Very cheesy pizza. Very good. Would recommend ten out of ten. Pizza is pretty thin, sauce has good flavor!

It's clear that this is a small family owned business as they care about the customers and food quality. They are definitely my go to shop when I want take out. I found out about this restaurant when I was DoorDashing and picked up an order, the pizza smelled great so I decided to try it. I ordered the Deluxe and it was delicious. Service was quick, friendly staff, the restaurant is small and clean. So much better than other pizza chains in the area and not too expensive. This will be my go to pizza place. read more

Ordered a Stromboli which came with a side of marinara sauce. The marinara sauce was SO cold that it wouldn't even move as I shook the small plastic container it was served in. I asked the waiter for WARM marinara and he blew me off by saying, "it's supposed to be room temperature." Uh, excuse me? I really want to like this place. I normally always will choose a local guy over a national chain but the large competitor across the street has the same, if not better, quality pizza for a substantially lower price. We used to live in Johnstown and loved getting pizza from here. After moving we realized just how good it is compared to chain and mass pizza joints. They offer good pizza but we like Dominic's style better. It is not a cheap pizza but it is worth your time if you are looking for good pizza consistently. Awesome pizza, great crust , not too thick not too thin, great flavor. Fresh toppings , lots of cheese perfect sauce. It was one of the best we have had in a long time!! Staff friendly and attentive to our needs and order. We enjoyed Dominic's pizza for several years, but as of tonight have decided never to order again. We apparently live ONE mile outside of their delivery zone - at first they would deliver since we said we enjoyed their pizza and would be repeat customers (which we have been). Then, we had to start driving to a location within their delivery area to meet a driver. As of tonight, a "Co-Manager" told us they could no longer meet anywhere other than someone's residence. Even after I said they'd be losing a good customer, he pretty much said, "sorry". Even Pizza Hut from GREELEY delivers to our location, which is a lot further. Furthermore, other restaurants in Johnstown - Domino's or Huang Garden - ALWAYS agree to meet us at a location within their delivery area that's closer to us. Their sandwiches are HORRIBLE. Wish I could have given them a better score. Ordered 2 of the gluten free crust and my goodness they were both hard as a rock. I couldn't even finish it. Definitely not fresh crust. This place is great and all, the prices are amazing but the quality of food could be better. Every time I get a blt from them I ask for no onions (upsets my stomach) there's always onions in it. *drool!* I love this place! I grew up in Johnstown and have been eating this pizza since the early 90's. My friends an I used to walk down here and pitch on a pizza when we were hanging out. I used to come here for lunch in high school. When I house sit / dog sit for my parents, this is what I order when I'm staying in. There is nothing like Dominic's! The sauce is zesty & garlicy, the cheese is perfectly stringy and deliciously gooey and it's a home town favorite. I can't wait for my next slice! read more

My family moved to Johnstown about a year ago and have tried to sample all of the local offerings. We've been to Dominic's three times, giving it a fair shot, and decided that we probably don't need to go back now. The first experience was a delivered pizza. The staff on the phone was curt bordering on rude, and the pizza arrived cold and long after promised. The second and third experiences were take-out. The pizza itself was good - I'd call it above average. However, it was pretty pricey for what you got and it was again a bit slow. I like supporting local businesses, but not really when they don't deserve support. read more
