Some of the best pizza I have ever had and the customer service is off the charts they are super friendly and very respectful.

I don't know how this place does not have 5 stars. Honestly the best pizza and best experience here. We got the veggie pizza size small and a pastrami sandwich. I ordered online and it was ready in 30 minutes. It was so hot and smelled delicious. The veggie pizza had a generous amount of veggies on it and the dough was so soft. I wish the pastrami sandwich had more meat in it, but it was still very delicious. I highly recommend stopping buy for some delicious pizza. read more

Ordered take out "Special " X-Large pizza. It was special alright. Special as in inedible. It's was weird. The crust was cooked but the toppings were not. Just one runny gross crummy pizza. In appearance and taste it was awful. Unfortunately a good portion went right into the garbage bin. At $35.99 a pop I deserved a lot better quality. FYI I have never paid $35.99 for a take out pizza. Went after the kid spent a day at the beach. I was starving and saw Gina's while walking around the neighborhood. I checked the yelp review and felt it was worth a visit. We went in around 7:20pm on a Friday night and were quickly seated. Good thing because 20 minutes later there was a line and no seats. Since the door was open, I was cold and asked my son to get a jacket from the car for me. They noticed my ask and turned the heater on for me above my seat. That was very nice and accommodating. The service was really good and they were all very helpful. Anyway, ordered some wings, lasagna and a medium pizza. The wings and lasagna came out pretty quickly and the pizza took about an additional 10 minutes. We enjoyed the wings a lot. We didn't eat too much lasagna because we wanted to wait for the pizza. When the pizza came, we each had a slice and were full from there. The medium pizza was bigger than expected and was pretty tasty. We ended up eating the lasagna and pizza the next day and they both tasted even better then. My son said the pizza reminded him of pizza we had in Chicago. I noticed others adding arugula on top of their pizza. Wish I'd tried that. Next time. I'd give them a 4.5 but since I can't do that, I'll round up to a 5. read more

Huge slice and it was actually really good! The undercarriage was nice and crisp. Definitely recommend trying it, though it might be a one-and-done for me. Around $15 per slice, so definitely pretty pricey. read more

If you like bland pizza that tastes like bread I would recommend this place. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and paid $9 and was supposed to get 62 cents change back and the overweight approximately 50 year old male working the register said "you're good". I would tip if my food is good. In this case it wasn't and I regret even giving up a 62 cent tip as the cashier did not give me back my change. I prefer a pizza with flavor. This pizza has a thick crust that tastes like bland dough with a hint of pepperoni and cheese. Don't let the smell fool you. I kept taking bites trying to figure out why something that smells so good tastes so bland. The pizza is a 3.5 outa 10. You can get better pizza at Costco. read more

The ambiance in this place is amazing, very romantic feel in the dining area. The cashier that took my order was super personable and made my group feel comfortable. The food was really good! Gina's Pizza was served at an afternoon gathering and I thought it was good. The pizza crust was chewy, the red pizza sauce was flavorful (and not overly spicy) and the cheese tasted fresh. I tried the cheese-pizza and the pepperoni pizza and both of them were good. I didn't have anything to do with ordering the pizza, so I don't have any comments about the cost or service. Pizza is probably the most subjective food there is to review between all the different styles/types. Gina's makes a good pizza. The sauce is not sweet like a lot of the commercial places. Toppings are under the cheese instead of on top. They have a nice crust. If you're looking for some indoor seating, they have a very small seating area with table service. It's really more of a covered patio than dining room. If it's chilly outside, they have one heater hanging from the ceiling. The one thing I noticed was they do a heck of a takeout business, so there's a lot of people that stop here to get a pizza. They've been in business since 1975. The food is good (especially the meatball sandwich), but this place is a dump. Thirty years ago I lived two blocks from here and ate here all the time. I'm 99% certain that they've not updated it since then. The inside looks like they just gave up. It's dank, and hot, and the windows don't open, the tables don't line up height-wise (which makes it annoying to put two tables together for a party of four), and the floors are gross and actually have a slope to them. The inside is what you'd expect from a low budget restaurant in a college town that caters to college kids on a tight budget. When we got there, it looked like they were closing the dining room. (Chairs on the tables) Ugh! We didn't feel like getting it To-Go! Well... That's where "THE" employee comes in... DAVE TODD was nice enough to let us sit and eat! He was beyond kind and truly made us feel like it was no problem! AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Dave is a SUPER nice guy! You really do feel like family here! No kidding! Oh yeah... AND... The spaghetti was off the charts! It was DELICIOUS! Pink sauce, sausage, and garlic toast! Yum! ALL the employees were incredibly nice! And I mean ALL of them! One guy was going home for the night and when he was leaving, he waved to my friend and I and said: "Good night, guys! During lunch hours they have a special for either a slice of pizza and a drink or a BiggaSlice and a drink. I don't think the special is that great of a deal, especially since neither pizza comes with any toppings. It's either 69 cents or a dollar per topping, depending on pizza size. The interior of the restaurant is cute and has several seating options. The tables were a little dirty and I'd recommend the restaurant to keep an eye on that. Both pizzas that we got were good. We got one BiggaSlice and one regular Pizza Slice, both with individual toppings. I enjoyed the eggplant, broccoli, and Italian sausage on my regular slice. My partner got pepperoni and bacon bites. The meat was a little burnt in some places but overall very good. read more

I've eaten here many times before but not recently. I stopped today for a dinner of cheese ravioli in meat sauce and a root beer soda. The guy I ordered from was very nice and accommodating, no complaints there. He brought my meal a short time later and it was horrible. It looked like it was left over from the 4th of July weekend five days ago. It did not seem fresh at all. The raviolis were soggy, limp, and very stale tasting. The meat sauce had the consistency of runny crap. The food was barely warm. I'm sorry to have to leave such a dreadful description but I've had much better food at this restaurant. Customer service really needs to improve. Dear owner please train your employees how to meditate, handle conflict resolution and own it when they are the ones who cause the mix up, delay or mistake. Make it right , the customer should owlways be accommodated, wither discount , free cookies something. We are your bread and butter, without us you would be shut down. Every time I go I have the same problem as most who post here the orders are never ready, and others are prioritized before others. With only apologies. I ordered a personal pizza stated it would be about ten minutes. I waited 30. People who oelreded after me got theirs. Always our families favorite pizza! We come from Seattle a couple times a year and we always look forward to Gina's! We always get take out. So I don't know what it's like to eat in the restaurant. Service is always friendly, pizzas have always been correct, fresh and hot, prices haven't changed much over the 10 years we have been coming. My favorite part about Gina's? They don't try to make their pizza "interesting" or "bougie" they just make traditional pies and they do them so good!!
