I first wanna start by saying I never come on here to write reviews but the food and the ambiance were amazing. The noodles and broth 10/10. Now the downside, I do think they could be more organized at controlling the flow of sitting people. We did end up waiting awhile, but seeing people literally yell at the staff was out of pocket. What do you expect going to a newly opened restaurant? If you don't wanna wait, maybe try another spot and come back when it's not so hectic. Got into linenaround 4:45 and waited in the sun. They cant really control the weather so the wait was a bit difficult but they tried to move us along as fast as possible. Servers were kind and hard working. I didnt expect it to be super fast as it was the soft opening and likely first time around for everyone, but they were accommodating and kind. I ordered the karaage and signature ramen and was able to try out the takoyaki. All were very delicious and worth the wait. The ramen broth was creamy and the noodles were the best ive had on island. The space was also well decorated and had a nice feel to it. Entering the shop the employees would shout and it added a nice little event to the store. As the initial hype calms down around the restraunt i think this will definitely be a regular ramen spot for me. 5/5 read more

I love ramen. In my youth, my step dad loved to travel so he took us to all over Japan, and we had ramen every places he took us to. So I have respect for ramen for different types of soup & noodles. Of course, not all ramen was my favorite, some more/less than others. As an adult, when my husband and I visited Fukuoka, we ate Breakfast, ramen as a morning snack, Lunch, ramen as afternoon snack, Dinner, and ramen as a late night snack. And this is my personal review of one of Mensho's ramen. It's my personal preference so "your result may vary" We ordered *Signature Ramen *Yuzu Shio Ramen *Premium Bowl *Fried Enoki Chips And this review is for the Signature Ramen I had. Signature Ramen - soup is flavorful but really rich. Noodle is very thick and mochi chewy. And they drained water very well so the flavor of the soup doesn't slide off the noodle. A5 beef slices are thin but very satisfying because they were melt-in-your-mouth soft and very rich. Deep fried pork belly(?) was crispy and very rich. Chicken was soft, juicy soaked in very rich soup. And a little bit of green vegetable was refreshing but not enough (in volume) to compensate the overly rich/fatty flavor of other ingredients. Egg was cooked to the perfection. A perfectly cooked soft-boiled. Each ingredient is tasty and I loved them individually but when they were all combined in a bowl, I was hit by a storm of "richness" and for the first time in my life, I got nauseous eating a bowl of ramen. I couldn't finish a half of noodle. Fried Enoki was crispy but oily. We could taste the oil is not fresh. Yuzu Shio Ramen My daughter said that the soup lacks flavor/Umami, and with overwhelming red onion flavor, she said she couldn't taste Yuzu. Premium Kaisen bowl My other daughter said it was pretty good. Service was decent until after we asked for a receipt. We were asked if we need a receipt and we told our server "yes, please" we waited for a while but no one came back to our table. I had to leave the restaurant leaving my daughter at the table for the receipt because of the low-keyed club-like music with loud base made me even more nauseous. After a long while, my daughter came out of the restaurant saying that she had to go to the front and ask for the receipt. All while she was waiting at the table, not a single employee came to ask her if she needs anything. And sound quality was great. The music sounded very clear and crisp, perfect for other type of venues like bar. But for a restaurant, I felt it was too heavy in the base, and not helping creating nice ambiance for customers. So overall experience, we had to say "very disappointed." Individually, they are so great or almost perfect, yet when you put them or paired them together, they are NOT complimenting each other. We wanted to like this place so much but it's sad we couldn't. My grandma once said "to make a something perfect, you cannot keep adding, you sometimes have to subtract." After visiting Mensho, it reminded me the wisdom of my grandma. And we didn't take photo, again. It's almost reflex for us to immediately start eating when the food hits the table, especially ramen. Again, your result may vary. If your stomach is young and strong and craving for very very rich food, and young and vibrant music and beat while you eat, then you might love this place. But if you're like me, with very matured stomach ( I refused to salt old), this place may not for you. read more

