Until a few weeks ago, I hadn't had Domino's Pizza for 25 years or more. Honestly, I thought it tasted like cardboard back then. One day late at night Domino's was the only pizza place open, so me and a friend ordered some. It was pretty good, so maybe a week later I ordered the Italian sandwich. It was so good. Let me explain further I placed a pick up order today in the drive thru and when I received my pizza and opened the box I noticed a sliver of my pizza was cut out. Ayooo! Pizza pizza! Actually, way better than lil Cesar's pizza pizza. I had gotten a couple pizzas & the cookie brownie for the Super Bowl, and on short notice, it was done fairly quick! I love the fact that this location also has a drive thru. I had gotten a large pepperoni & a large custom pizza. The pepperoni was good, can't really go wrong with it. But the custom pizza that had the white garlic sauce, chicken, Italian sausage, black olives, and garlic was like nothing I've had before. It was loads of flavor. Each bite was bursting and moist (could be the oil too lol, but it wasn't visible that it was oil unlike other pizza's). The brownie with cookie was good for what it was. I didn't order it, my cousin did and well, it is what it is said to be, so I can't complain. It wasn't bad, but not great. Price-wise, obviously more than little Cesar's, but of course better. I would have given this place 1 star because of what I initially received but they came back and redelivered another pizza. Although they came back, it wasn't any better than the first pizza. I have never had a bad pizza delivered from dominos before but I guess there is always a first. First pizza, garlic Parm white sauce w/salami and spinach. I asked for extra sauce and extra cheese and by the looks of the pic... I did not get what I asked for. It was very dry and inedible. My hubby called again and spoke with an employee and they offered to either give us a free pizza next time or have one delivered again. We accepted to have another one delivered. We received second pizza and half of pizza had cheese and topping and sauce and the other half had nothing. So this dominos night was not a great night. I advised her that I received no such call and this is a cell therefore I would have been the only one to answer if so. I confirmed the callback number is correct, and that the driver may have dialed a wrong number. She was not apologetic and said the person who cancelled the order is gone, that she didn't cancel the order. No apologies, said if I want to place a new order it'd be another 45 mins. I've never been a huge Domino's lover. Let me explain why: You know how they have Red Baron frozen pizzas and Totino's frozen pizza? Domino's is the Totino's of the pizza chain restaurant. Meaning: Glomp on that sodium and refrain from putting a lot of toppings on there. It's cheap pizza. Came in tonight at a weird hour, had my pizza done in about 15 minutes. You can tell their secret ingredient is garlic salt in their sauce and some parmesan baked in with the rest of the cheese. So if you don't like garlic that much, Domino's is definitely your thing.
