I am SUPER picky so I was nervous when I saw the average rating on Yelp. But Slices average is a 5.0 with 1400 ratings! Long story short, we gave them a shot and I'm glad we did. I ordered a chicken finger dinner which comes with chicken fingers, fries and a salad. Hubby got a cheese calzone with mushrooms. My chicken fingers were fresh, crunchy and hot. French fries were crisp and ample. The salad came in a separate container and was fresh with a nice ample variety of veggies. The Greek dressing was light, I just wish there was more of it. They lost a point for the delivery. It was a little late and I wrote in two places on the order for them not to knock or beep (I have a crazy dog). They still knocked. read more

Of course when it comes to pizza, I have to give the rundown on places in the area that serve Massachusetts with its fanatical pie-dom. Andrea's was one of the places that I happened to try one night because I was lazy, and because most of the other stores in the area were closed. Coming home from work, the smell hit me, and that was all that I needed. As I have said before in reviews, if you have a pizza that makes me hungry just off of the smell, you got something special. Papa Gino's, Papa John's, Domino's, Pizza Hut, or any of them other commercial places don't that for me, so it take a little something extra. Andrea's Pizza is just that. As always, I played it safe and got a regular cheese, because if a pizza joint screws that up, you know that you wouldn't trust them to make a grilled cheese sandwich. When I got it home, even my landlord was sticking his head out the window taking a whiff of the pie. It was fantastic and the everything I wanted a pizza to be: Great cheese, excellent sauce, crust was good, a little extra grease, but not too much, and the pizza was still tasty a day later. I went back to Andrea's five more times and each time, the same thing. Consistency. That makes me smile and makes my stomach very happy. I definitely crown them the champs of Stoneham, and maybe some of the other nearby towns. I have had some of their subs as well and in line with the pizza, the subs were excellent as well. The quality is very good, the ingredients are excellent, and the staff can be a little moody sometimes, but they also do a very high-volume business, so I get it. Absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I ordered 2 wraps and we are both very pleased. My boyfriend got the buffalo chicken wrap in which we asked for diced tomatoes and they did just that. They listen to their customers and work to satisfaction. I got the chicken kabob wrap. The greek dressing in the kabob wrap is delicious and they're really big and good sized wraps leaving you feeling full and satisfied. We will be ordering from here every time now. I was told that if it costs extra, you don't get it. I tried to reason with the person on the phone, offered to pay, and he continued to be rude and short with me. The service was fast and they were friendly. She called me "hon" when my order was ready and "pal" after I paid. She was nice. The chicken salad sub was not so nice. I get one everywhere I go to compare. The chicken salad was whipped into a liquid form and almost purée. The bun and cheese were good but everything inside squirted out like you know what when I took a bite. I admit I order my chicken salad subs with particular instructions but they were all ignored. I had to remove several handfuls of lettuce (which I asked them to go light on) and am still tasting the quart of mustard (which I asked them to go light on). Many times I have called (prob annoyingly close to "closing time") yet I have never been turned down or even sensed an attitude. This place has one of the best pizzas in town.The soft crust with perfect amount of tomato sauce and cheese, it is definitely my to go place. My all time favorite is Veggie pizza with eggplant and buffalo chicken pizza. They have fast delivery as well. However the service can be a hit or miss. I have noticed that when I am ordering over the phone, most of the times my order is not taken down correctly, which is why I have to always ask them to repeat. I wanted to love Andrea's. I really did. Everything about my experience was great. The staff was so friendly and they kept their promise of having my pizza delivered to my door in under 30 minutes. The prices are also very reasonable. The pizza itself wasn't bad, it was just a little too thick for my taste. Andrea's serves up your typical Greek variety of pizza. The crust on the edge of the pizza was actually great - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cheese and toppings were also piled on in a very generous heap. My only true complaint was the sauce - it was a little lacking flavor. And the pizza as a whole was just a bit too doughy for me. I used to be a fan of Andreas. I now live in Reading, Ma right on the border of Stoneham. My girlfriend and I called for delivery and they told us no problem will be 30 minutes. 1 Hour later, my girlfriend called up to find out where the delivery was, and the Owner answered and said "we are not going to deliver to you, our drivers do not speak english, and I am not going to give them directions to you and hung up." I called back and the owner would not get on the phone, and he had another lady deal with me. She was more than accommodating and said she was sorry and delivered the food for us. Because of this lady, we decided to give them another shot, but this time we called in for a pick up. The Owner answered the phone and when he saw our number on the caller ID (I did not even get a chance to say I was calling for pick up), he just said we can not help you and hung up. There are plenty of places in Reading and Stoneham to go to other than Andrea's. If I were you I would try Stoneham House of Pizza, Johnnies Famous Roast Beef, Capri Pizza!! A nice local pizza/deli joint. The plain cheese pizza is cheesy and good. The specialty pizzas are also good; recently we're hooked on the Mediterranean. Salads here are GREAT. They will make them up to order, or just order off the list-- standards like Greek salad, and also tomato mozzarella, antipasto, etc. They put carrots on, which I love, and hot pickled peppers. Also croutons. Very fresh and tasty. Everyone who works there is super-nice, even when taking phone orders. Delivery is prompt-- always on time or early. It's a good location for take-out, too, although some Saturday nights the small parking lot fills up. A few small tables for eating there, which we've never done. read more

So I ordered a small chicken tender from here on a Tuesday which ran me about $7.00 two days later my account was charged over seven thousand .When I contacted the pizza shop showing them my bank statement and documents from my bank they were not only In compliant but the owner Charlie cursed me out and told me to leave there establishment with out any apologies accusing me of fraud.Once I advised him to check his merchant processing machine they went through and found that the mistake was on there behalf and not even then did the owner apologize it has been three days and I'm still waiting on the funds to be fixed in my account. I used to be a faithful patron of this restaurant. My family would order delivery at least once a week. I never write a review good nor bad experiences that I've had, but felt it extremely necessary to write on this place. I spent $48.00 on food only to receive an incorrect order. When I called to let them know, the owner got on the phone and was literally yelling at me, insisting that the order was correct, when it wasn't. The owner was so irate, that he was person to come to home and "replace" the correct items. Upon opening my door, he was very upset. My response was, do not yell at me! The continue to yell and eventually walked away without the correct items. I will NEVER do business with this establishment again!
