If you walk into the refrigerator area (aka, meat room) and look a little lost, the guys will suggest different things you can get, and make. Plenty of great food. Some prepared-I would recommend the chicken finger sub-parm style or with lettuce and cheese or the italien cold cut-made with the add-ons you request. Also, fresh cut meats to take home. The marinated steak tips are the way to go every time! but the buffalo marinated chicken is also a good bet if you like a little spice. Best place for steak tips! I love this place. The staff is so nice and helpful when you are standing in the freezing room trying to decide which awesome meat to bring home. The original sirloin tips are perfectly marinated and tender. I would recommend this without a doubt. I also tried their turkey tips which are good but not as good as the sirloin tips. This place is good but if you're going for butchered meat it's expensive. The steak tips are great but people seem to think they are the second coming of Christ. Yes, they're really good but I've had better. For lunch this place is a good deal. I love this place! It's a little weird to spot the store from the street, it almost looks like a business park building from the main road. Once you get inside- oh my god, the original chicken wings recipe is so good! Called in to Doms for a special order for Pick up on Thanksgiving Eve. Ordered a Platter of there great Chicken Parm. Grandkids love it. A couple of our Grandkids just love the Chicken Cutlets. So the past few times we order the Chicken Parm with the Sauce and mozzarella on the side. This way every body is Happy. After picking up our order at 5PM we noticed the order was made with Sauce and Cheese on it. I called Doms and explained our Dilemma. Girl said they were sorry gives us 30 minutes and we will deliver correct order. They were closing soon and went out of there way to keep everyone happy. Use to be the best place in town for a steak tip sub but it has gone down hill. From the way they overcook the meat to the way its wrapped for takeout Dom's is no longer a top 10 sandwich shop. I just had my first Dom's experience. After living in Melrose (one town north) for 35 years and not knowing about this place, my daughter and her husband (longtime Dom's fan) gave me a $50 gift certificate. Boy, have i missed out for too long. Upon entering this not-fancy joint and looking puzzled, a gregarious butcher identified me as "a newbie" and gave me the tour of the cold packaged meat room, pointing out the highlights that "we're famous for." So much fun! I came home with regular Sirloin tips, Frankie's Chicken, and Sweet Sausages. I also bought a nice bottle of wine, which brought my total to over $50. After it was rung up, I realized that I'd left the house without my wallet (damn quarantine) and told the cashier that I'd put the wine back. The manager said "Enjoy your wine," and they comped me the $6 overage. What great folks! I will be back. read more

I order from there all the time , i work next to Doms and bunch of us order from there daily Fast delivery and great food! My favorite is buffalo checkin mack and cheese its just Amaaazing! They are always accurate taking the order if they forget something which is very rare to do so they come back again to deliver it to you! They are Great :) read more

What an incredible place. Sausage is the best anywhere. Recently got catering from here for a party and they did an amazing job. Very reasonably priced, great portions, and the food was amazing. Eggplant parm, rice pilaf, Mashed potatoes, chicken ziti broccoli, were excellent. My absolute favorite was the chicken cacciatore. It was amazing. The butcher shop and sandwiches are terrific. Place is awesome you can get your meat and also do breakfast and lunch. Lunch you have lots of choices from cold to hot. There is a hot buffet and also so many other things on the menu that makes it so much more than a deli. I ate some sausage cacciatore from Dom's today (catering) and it was SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD. The sauce was tangy and very potent with tomato flavor and the perfect blend of herbs. a great place get sandwiches for lunch, and their sausages are good, but if you're thinking of trying their tips, you might want to consult with a mortgage adviser. For $20, you'll get almost enough to feed two people, and your're paying for a lot of liquid weight in every bag. Dom's meats and subs are very good. The steak tips from here are probably the best around. The issue is the service. I have been there probably 5 times and every time some high school educated, meathead is waiting on me calling me "Boss or Chief." This place is okay. I'm really not sure. We walked in 15 minutes before closing and had the option to order an Italian sub, a tuna sub, or a chicken salad sub. The woman behind the counter said "we walk out the door at 6pm so this is all we have." If you shut down 90% of your menu at 5:45pm then close at 5:45pm, not 6pm. I have worked in restaurants for the last 15 years. If you close at 6pm, you really ought to be serving food until 6pm. So we ordered Italian subs and they really weren't very good but it could have been because she was rushing and just didn't care anymore. My first time here and I won't be back. read more

Ordered a large grilled chicken salad. Gotta say, I'm shocked they make customers pay for this garbage. The greens are disgusting! Many of them wilted and some of the lettuce is transparent looking. They should be ashamed. I understand it's not exactly marketed to be a salad bar but if youre gonna have it on your menu, try not to make your customers sick. Whats so hard about using FRESH LETTUCE? Their meat may be good, but their sadwhiches are horrible! Got a reuben sandwhich...worst reuben ever. First of all it was roast beef and not corn beef. Gross!! It was also very soggy. Yuck! Excellent Italian deli and butcher shop. I recommend Dom's Original marinated steak tips, delicious. Also very good grill for hot subs, great steak and cheese. good variety of Italian foods and cold cuts. The marinated meats are a little pricy ($8 per pound summer of '08) but worth the cost. All kinds of marinated flavors and meats (chicken, turkey, beef-all cuts, sausage, weiners, etc-a meat lovers delight). Will also cut meat to order. This place is bad for your cholesterol levels but good for your soul. read more

Dom's has the best grilling meats around, period. First, the butcher shop is more than affordable, and the meat is all of the highest quality. Second, their offerings of marinated steak, chicken and turkey tips are ridiculously delicious.
