Meatball Pie (11-inch) fast, fresh and tasty!

Interesting concept. The pizza was different, but it wasn't terrible. It was cooked and not burnt. Very thin crust that was a little too floppy, but overall I enjoyed the flavors of the pizza. And it came out fast! There were a ton of staff members however only 3 seemed to be working. The rest were chatting amongst each other. They seem to be in decent moods, but I wouldn't say were "welcoming". The person taking orders smiled and took our order. The person that cashed us out, was nice enough. The dining room was not clean. There were several pieces of trash on the floor and pizza debris on the tables that were open. I was a bit surprised given how many staff members were just standing around chatting and not physically doing any work. We cleaned off our own table and sat down. But again, trash at our feet, is not a great experience. Now I can say I finally tried Blaze Pizza.

Had a work event here and tried the pizza for the first time. I was happy with what I got. It's cool cause you can go through the line like chipotle and pick whatever toppings you want. I made a white sauce chicken pizza and it was very good, and it comes out fast. I also brought home some cheese bread sticks and they were good. I got the thicker crust and I loved it. The service was super friendly and they were very nice to host the chamber event. If I want quick pizza I'll be back.

The wife and I stopped in here after going to see the Christmas lights in Cumberland. This place just opened yesterday and we were very impressed with the service, the friendly folks serving and cooking, the promptness and the speediness of cooking our half pepperoni and half extra cheese flatbread and it was delicious. The ambiance was pretty good but there is not a lot dining area except some tables and chairs to eat and scoot. Cool and unexpected thing was the fact that you could also order beer here with your pies. I saw an Austin st can and someone rocking a miller lite. This place is like a pizza subway with options and toppings and walking down the line to pick your pleasure. We will definitely be back.

Social media explosion- Blaze Pizza open now. I was one of hundreds of people rushing to try this new concept pizza. Sounded good but the reality is.: Not so much. I ordered 2 11 " pizza's one just cheese & one with mushrooms. About 20 minutes later I reached into the box. & grabbed a piece of lukewarm soggieish pizza. Not impressed. Later at home I used my air fryer at 400* pre heated then 6 minutes later a hot slice of pizza but the crust was not acceptable to my tastes. Now I know I'm one person with my own negative opinion but there are a lot of people who must like the Blaze concept with so many franchises across the country. Lebron James put in 1 million $ 's which has returned him in excess of 300 million. Bottom line I tried it, wasted $21.00 & won't be back.

We generally love Blaze. This one was horrible. We were one of two tables in here. It wasn't busy. Ordered a pizza for our son and everything came off of 2 of the slices. Literally, a quarter of his pizza was just crust. They served it like that and just said sorry. My husband and I ordered meatballs. After never getting them, we went up to ask and they had been just sitting there on the counter for who knows how long. They weren't hot when we got them. After we were done, we ended up having to ask for a refund for our cinnamon sticks that they never made. Had to stand at the register for 7 minutes before someone even acknowledged us.

    Sad, sad toppings.

So I was told amazing things - I absolutely had to have this pizza - it's amazing - etc. so I was amped up for this pie. First of all - you walk in and the 'menu' for what it is isn't exactly intuitive. They have a few specialty pies listed but nothing spoke to me. There wasn't any mention of a margarita option- but there was a graphic of one that flashed on the digital screen at some point. I settled for a two topping 11 inch pie special which included a soda for $11. They make it to order - but so does every single other pizza place I've ever seen. The resulting pie was just sad. I ordered a pepper and onion - there were literally 11 small slices of pepper on the whole pie (see pic) and an equivalent onion count. The pie was over cheesed and under cooked. The service was fine and friendly - but they just don't have the tools available to make a decent pizza. I'd literally go to Dominos before coming back here - and that is terrible pizza!!

LeBron does it right. Dominos, Pizza Hut, Papa John's, and Little Caesars wish they were as good as Blaze Pizza. Not bad for your diet either, it is a splurge but 700 calories isn't bad at all for fast food pepperoni pizza. Staff were so friendly and knowledgeable too which totally added to the experience. And the atmosphere is quite nice too. Would definitely recommend.

Quick make-your-own subway style pizza. Cooked quickly in a hot oven. Fairly new place and we tried the 5 for 35 deal. 3 pizzas and two apps. No drinks with the deal unfortunately. We order some menu pizzas but then had to instruct the staff on what was on the menu pizzas. I just assume it's all new staff and they have not memorized the few menu pizzas, not a big deal, will come with training. Pizzas were yummy and you got to chose drizzles at the end like ranch or balsamic.

