Very old-school place. Definitely not kosher like most Lakewood restaurants - this is right on the border and has dairy, meat, and very much non-kosher meats at that. Well, if that doesn't bother you, you will find that Red Moon offers great food. I actually got a sandwich instead of pizza and it came out with a perfect balance of cheese, great sauce, excellent crispy bread, piping hot. It's definitely made to order, because we had a few minutes to sit and, not really go over the project so much, but just chat with the owner. Very friendly guy. I don't know if I would believe this is "NY style" pizza, but it sure offers the goods for the sammies! If work brings me back, I may risk a slice to see if there's a fifth star hanging around.

Now that I've given a quick overview of the food, the reason why they get the fifth star from me is because of their customer service. The folks are always pleasant, and if on the slim chance there's an issue with your order, they will definitely work to rectify the situation. As I mentioned, we have a lot of great places around, but service is crucial. I also like that they post their lunch specials daily on social media outlets. It's nice to go and try something new.