Hubby has been talking about how he's been wanting this for weeks since they've opened! Today we made our way to the shop before 3pm in hopes to get a ticket. To our dismay, they discontinued the ticketing system and the sign said to come back at 4pm for walk-in only. We decided to kill time and by 3:30pm, there was a line already forming. The servers came out at 3:45pm to distribute menus to the guests which helped with the decision making processes. I will say, it is hot so if you are coming to wait, don't wear anything thick, bring water, and don't wear black slippers like I did. They were very prompt to let people in at 4pm, and honestly seating was fast and they accommodated quite a bit of people. We were seated at a 2 person table, lighting is fairly dim, but overall spacious in the restaurant. Our waiter came within 5 minutes to give us waters and take our orders. We started with enoki mushroom chips and calamari. Hubby later added corn ribs. I chose the signature and he got the shrimp GKO per recommendation. We ended with the matcha pudding. Food came out quickly overall. Servers were attentive and refilled waters efficiently too. Here's my in depth review: Enoki chips - this was my favorite appetizer. I liked the flavor it had and the crisp was nice and subtle. Despite it being a vegetable, it tasted almost meaty. I was happy that it wasn't greasy. Hubby thought it was a little too light in flavor. Calamari - Hubby liked it and he liked the sauce. I found it really tough and it might be my weak teeth. Sauce was good though. He would get this again. I would skip. Corn ribs - can corn taste overripe? For some reason maybe the grill on it makes it taste that way. I don't think I would order this again. Hubby said the same. Signature - lots of meat to try! My favorite was the char shu and his was the wagyu. I liked the broth but the star of the show was the noodle. Bouncy and nice chew! Shrimp GKO - so flavorful. This almost felt luxurious to eat and I could never drink all the broth. The garlicky flavor is very reminiscent of Kahuku garlic shrimp in the best way possible. Once again, the noodles are a great and I might even prefer them with this thick broth. It grips it and the flavor sticks as you eat it. The shrimp was good but it's always a pain to de-shell. Matcha pudding - a little thick for my liking but i loved the flavor as a matcha girlie. I would skip next time. Overall - I'd give a 4/5 stars. I don't know that the wait is worth it nor do I think that I would come back frequently. I am so happy to have tried it and I will give the noodles a 5 star rating if I could. read more

I arrived around 3:40 on Saturday and wasn't part of the first seating. The hostess added us to the wait list when they opened at 4 and we had about an hour wait. I was told the first people start to line up closer to 3 to be part of the first seating. Once seated, service was very quick! Our waitress, Hunter, was quick to bring water and take our orders. Food came out fast too! The noodles, made partially with mochi flour, have a nice chew to it. The broth is rich and creamy; chashu is tender too. It's a little pricey for all of the ramen bowls, but the gourmet broth justifies the cost. There aren't many places outside of town that have this kind of ramen. I'd gladly stop by again even with the wait time. Just don't go too late or you'll find yourself killing 2+ hours of time at the mall. read more

Beautiful Ramen restaurant! Decor, atmosphere, service was on point! For a place that just opened I was amazed at the service that was provided. Attentive, efficient and professional! Now we arrived about 5:50 signed in and was told to return at 6:45. Not bad of a wait at all. I did notice though the place was less crowded when we left at about 8ish. The food was amazing and brought the feels of Japan :) we ordered Wagyu Ramen, Duck Matcha Ramen, Wagyu Kani Ikura sushi and Chicken Karaage. Karaage crispy and flavorful drizzled with a sweet sauce with slices of eggplant! The sushi was a perfect bite of Wagyu, crab and Ikura. Both ramen broths rich with flavor but the Duck Matcha was delicious. Base is pork broth with Matcha oil. It has just a hint of Matcha flavor but the broth was green. The slivers of duck were tender and tasty. I love Duck! Left satisfied but be aware it could be pricy. For the 2 ramen, Karaage and sushi it totaled to $104 with tip. The restaurant has a great ambiance and the staff were all very friendly. Our server Robson did great with our drinks and food! We ordered a variety of appetizers and finished our meal off with the Signature Ramen. The Fried Enoki Mushrooms were great! There was a nice crunch and it was a great addition to my ramen. Maguro Carpaccio was definitely not good. The sauce is a matcha flavor and I didn't care for that flavor. The maguro was fishy and at room temperature when served. Chicken Karage came out crunchy and hot. The sauce was great, but I would prefer sauce on the side. A5 Wagyu with Uni Nigiri was okay, I felt like my piece was a bit slimy. The Uni on its own was great. A5 Wagyu with Truffle was okay. The Wagyu on its own was okay, but the Truffle definitely elevated this dish. The Corn Wings were great and I definitely recommend. Drinks were great. The Coke is in glass bottles and the draft beer we ordered came out nice and cold. The Signature Ramen was good. The