We were disappointed but figured we'd give it a shot. Owner was a nice guy, but I immediately got the vibe of a place that doesn't know what it wants to be. It felt like they were surprised to have customers. They heavily advertise pizza, however the pizza kitchen was closed for whatever reason. That was fine, we ordered a Turkey sandwich (Turkey, bacon, maple chipotle, ranch, greens, and Pepper Jack) which was delicious. While waiting, another customer came in looking for pizza and when hearing the kitchen was closed, he said, "this is my 3rd time here and every time I come there is no pizza, you're not very consistent". He still ordered food, I am sure it was great. Most people who wandered in were looking for the Red Hen, we heard the owner tell at least 2 other customers, that the Red Hen had moved out a few months ago. It must get tiring. The place was understaffed, looked like a 2 man operation, owner taking orders, taking calls on his cell phone, and another guy in the kitchen, making sandwiches and bringing them out to tables. That being said, I would still give it another shot and give them some time to get their act together. The sandwich was delicious. I hope they do well, but to survive in the restaurant business you need to be on your game.

After puttering about Sugarbush Village for a bit we realized we were in the wrong place and drove to the "new" location at almost exactly the 20 minute marker for pickup. The pizza was just as we fondly remembered: a great balance of oregano-forward sauce and not-overly-high-brow mozzarella, and a generous amount of pepperoni / toppings on a slightly more cracker-like crust than NYC-style pizzas. My family of pizza snobs likes, but does not rave about, this place.
