I don't get why they get such bad reviews, their food is good and their service is good here. The food is consistent and just as you'd expect, whether you're ordering inside and having them build a sandwich in front of you or if you're just swinging by for a pickup by ordering ahead online. I usually go here on my lunch and used to always order inside, but have recently switched to using the app so I could just make it a quick pick up and leave during my break. Either method I've noticed my food comes out consistently and I've had no issues so far. The service has always been good, in my experience. I even come during the lunch rush and the workers are still serving up smiles and treating everyone with respect and making things super easy. Ambiance is as you'd expect from a Jersey Mike's - it gets pretty loud because people have to talk loudly to order and the workers need to accurately capture requests, but that's a given. There's tables inside and a full self service drink station. It's got everything you need. The parking lot is shared with the plaza and it can get busy during lunch rush, so be warned, but I've never had a single issue with parking after coming here for months. So much is made of them cutting the meats when you order , but the real question is, who makes the meat? Also, I think 8" subs are kind of small for $12. Jimmy John's has a very good double meat Italian for $10 w/ hot peppers. Order the #7. read more

On 5/29/26 my husband and I ordered sandwiches for dinner. My sandwich was a #7 with mayo and he had a #5 which did not include turkey or mayo. I ate mine at around 7pm and by 11pm I had food poisoning. I had stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. I called the store the next morning when they opened and spoke to the general manager, Carlos. His reaction was that or "No one else has reported anything" to which I said "Well, I am your first one then." He then informed me that there was certain protocol that was new, needed to be followed. He took my name and number after I asked if he wanted it. Then he said that someone would be getting back to me. That was Saturday morning. I did not hear from anyone so on Monday morning I called and spoke to him again. He said he just talked to the district manager, Kyle Hogget (not sure if the last name is spelled that way) and that Kyle would be calling me back. It is now Thursday and no one has called me back yet. I think it is poor customer service to treat someone this way and to say they will be reaching out and then to not reach out. I would also like to add that I had not had lunch this day and this was the only thing that I ate that others did not eat. It was either the turkey or the mayo that got me sick. It would be nice if the establishment would take this more seriously. read more

I honestly do not understand where some of the negative reviews are coming from because every experience I have had at this location has been great. Every single person I have interacted with here has been polite friendly and genuinely attentive. I usually order online and pick up in store so I am physically going in most of the time and the service is always consistent. On the occasions when I order through DoorDash they still get everything right and actually listen to special requests like extra cheese which matters to me. I truly love Jersey Mike's as a brand and this location in particular has never let me down. I also want to give a special shout out to Nate who has helped me multiple times now. He is incredibly sweet attentive and has such a strong work ethic which really stands out. This is genuinely a great location with a great team and I will absolutely keep coming back. There is a red head lady who I told this to and she could careless also some girl that's by the cash register that told me to allow time for my food to be made but turns around to the girl with the red hair that she couldn't find my ticket. This is our local Jersey Mike's and we come to eat lunch regularly. We ordered a giant club supreme but the amount of meat was lacking. Maybe 4 pieces. It was so obvious that we went back and told them. There didn't appear to be a manager. The person that didn't make the sandwich and without even looking said that that's how is has always been...and he's been there for 8 years. We calmly took our sandwiches and said we will not be returning. He said do that. This place needs a manager onsite or some quality control on how to resolve issues. read more

I came here on a tight time schedule on my lunch break from work. I placed an order for a sandwich, and when I went to pay for my sandwich, I was informed that they do not accept $100 bills. my sandwich was already made, yet I was turned away anyways. Nowhere, as far as I could tell, does it state that they do not accept $100 bills. I couldn't go elsewhere as I had run out of time at lunch, so I was pretty much screwed and was unable to eat all day. Absolutely terrible. The worst experience I have ever had with jersey mikes. Well, I ordered the #8 ($9.05) on rosemary parmesan bread. #8 is the club sub which has provolone, applewood smoked bacon, ham, turkey and mayo. It's served Mike's Way which just means that the veggies include onions, lettuce, tomato, vinegar, oil, oregano and salt. When I unwrapped my sandwich to eat, I could already see the oil leaking through the packaging. Upon initial bites, I discovered that my bread was completely drenched in oil; I ate the top of one of the halves, but decided to chuck the other half because the bread was incredibly soggy. Lesson learned for next time: ask for a little less oil. And maybe eat it on the spot. If you order it Mike's way, definitely keep this in mind. read more

Yesterday (7/7/2025) I visited the Jersey Mike's on Bison Street in the Bluffs Shopping Center in Newport Beach, CA. On reaching the cashier to pay for my sub, I asked for the veteran's discount. I have been a customer at this location for many years. I have always been given the veterans discount when asking for it. I had on a ballcap with a Seabee Combat Warfare Badge. It was relatively apparent that I was/am a veteran. The cashier asked me for a "veterans identification for proof that I am a veteran". I explained that veterans don't carry "proof of identification that we are veterans". Another cashier came to the register and asked me if I'd "like to talk to the manager"? There were numerous people standing around the area. Their questions to me were insulting and embarrassing. I told her "no" and walked out. I will NEVER return to this franchise store again. I'm so disappointed with how this location acted today. My son has MAJOR food allergies and the employees didn't care. I've come in the past and they have always been great, but today they didn't listen to anything that was said. He's allergic to Mayo and they proceeded to put Mayo on the sandwich, my husband asked them to clean the slicer and they proceeded not to clean the slicer. After seeing this we refused to buy the sandwich and walked out. We went into Jersey Mike's to get a couple sandwiches to go. It was beyond bad. We ordered two sandwiches and neither were correct. One was a hot chicken sandwich and the other was basic turkey sandwich. The hot sandwich order was never started until we reminded the staff of the order after waiting for 15 minutes - then they lied and said they were cooking it. We could see the grill was empty. Finally, after another 10 minutes, we supposedly got our order. Problem was - it wasn't chicken and instead we got a roast beef sandwich. My basic turkey I requested oil and vinegar but they loaded it with vinegar and it was soaked and awful. When we called the store for a refund and to make them aware of the problem, we spoke with Angela who was extremely rude, accused me of racism (because I said anyone here knows how to apply oil and vinegar :)) and told me we cannot obtain a refund without coming back into the store. Needless to say, we were disgusted with the service, food and treatment. Never going to a Jersey Mike's again. And I will fight this through American Express. At the time of this writing, I got a 6-inch sub for free with the purchase of another 6-inch sub. That's some good savings! Now I will admit that the subs here can be pretty pricey, but they're definitely justified. I was craving a Philly cheesesteak and knew that I had to have one from Jersey Mike's because there wasn't anyone else in the area that I could trust with making this beloved sandwich. The shop can get pretty busy even if it isn't lunch hour and if you're not ordering a cold sub then it will take a few minutes to cook up your meat.