broth is nice and rich. The noodles had a perfect chewiness to it and the dish came out at a nice hot temperature. Definitely recommend trying the Signature Ramen! Overall, most of the food tasted good and definitely worth a try. I do feel like the prices are a bit high compared to the amount of food. Most of the food was good quality. My boys love ramen so I had to be a team player and join in on the fun at Mensho's soft opening! We were probably the 6th party in line, thank God because the line got long super quick!!!! We ordered the karaage (it was alright), the wagyu and hotate nigiri (perfection!), the signature (the boys loved it), garlic gko (sooo goooood, Oishii desu ne!), and clams (we didn't know this was a ramen dish but so yummy!). Love that the menu has a variety, but I was really surprised by the chicken broth and noodle texture. It was sooooo good, I definitely see the hype!!! The service was top tier, kudos to the server who kept topping off our water! The spot is a perfect size, definitely a good size for the west side, and love the ambiance of a true ramen establishment. We briefly spoke with the owner and he was really nice and humble, so was the lady who showed us the menu, I'm going to assume she's an owner too. Lucky to get in at opening. Beautiful restaurant with a modern Japanese vibe. We all got the signature ramen, the tempura enoki mushrooms and the negi wagyu sushi. The enoki with the lemon squeeze was one of the best appetizers Ive ever had. Crispy, bright, excellent with the pepper powder. Ill get this every time. Ramen comes and the broth is soooo umami! Delicious. It does get saltier as you get closer to the seaweed at the bottom of the bowl. Mom and I couldn't finish it because it was too salty for us. Hubby had no problem and slurped it down. The noodles were the star. Chewing and curly with their distinctive wheat taste. Best noodles!!! Chashu was fall apart tender. The A5 wagyu negi was a melt in the mouth masterpiece and its a nice sized portion so dont feel its too pricey. Our server was wonderful. His 4th day on the job and they hired a great guy. I was coming to Ka Makana Ali'i to meet a friend to go to the poke fest. In the back of my mind, I remembered that the new Mensho opened recently. I used to live in San Francisco and had been to the one there a few times. I am so happy it is here on Oahu, although I do live on the town side. Since I was at Ka Makana Ali'i, after getting off the bus, I headed straight for the new Mensho to check it out, not really having a plan. I noticed a line was starting to form so of course, I jumped in too, not knowing what the line was for exactly. I remembered they started handing out numbered tickets for seating so that people didn't have to wait to be seated in the hot sun. I asked the guy in front of me what time they were giving out tickets. He said 3 o'clock. I looked at my watch, and it said, no kidding, 2:59! What?! Ok, I quickly texted my friend who I was meeting, change of plans, let's go to Mensho! So, I got us two tickets and we were instructed to come back at 3:45 in line to be seated. Ok, totally excited! My friend came and we walked around. We came back in line and stood outside with everyone briefly. It was hot and sunny so good thing, we went inside fairly quickly. People with no numbered tickets were mixed in the line - they were checked in online and would be called in order when their table was available. We had our tickets so we were seated right away. We got seats at the counter - so excited! Hunter was our server (local girl, super friendly, checked on us nicely, great service!). The Shrimp G.K.O. and Clam Butter Shio ramen are the two dishes that are only available here - woo! We wanted to share dishes, so we picked the Clam Butter Shio (I love clams and butter - ooo, don't need to tell me twice!), plus Abura Soba (a dry noodle with this wonderful house-made chashu shoyu sauce) and an order of their famed Enoki (mushrooms) Chips (I remembered this from the San Francisco location, must have!). The Clam Butter Shio ramen is definitely a favorite of our meal, and the crunch of the enoki chips was a great balance. While we were at Mensho, it was started pouring rain outside - I mean, pouring rain where even the locals quickly scattered! Nonetheless, we quickly forgot what was going on outside and enjoyed ourselves! The place has great, inviting energy, and you feel like you stepped into a back alley of Japan where only the best eating places are. I hope Mensho does so well that they open another location closer to town so I can go more often. In the meantime, I'm so happy Mensho is here on Oahu!! E Komo Mai and Mahalo Nui for being here!! And by the way, the rain stopped as we were getting ready to leave - the sun was shining and it was hot again like nothing happened! Food 4.5/5 | Service 2.5/5 Service left a lot to be desired. Food tasted great, though; probably the best ramen on this side of the island. On two separate occasions I saw people in the kitchen eating food with their hands. Which