I made a pitstop here on a long drive. I love Domino's sandwiches because they have a nice variety to choose from, they are also very satisfying and filling. I don't eat meat, so I almost always get the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich. You can also create your own sandwich by mixing and matching toppings. This store has indoor seating; however, it was closed off to the public on my visit. The store was also very clean. I attempted to order via the app while in the store so I could get the pizza points, however, I was having issues getting into my account. The man at the register was very friendly and patient with me while I struggled to get into the Domino's app. He also tried to offer suggestions to help me. Eventually, I was never able to access my account, so I ended up ordering my sandwich at the register. After ordering, my sandwich was ready within 15 minutes, it was hot, fresh and tasted great. It was decided at my in laws household that for dinner, tonight, Pizza was on the menu. We headed over to this dominos because it was the closest to us and though some of the lights inside were turned off from the outside the "OPEN," sign was still on. We attempted to open the door but the workers behind the counter just shouted that we had to order online. There's no problem with that but maybe having a sign that says that. I have been ordering food for over forty years and this was the worst in all that time. We were quoted 45 minutes after they attempted to dissuade us from ordering by hanging up the phone a dozen times. The attempts to follow up on our pizza were given equal attention between pickup/hang up and just ignoring the call. After almost two hours a thin crust pizza arrived that looked like it was overcooked, undersauced and dehydrated to boot. Of course it was cold also cause we are 4 miles from the shop so in the extra hour and a half the guy played with our pizza any oven it once knew was a long gone memory. The soda was ignored or as the excuse for a 6'5" delivery guy said "oh you ordered a soda?" "I can bring it back in 20 minutes or you can call to have a refund issued. Don't trust the workers answering the phones. They will hang up on you without a second thought, which makes picking up your carry out annoying since you have to call the store when you get there. Their delivery is also unreliable. When using the ap, you will more often than not see your order on "Quality Check" (IE your ready pizza is under the hot lamp) for a half an hour, if not longer. If you live near the store you might as well pick it up since you'll starve by the time you wait for delivery. Pizza is Domino's standard, though toppings are on the lighter side. Don't be surprised if you find your order slightly overcooked and cool of temperature. read more

Timing: be prepared to wait, even when given a pick-up time. The biggest fail was seeing the guy who was assembling the pizzas, touching various things with his gloves, then using those same gloved hands to grab toppings. Sanitary practices could be improved. Then there is the parking. No, no, no. Does the city enforce the codes? Yes. Does the city have codes for parking and business access? Probably not. Even though this location had a few hiccups with our orders in the past, they have always corrected it and made it right. My husband swears they have the best hot wings. I like the plain wings. Their thin crust pizza is delicious, that's all we get. We have tried their pasta and cheese bread but we stick to what has been the best of us which is their pizza and wings. Well, let me tell you... I have dealt with this location time and time again (none of which were exemplary but nonetheless it's Barstow sooooo [I bit my tongue]..... But tonight was the straw that broke my back! I called and ordered... Blah, blah, blah... 20-25 minutes was the estimate. THAT WAS AT 6 PM. 6:40--- I started calling.... HOLY CRAP!!! I literally got a busy signal for at least ten minutes! (I'm not embellishing) I finally got through and when the phone call was answered and they asked if I could hold and I said "NO" because I was so frustrated the guy DIDNT EVEN HEAR ME AND PUT ME ON HOLD!!!! I waited another eight minutes of which I finally received the pizza. The poor delivery guy (Pete) was nice but on the receiving end of my frustration. I apologized but showed him my phone that I WAS STILL ON HOLD!!! (I literally had my phone on speaker so the delivery guy could hear/see me trying to call the company AND see how long I had been on hold!)
