I like Domino's. I definitely like our local pizza places but as with all franchises, there's a comforting feeling with the assurance that it will be the same no matter what. My experiences with this domino's has always been very good. I am no pizza connoisseur but I enjoy Domino's pizza. The folks are friendly and the service is quick. The only downside is they decided to skimp on today's spinach request. A whole bag of spinach barely costs 2$... could you really only afford to give us just 5 leaves? I get take out from here occasionally. I'm no twenty something anymore and I can't indulge in the ZA the same way I did in college. I have to say though, when I'm looking for that dirty good slice, filled with cheese and salt, then I'm hoping online and getting take out from here. I can't tell people how amazing their spinach feta cheesy bread is without feeling a little silly, but it's good! I don't do delivery, so can't give any input on that... During the day it's tough, I think they are under staffed in day time hours. But in the evening it takes like 10 or 15 mins. During the day, there's no telling, but they try. The staff here has always been super kind. They apologize if an order is messed up and if I have to wait. For a chain restaurant that says a lot. I have met some of the grumpiest people in big chains because they are having to follow a million corporate rules and aren't making a ton of money. Here in Portland, with about 7 billion food choices, if you're craving that comfort midwestern chain food, Domino's is a good choice for satisfying that urge.. The problem here is that the franchise owner owns approximately 30 Dominos franchises, apparently will not pay his employees a working, livable wage; so unlike his competitors, cannot keep employees. They're just warm bodies though, right Dominos? Just drones and are interchangeable. Don't just avoid this and all Dominos, consider stopping your business with them altogether. Be weary everyone! Your delivery may be contact-less.. but in the store they are wearing masks half on and handling and kneading the dough with ZERO GLOVES. Can't go wrong with domino's. Decent delivery speed and I love the online ordering option. Only once have I had an issue with this location - according to the online system, my order was ready but when I got to the store it was still being made so I had to wait around 5-10 minutes. After repeating my card number for the third time I finally gave up. The rude and unmotivated employee couldn't hear me over the backround noise of the kitchen. I called Ottos. This was the worst visit to a domino's I've ever had. As a loyal customer to Dominos, I found it extremely frustrating when the delivery man showed up to my house tonight and forgot the pizza, had to go back to the facility to pick it up, and still made my family pay full price. The overall trip took an extra 30 minutes if not longer, and when I called and asked to speak to the manager I was told there would be no compensation and that, "People were getting their pizza way later" finishing with, "We are lucky, sooo"... Overall I found this experience to be extremely unprofessional on Dominos end, and unfortunately will not be ordering from there in the future. I eat a lot of pizza and Dominos is pretty consistently tasty these days. The "premium pizza snobs" are crazy. So far, this is the fastest (Online Ordering, mos def) and best quality for the price in the area. Dominos is not oily and greasy (Portland Pie, I'm looking at you); it doesn't have tough, dried-out crust (Leonardo's); and it never offers a truncated selection of toppings and bizarre toppings (Ottos, your pizza is weird). One of their drivers nearly hit my car while driving, to the extent I had to slam on my brakes and swerve out of the way. She then proceeded to speed off, run a red light, and turn left out of the wrong lane. When we called the store manager to explain that her employee is a danger to everyone on the road she said she "didn't have time to go back and forth" and nothing was being done about it except a little talking to to the driver.