were gloved, but they didn't even bother to switch to a new pair and kept on prepping bowls. Kitchen sanitary protocol needs work, genuinely unacceptable. The wait wasn't so bad for a small party, at around 10 minutes in the afternoon. And the food came out fairly quickly as well: within 10 minutes my party had their appetizers and mains. The 45 minutes after that though, I was only ever checked on once to see how things were while eating. Our area got bussed and we were not checked in at all for anything passed that. No water refills, no asking about any other orders or if we wanted the check. Had to call the server 15-20 minutes after I was done eating for a dessert and check. At this price range, I'd expect better. I get they're working through teething troubles, but a group next to me got in and out faster than mine without having to get the server's attention. So there's inconsistency there. Food is stellar. Had the Signature ramen, fried enoki, and corn ribs. Enoki was great, but a bit oily. Corn ribs were alright, could've used more of the soy they put on it. The shichimi on both brought them up a notch in flavor. Signature ramen had a tori paitan that's thicker than even some tonkotsu broths I've had on island, and I'd even prefer this over tonkotsu depending on the place. Mouth feel was rich, but not overbearingly so. The fried burdock on top I haven't seen, but liked quite a lot. The egg was made well, thick yolk barely set. The texture of the noodles was fantastic as well, firm and still had a chew. All of the meat toppings were very delicious, and I ended up liking the duck the most. The pork belly charsiu was thick, and falling apart tender. The A5 wagyu charsiu is melt in your mouth, with a subtle beef flavor. But honestly, I'm not sure it's worth the price it tacks onto the bowl. Portion wise, I'd guess that most local people with an appetite would need an extra serving of noodles. A bit overpriced, but would recommend, and here's hoping they improve over time. read more

It was quite a wait, but that is to be expected for a grand opening! ​The Food & Ambiance - The food was amazing; the sushi, in particular, was delicious and fresh. The ambiance and music were lovely, giving off a vibe similar to a "ramen version of Doraku." While they did forget our sushi order initially, the staff handled it perfectly. ​The Service - The service was excellent across the board. I'm not just talking about our server; the entire team--from the hosts and food runners to the bussers and managers--was fantastic. Even the younger staff members were incredibly polite, which gave me hope that great customer service isn't dead! ​The Verdict - The food is pricey, and being a bit frugal myself, I'm not entirely sure the cost is justified. I've tried countless ramen places on this island for the past 36 years and this place is truly one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I gave my "signature" ramen bowl an addition of shredded crab and it become a supreme bowl. I would give the bowl I ordered a 9.8/10. The broth was other worldly/ god tier. So robust and filled with rich flavor, broke the entire mouth bangahs. Mo cherry den dis I don't think so. Never mind anybody who gives this place less than 5 stars, their opinion is straight rubbah. Trust me when I say their ramen is a certified pleasure for the senses and Oahu is blessed to have this place just open up. We came at 5:00 PM and got a number from the worker and cruise partied around the shopping center til 7:20 and then it was lights, camera, taste explosion. Food was very good. Service needs to be improved to match the quality of the food. 'No reservations' need to be defined. After waiting in front of line for 4pm opening, they then proceeded to seat guests who got on the waitlist at 3pm. How were we to know there was a waitlist? No explanation just sit to the side and wait to be seated. We were able to be seated after they seated the waitlist, but it would have been more reassuring to have explained to us what was going on. The kitchen needs to get more organized. Food was served out of order. We were served one of the main dishes first fairly quickly, and it was put in front of the wrong person. They said something like ' you know it needs to be stirred 20 times'. Not sure why and no pause to be able to be asked. When the main server came by we had to ask what it was and we also asked about our apps ... the server seemed confused and looked at order and said they were still coming. We waited a while before the apps were served and then waited for rest of main orders after that. (Meanwhile the dish served early had been sitting on the table for about 1/2 hour out of politeness of waiting for others to be served) Plenty of Servers but different ones dropped food off without any explanation leaving everything right on the end. Clearing plates out of the way was a little haphazard. Given they recently opened we understand some of the service issues. Our main server the was very nice, attentive but we definitely felt the