group walks in and they start taking their order, definitely walked out. Thank you for the terrible experience. read more

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed our breakfast. Our server was Lucy and she was extremely friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that they don't have a vegetarian skillet on the menu, but they were very accommodating in creating one for me and it was delicious. We came here to try a new place other than the normal breakfast places like Denny's, Norms, and IHop. I would rather much go to those instead, at least we get good service and servers who are attentive and don't take forever to come. the minute we walked in we were greeted with 3 faces of confusion and waitress with attitude asking "Do you want a seat?" No we want the floor. We ordered 4 entrees for the family and we were all disappointed. The steak was so chewy and hard to chew. The corned hash was so salty and just out right gross. I'd rather eat the canned one than theirs. On top of that, two of our entrees were supposed to come with the "house fries" and came with hash browns instead. Upon looking at other diners who received the fries, they're basically hash browns but with bigger potato chunks. After finishing our meal, our server (it was an Asian girl full of sass and attitude) was too busy on her phone to notice that we were waving her down so that we could pay for our overpriced meal. This place has gone through some changes in the past years . It use to be a Sizzler and now it has become a great American family restaurant . It is clean , nicely decorated , properly staffed, and has excellent quality of food . The chickens fried steak is excellent , and also the pancakes . I don't like Denny's or IHOP pancakes so it means a lot to me that these are great. I also had the huevos rancheros and they were good. Tje last three visits the kitchen has been a problem, either screwing up the orders or ruining something that was a favorite. Your overuse of bad bacon has made me want to give it up. My love and I have been here several times now and we really enjoy coming. My favorite is the Florentine Eggs Benedict with turkey sausage. They have given me perfectly poached eggs every single time. The hollandaise sauce is delicious and the turkey sausage is surprisingly incredible. Altogether, it's one of the best Eggs Benedict dishes I've had. Other things we've tried: Hash Browns: usually very good. Once the potato texture was very grainy for some reason but the first time they were so good, I only added a little extra salt and pepper, the flavor was so good they didn't need ketchup or hot sauce at all- although a little Tapatio is money. Corned beef hash: Good but a little on the salty side Sirloin Steak: This is the one dish we had a real issue with. The quality of the meat is so poor. When cooked through for the elderly lady next to us, it was so tough she couldn't cut it let alone chew it. We were sharing and prefer our meat on the rare side so it was edible but my love could tell from the flavor that it wasn't fresh. Thankfully when he mentioned it to the waiter, it was removed from the bill. The service has always been excellent. read more
