Best Pizza Ever Last night! I have never had better anywhere. They must have had Mr. Domino in house making pies! My last one here a few months ago was mediocre--under-cooked, very little chicken, not their best. But I gave them another try Sat night. Last night's pizza--cooked right, lot's of chicken, perfect sauce. Over two years ago, I placed an order during summertime and the driver was mad because it was hard getting on the peninsula and he forgot my soda. He asked if I still wanted it and I said yes he brought it back an hour later but somehow, my address was banned from the system When I called back two years later to ask why my address is banned they said they could take my order but had a very rude attitude so much that I hung up. I tried to order a pizza from Domino"s by telephone. First, I gave all my order information and delivery information to the gentleman who answered the phone. He put me on hold for a brief minute. When he came back he informed me that he could not place the order and would have to transfer me to my local store, which he did. Over ten minutes later I was still on hold. WEll, since I was hungry I hung up and called another pizza restaurant. That entire transaction took less than two minutes! I have been eating Domino's thin crust pepperoni pizza since I was a kid. After reading the negative review (while waiting for my husband to pick up our pizza), I imagined that Judy must be an insanely picky person. I mean, it is Domino's not Z Pizza, so we have to keep our expectations in line. I have to say, however, that I totally agree with her now. Our pizza was burnt all the way around the outer edge. There was none of the normal seasoning on the pizza, and the pepperoni was just...I don't know...different than what I remember. I called the store to complain, and the man working said that it was my husband's fault it was cold because he didn't get there fast enough (it took him 10 minutes to drive there). My husband drove back to get a new pizza. What a waste that we had to spend the gas money to go back! Spring for Z Pizza, it costs the same as it will when you have to return for a second pizza. Located on PCH and Orchid next to Rose Cafe. Dominos has come a long way, the new pizza is very good in my opinion. They still have the $5.99 medium if you get 3 or more pizzas which is very convenient when people want different toppings. I also like the ultimate pepperoni, it's very good loaded with cheese and pepperoni. I think the new crust is great, it has the garlic taste which I like. This location is clean and when we order takeout or delivery it is also on time and done correctly, which is rare now days for pizza delivery. If you are ordering from here you know it's not going to be a 5 course gourmet meal, but it will fill you up, taste great and not break the bank. read more

But the best part is the Domino's team here: Tony and Tim are experts in the way of customer service - I don't know the other guys' names as interact with Tim and Tony most often. Surprisingly good! The crust was just what a crust should be--not too thick, but buttery and garlicky. We took a chance and ordered the chicken carbonara and that was surprisingly good too with tasty mushrooms. And then the lava cake was hot and molten inside. The textures were just right. The only thing open past 9:00 pm for take out in Corona del Mar and for that it gets + half a star. Hours Su-Th 11:00am-11:30pm Fr-Sa 11:00am-12:30am I stopped in, ordered the Hawaiian, and was pleasantly surprised when I was told it would be 6 minutes from the time I finished paying. The pizza was done super quick. For this it also gets + half a star. The pizza itself was not good. Icky. No flavor. Too much cheese but the Hawaiian comes with extra cheese so perhaps if you ordered a different type of pizza it might be better. I don't think it could be much worse. I'd say stick with peperoni, cheese, and sauce at this place. No need to pay for extra fancy gourmet cause it ain't gonna happen - ever! read more

The employees at the Corona Del Mar location are great. The delivery guy (not sure name but older guy) is always so nice, more than normal. The manager Tim is awesome! Friendly, happy looks like he is genuinely happy to be at his job. I had a problem with my order which was my fault (due to the app which I am not a fan of) Tim's attitude about it was awesome. Large pizza with Pineapple(I know...gasp), Olives, and Bell Peppers. Day 1 was pretty good. Surprisingly it was reheating the pizza on Day 2 that made it taste wayyyy better! Ordering was easy.