newness and inexperience of the waitstaff. Not much explanation provided about the menu or small talk to welcome us in. The servers can use more training. The did not have some of the drinks on the menu and the small plates were not available yet. (Which we found out after we decided to order it) Edamame was ok (enjoyed the garlic shavings but otherwise rather plain salted edamame). Ramen/soba were delicious. Mochi noodle tasty. Not sure why it was called soba though Broth excellent. Premium don was good. Would have liked some pickled ginger and wasabi to go with the raw seafood Overall, food was tasty. Mensho Tokyo Hawaii officially became one of my favorite ramen spots in Oʻahu! One of my favorite ramen places from Japan has finally arrived here in Hawaiʻi, and nothing compares to the rich, authentic flavor of true Japanese ramen. The broth on both their Signature Ramen and Shrimp Gyo Ramen was incredibly rich, flavorful, and satisfying. Their scallop and corn dish was absolutely amazing -- honestly unlike anything I've tasted in town. Every bite was packed with flavor and quality ingredients. To top it all off, the matcha pudding was the perfect dessert to finish such an incredible and tasty meal. Definitely a must-try for ramen lovers in Hawaiʻi! My family has dined here 4 times since they've opened. We just got back from visiting Japan in March so it's nice to have ramen that reminds us of Japan. The staff is great! For a restaurant that is new, they operate pretty fluidly and I appreciate that. We've tried the enoki mushrooms, the GKO, the classic, the signature, the abura soba, and the bowl with uni and ikura. Also tried the matcha pudding which was a little watery, but tasted good nonetheless. Haven't had anything that wasn't good tbh and the price is pretty typical of ramen in Hawaii. It's also a cute spot. Not too small where it's cramped. I like the coziness. Will surely be eating here much more often. We don't mind the wait at all. read more

The ramen broth is dreamy creamy with flavors galore. The noodles are excellent and a little chewy. The star of the night was the wagyu truffle sushi. I couldn't believe how much shaved truffle were on the Wagyu, but the taste explodes in your mouth. Unbelievable. We got to Mensho at 4:50 on the grand opening, waited 4 hours to get in, was served and done by 10:00. The staff constantly checked on the line and gave out water a few times, which was very nice. The atmosphere inside was nice and gave off a fun vibe. All employees from the owner to the floor staff were very pleasant and friendly. Mensho is a great restaurant with awesome ramen, they seem to specialize in Japan Wagyu A-5 beef. Hopefully the wait times improve with time. Go get your fix. read more

Ambiance was nice and loved the decor and the loud greeting when we walked in. Our server took our orders and I can say that came out fairly quickly. The food was amazing and the flavor was on point. I just came back home to visit and was drawn to this restaurant due to a ton of Instagram posts about it and thought why not. Brought two friends along and went to reserve a seat which the wait is 2-3 hours but I did go in the evening time so that explains why. When I finally got my seat I notice the restaurant was smaller than I expected with a couple tables here and there but the server and the staff there were quick without looking stressed or overwhelmed. We ordered the Signature, Classic, and Yuzu Shio Garlic ramen 2 orders of sushi and some drinks. It did take some time mind you it is pretty crowded but everything was on point and really delicious. Two visits in one week!!!! Got Ryzen as our server again....she is just the sweetest fun and efficient server ever!!!! And the food did not disappoint....no pix on this trip to Mensho....just took in the cool vibes of the restaurant..... Entrees came out before appetizers, the ramen was very flavorful. Signature is what I had and I honestly was unique from all the different meat selections, all was great! Wasn't that much a fan of the mochi noodles but it still was good. The karaage chicken basically was orange chicken with a bunch of sauce and eggplants. The calamari was good just basic calamari and nori on top nothing crazy. The enoki was good as well, didn't come with a dipping sauce but came with seasoning which was confusing. Randomly stopped by Mensho at the mall after spotting this new spot and I'm so glad we did. We grabbed a number and honestly didn't have to wait long at all. Everything we tried was amazing. My son loved every single thing -- especially the calamari, wagyu bowl, classic ramen, and the matcha pudding. The ramen broth was super creamy and flavorful, and the matcha pudding was easily one of my favorite desserts. The workers were all so great and attentive the entire time, which made the experience even better. Loved the aesthetic and overall vibe too. Such a great addition to Kapolei and definitely becoming one of my new favorite ramen spots! read more

