Very fun old school Goodfellas vibe in this place almost like you're in a Scorsese movie, in the middle of nowhere Carson. Food is actually tasty but comes in huge almost unnecessary portions. Prices are a bit steep but because of the portion size but I did literally have pizza and salad for dinner the next 2 days and it was still tasty. I watched the Dodger game, drank a pitcher of beer, had pizza, lasagna, salad with a very tasty blue cheese dressing they say they make in house. They should bottle it and put it in markets if it really is their recipe. Overall a great experience. Wait service was decent, food came out swiftly, bathrooms are like being in the 70s but clean. The pay phone in the back is a blast from the past and made me chuckle. Will for sure be returning here. Theresa was a breath of fresh air and was very friendly. She informed me that her father Domenick Jr had recently passed away told me the entire story of how the restaurant came to be. She sent me home with a complimentary side of the blue cheese which I was super grateful for. Beer was super cold and not flat. Food used to be good. I got fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, it had no flavor. The young kid they had working needs to be trained how to talk to people and not just point, he had a mask on that only covered his mouth. The ladies who were taking orders mainly sat at a table and on their phone,the kid kept coming to see if we were ready to pay,after we paid he came up to us asking if we paid yet. Just left here and what and awesome experience. The customer service is outstanding. We had pizza, manicotti, sausage sandwhich, calzone, Alfredo with chicken and broccoli and a burger. I ordered a Domenicks special pizza yesterday and it was amazing... the crust was baked perfectly and the pizza was loaded with toppings, also got their antipasto salad... I've eaten here a lot but mostly order the chicken or their pork chop plates. Oh and when you go don't forget to order the antipasto salad... best salad I've ever eaten... Service at this times pre-virus was always great, the ladies that work there are always smiling and treat you like family. Yesterday I ordered by phone and when I got there I called them to tell them I was outside in my car and they brought out the food in less than two minutes, the lady was wearing a mask and had gloves on.. I had a yearning for clam Luigini. Called at 1130 am. Made order for my desire for garlic butter pasta. Food ready on time. Shocked that my alacarte was over $17 at 11:30 am. Had to actually beg for a garlic bread slice. And to find out this huge order of pasta came with 0.35 oz oz of packaged parmesan cheese. Wow. You can see from the photo, NO clam, but maybe mushroom (although I was asked if I wanted white or red). Regardless, I was overcharged. Experience says they are out of biz, and screwing the customer. Ever since Dominick Sr let Junior run this place, it has gone downhill. And im talking about since the late 80s early 90s. This was once the go to place in the area when the old man ran it. Everyone knew him and the food was amazing at that time. But after he passec on snd Junior took over, that was the end of it. Last time i was there, i had a problem with my order and it was not very busy. Dominick jr was at another table with regulars and ehen he heard my concerns, he headed to the kitchen area. When i could not get things resolved, i asked to speak with him. I was told he had left by a staff member but i clearly saw him in the kitchen and pointed him out. Nevertheless, he avoided me snd the whole situation. Now mind all of you, i started eating there in the late 1960s when his father was running the place, which is why everything was so much better then tan now. Needless to say, i have not eaten there since snd have never gone back either. Frankly, im surprised they are still in business. If Dominick Jr still owns the place, i hope he reads this. He lost lots of loyal patrons who grew up eating there and remember the atmosphere his father brought to the place. It will never be the same as it was. Zero stars across the board. If you still own the place Dominick, you should reflect back to the days when you were bussing tables and how your father treated his customers. read more

For nostalgias sake i decided to order the same again and wife ordered the seafood linguini which is similar. To my dismay the order looked and tasted like it was sitting in water. This place has been around for over 50 years, and it's still bringing in many customers. This was my boyfriend's favorite restaurant as a kid, and he still raves about their food now. I tried their spaghetti with meat sauce. My boyfriend and his dad ordered two of their sandwiches. Pasta comes with a soup or salad and garlic bread. Some of their sandwiches come with a side as well. Overall, it was okay. The amount you get per order is enough to feed you for two meals! (Or at least one and a half haha) After they brought us our food, they forgot about us. There was no refill of water or extra napkins and we weren't asked about another glass of wine. They seemed to forget about us after they brought us the check because we sat there for a long time before we decided to walk up and pay at the to-go area. There's nothing extraordinary about the food, it's just good food to have if you're in the area. My friend has been coming here as long as he can remember and loves the Italian sub. So we went today and although the sandwich was good it wasn't great. It lacked oil and vinegar. So I asked for more and they don't really use vinegar. He gave me their Italian dressing. Well it wasn't the same so I'm not convinced. We also wanted to try their pizza since some of the reviews we iffy on that. I ordered a personal size one with pepperoni, Italian sausage (was crumbled not chunky like I like it), black olives and mushrooms. You need to order it well done and it happened to be thin crust so that was nice. It wasn't great but it was okay. The sauce lacked flavor. I'm not talking about more salt on just more seasoning flavoring but thats just me. We also got cheese bread. I would say the bread is the best thing there. Also the potato salad was good but they don't even make it there go figure!! But the best best thing there was Adrian our server. Hands down made the food taste better.
