For my first time trying Fat Tomato Pizza I came in to eat late at night! The gentleman working there was running the place by himself! The place was clean and well kept with nice lighting and an easy to read menu! The service was a 10/10 he was so kind and helpful! I ordered a large cheese pizza which is 8 big slices , spaghetti with meat sauce and a 12 count garlic knots for only $44! Everything was ready fast and looked amazing! He showed me all the food with pride and asked me what I thought. After a long day working a double shift the kindness he showed me truly made my night! The food was absolutely fantastic! I got my order to go and enjoyed everything together with my girlfriend! I can say we both love this place now and are itching to come back for more and to try new items! Man I hate leaving negative reviews, but this needed to be said. This is my second time here, both times I got the meatball sandwich and this time I also got Korean dumplings (which I enjoyed). The first time, I liked it. The sandwich was good, and the pasta salad was amazing. This time was a completely different experience. First of all, the pasta salad was bad. I don't mean it wasn't prepared well, I mean it was SPOILED. and it wasn't like recently spoiled, it obviously went bad days ago. The smell was horrible. Like straight up chunky rotten milk. At first I thought "maybe I'm just getting sick and my sense of smell isn't reliable" so I tasted it and it was absolutely disgusting. As spoiled as can be. The dressing, the cheese, the whole thing was 100% bad. As for the sandwich, the bread was stale, the meatballs were obviously frozen and reheated (probably in a microwave). Not horrible like the pasta salad but not good either. The dumplings were actually pretty damn good. but after spending 30 dollars for this meal after tipping them, I can't believe this is what they served me. The inside seemed dirty and smelled musty too. That's normal the sort of thing that I can easily write off as long as the food is good, I grew up very poor so a little dirt isn't gonna kill me. But that combined with the fact that they're serving rotten food tells me nobody should be eating there and the health department needs to pay them a visit. Terrible. I've never had such a bad experience with takeout before. I thought about bringing the pasta salad back to show them and complain, but what would that do? I don't want a free meal, I'm never gonna eat there again. I doubt they would switch it with fresh pasta salad. If they're already selling rotten food, they know it. It wasn't subtly bad, it was so bad that the entire room I ate in smelled like rotten milk. read more

Stopped there for the first time ever today. It's a small and modest looking restaurant but those are the best ones sometimes. The man working there was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Italian submarine sandwich, it was about 12 bucks after tax, it was absolutely delicious with actual fresh ingredients that you can taste. The pasta salad that comes with it was missing a pinch of salt and pepper but, I added some at home as it was a to go order. I came here late one night. It was the only pizza place open in the area. And I was craving pizza. I decided to try the vegan cheese pizza. Plenty of toppings. The service here is good. A really cool guy. Friendly and helpful. There's some seats inside to dine in. Which is cool because not many pizza places have a dine in arena any more. Got fat tomato works (signature) on a late night - soggy with almost zero sauce, definitely one of the blandest pizzas I've came across. A slice of bread with some tomato sauce has more flavor than this. All you taste is salted undercook'd cheese. Any neighboring dominoes / little ceasar will blow this out the water at half the cost. Not to say the store owner asked for tips when the order was picked up, which just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Do people expect tips for handing over their pizzas nowadays? The one positive about this store is that it opens till 1am. You're much better off going to a local Ralphs (also closes at 1am), grab a frozen pizza and throw that into the oven and it will absolutely turn out much better than whatever this is while saving you $$$. Went here after a late night hockey game. The pizza was decent. It was actually a little greasy, but I was hungry and they split a large into half bbq chicken and half pepperoni. I was visiting a friend in the hospital in Torrance, CA on Super Bowl Sunday. I ordered pizza and chicken wings for delivery to the hospital and added a 20% tip. It was deliver by Door dash. Well the pizza was cold. The wings were baked and very good. I ask for some extra sauces for the wings but nothing was provided. I paid for extra ranch dressing and it was awful. Maybe at the restaurant you might get better service. I would not cross the restaurant off your list yet, but I would suggest going to the restaurant itself and not count on door dash. The Door Dash driver spoke broken English and I wrote specific directions on where I was going to meet him in my online order. I waited outside for 30 minutes he obviously went to the wrong address even though I wrote down the name of the hospital and where I would be waiting for him - the main entrance near main parking. During my first order, I got the garlic bread knots which were fantastic and chewy. My second visit was during the stay at home period and my parents added some wings to the order.