Mensho is a nice little spot for some elevated oishii food. We enjoyed the ramen, which is fulfilling. The meat was very tender. The ambience itself, is trendy. Was not as roomy, space wise, as I thought it would be. The service was decent but I'm sure it will get better over time since it just recently opened. The wait time was long (about 1 hr) but that too will get better as the new opening hype wavers. Prices are somewhat higher than expected but what isn't expensive in this day and age. tl;dr: Excellent food and service, but a *very* long waitlist. This isn't anyone's fault; the place is just that popular right now. Until the initial hype settles down, you should get there early or go on a less-busy day. ----------- Dad and I arrived at around 5:10-ish, only to discover that the waitlist was already estimated to be an hour long, with 15+ other groups ahead of us in "line". We were very surprised and a little dismayed, but since it was a new place, we decided to wait it out. As it turned out, it was actually almost two(!) hours before dad and I finally got seated - long enough that some other groups waiting with us eventually gave up and went somewhere else to eat. We probably should have gotten here as soon as they opened in order to get a faster spot (but even then, I think we would've had a wait time). Note that despite what some other reviews have said, I *don't* think this is a service or management problem. It just comes down to the fact that it's a relatively small place that a ton of people are interested in. It seems like the kind of restaurant that would benefit from a building that's double the size of the one they're actually in. (Then again, it's hard to say how much of that interest is because of their relative newness.) (Side-note: our server told us that Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun are their busier days.) ----------- Once dad and I finally got seated, however, the overall experience was... excellent! Great food, great service. The wait-staff all seemed very attentive. I downed half my water glass as soon as our server brought it, and another server swooped in to fill it back up. I also ordered a matcha/strawberry soda and that arrived within five minutes or so. Dad and I ordered ramen, while our neighboring tables got appetizers. The latter arrived very quickly, and dad and I got our ramen shortly after that. All in all, I was very pleased with the service. ----------- The ramen itself was excellent. I ordered the duck matcha ramen, while my dad ordered shrimp G.K.O. bowl. Compared to places like Goma Tei or Ramen Bones, everything felt significantly higher quality. The noodles in particular are probably the best ramen noodles I've had on-island - they've got a perfect chew. The dusk matcha is surprisingly mild thanks to the matcha oil and pistachios. There weren't quite as many veggies as I expected, but there were a lot *more* duck charsiu slices than I first thought. I could see it being a good choice for a noodle newbie (so to speak). Dad's ramen had a lot of shrimp inside, as well as some whole chunks of garlic (on top of the black garlic oil and chili oil). When I tried a quick scoop of his broth, it was extremely flavorful (I actually liked it more than my duck matcha broth!). He seemed extremely satisfied overall. This place is a joke. They really need to improve on their wait times. They that said 30-45 minutes and still was waiting to be seated. They relied on technology to do all the leg work for them. Went in to ask how much more longer s the wait. They said that it is an estimated time. They don't even know how to communicate with the customers who are waiting outside. They also turned people away and told them that they are closed and not excepting any more customers. They had 12 parties ahead and each party was 10 people. To me that is wrong. Food is good and fairly priced (quality of meat and produce are up to par). GKO Ramen broths are thick and rich. It's labeled spicy but it's not very spicy.. It's like level 1 spice (Sriracha is spicier than this). The meat in the soup doesn't show but it's covered underneath the garnishes (rich, tender & right amount of fat). Their carpaccio is amazing if you love zesty yuzu flavor. It's covered in matcha but the yuzu overpowers it.. honestly would come back for the carpaccio. The meat is not too thin & not too thick.. A5 Wagyu is as what it is. Nothing out of the ordinary. We ordered Truffle flavored and the truffle had a perfect flavor hit (not strong but they sure gave enough). Service is amazing and all waiters are there to serve you (not just one). Everyone also checks up on you. After returning home from Japan where that's where you get the real deal, this place is no different from what we get here locally. With the amount of staff working the joint they will definitely have to lay off people very soon. Like always, any new place in Ewa beach will be popular at first but it never lasts if the food is not outstanding. I would not be surprised if this place goes under by the end of the year and I'm usually good at predicting these things.