Very different from Greek, New York and New Haven style pizza. Deliciously different from what we usually get in Portland. We ordered online but ate in the restaurant. The service was very good, friendly and knowledgeable. We had the Margarita pie and the Sausage and Broccoli Rabe pie. My husband is a pizza snob and he LOVED the broccoli rabe pie. Both pizzas were cooked perfectly with generous amounts of cheese. The margarita pie had just the right amount of basil. But the star of the show for us was the sausage/broccoli pie! We had never had broccoli rabe on a pie before. The broccoli rabe was tender, well seasoned, and had a floral note to it, the crust was chewy with just the right amount of char and the sauce added just the right acidity. The only thing we felt was lacking (slightly) was the sausage. It was so mild that you almost couldn't taste it. It was cooked well and no gristle at all - just lacking that sausage flavor that you expect when you order sausage on your pizza. Regardless we would and WILL order it again. We will definitely be back and strongly recommend Coletti's if you are in the area. If Coletti's is looking to expand - please come to Portland!

The pepperoni was plentiful, so that's on me. As I said before, I really wanted to give Otto's a great review because the pizza had so much potential. Unfortunately, it arrived cold--not just lukewarm, but genuinely cold--which took away from what otherwise seemed like a very good pizza. That said, I have to give credit where it's due. The restaurant's customer service reached out to me almost immediately after my review. They took accountability for the issue and refunded my entire order without me even asking. That level of customer service says a lot about the business. Because of how they handled the situation, I would absolutely give Otto's another try. Maybe I just got unlucky that night. Next time, I'll probably pick it up myself, because I still think the pizza has the potential to be excellent. Otto's Pizza seemed like a solid choice based on the reviews, and I really wanted to leave a great review. Unfortunately, I can't because my pizza arrived cold. About 16 minutes after placing my order, I received a text saying the kitchen had finished it. The problem is that it wasn't delivered for nearly another 50 minutes, even though my hotel is only about a half mile from the restaurant. The pizza has a lot of potential, but cold pizza just doesn't cut it--especially when the order totaled over $50 after two sodas, a large pizza, a $4 delivery fee, and an $8 tip. To make matters worse, I ordered pepperoni, onions, and pineapple, and there were literally only three pieces of pepperoni on the entire large pizza. I'd order from Otto's again, but only if I picked it up myself. If you choose delivery, I'd wait to decide on the tip until you see how your food arrives.

We were able to park right out front of the store front. Before we got off of the Pike, we ordered 2 pizzas.....one cheese and one veggie. When my wife was finished ordering and before she was told how long it would be before pick-up, the clerk told her the total price ($53.22). When I heard the price, I almost went off the road but I would find out later that it was well worth every cent! I went in to watch the process, which I love to do. It was a pretty busy Sat evening, for sure. Only one size of pizza....all large. Pizza orders of 8, 4 and 5 were pumping out the kitchen! Three workers and one register clerk made up the staff. There are 4 small tables and chairs if you want to eat-in, as well. When our order finally came out, I was a bit hesitant. I am a fan of lightly cooked and no bubbles. The pizza, when it was being cut, looked charred up a bit and had a bubble or two. As I walked to the car, I was not very confident that things would turn out the way they did. When we each started to eat the pizza, we were both thrilled with everything.....crust, cheese, overall taste and cook-style! The veggie was "delicious" and the cheese pizza was in the Louie's class (Woburn, MA). Boy, were we happy! The price was a little high but very well worth it. You get what you pay for! Soda: no Pepsi/no Coke (see pic) Parking: on Main Street...seemed easy Price: a little high...but worth it Ambience: nice little spot Will I be back?: When in Biddeford....sure Stars: 5

In the meantime, staff were hustling to clean the Restsurant: refilling and removing items from the tables, brought a big yellow mopping bucket out, and so forth . It really put a damper on the atmosphere of trying to have a nice meal out. In addition, there was only one other couple in the facility and we were still waiting for our order. Our Cesar salads finally came, with apologies for delays, then the personal pizzas came about 10 minutes after. We waited to catch the server and ask about our wings appetizer; she said it would be just a couple of minutes and again apologized. Meanwhile, we finished our meal. The server came by and stated she would take $10 off the bill. Then, wings arrived, we had them boxed up. Overall, cleaning and restocking with customers in a restaurant put a big damper on the atmosphere of our meal along with the huge delays. I shared my honest feedback with the server as we were leaving, she provided empty promises of better service in the future. We are not so sure we would return or recommend this restaurant again; obviously not the same atmosphere as the first few visits.
