Food and service was amazing. Finally Killeen has a Peruvian spot. Definitely recommend this for a good Peruvian meal.

Food was super yummy. Came from out of town and my family enjoyed the fish and chicken meals. Everything was so good. Highly recommend.

Today I order 2 Cubans and 2 beef empanadas. It took 30 minutes to get my food but I've gone here awhile and excuse the long wait times. Finally, I get my food and rush back to work since the wait took so long. Sit down to eat my food, get done with a quarter of the sandwich when I see a COCKROACH smushed against the 2nd half of my sandwich. I called the restaurant 4 times asking for a manager and got hung up on every time. I clocked out and drove back to the restaurant with the sandwich. I asked for a manager and the dark haired lady behind the counter barely let me tell her the issue before she took the bag with the sandwich and went into the kitchen. She came back out with cooks following her. I don't speak fluent Spanish but I do understand it. The cooks were calling me a liar, saying it was impossible and that I should eat at home. The "manager" told another lady at the counter with red hair to refund ONLY one sandwich. I was not going to accept that when I couldn't eat any of the food I purchased after that discovery. I asked for the head manager/"her boss" and after a while, I got the right person who heard me and refunded both of my orders. Regardless, I will never come back here. I know a lot of people who come here including soldiers and I'll be sure to spread the word. My whole experience was disgusting and unacceptable including the service.

The outdoor tables are covered with blue umbrellas to protect you from the pesky sun. So I walk into Lima with a food blank slate. I was not super hungry, but I wanted something to quench my hunger. I ordered the Aguadito soup (chicken soup with rice and cilantro) and plantains along with a Alfajores cookie (made with dulce de leche). The soup came with chicken on the bone along with fluffy rice, peas and carrots. OMG...this soup was amazing!!! It tasted like something your grandmother would prepare. I am a picky when it comes to plantain (no green, hard plantain for me). The menu stated, "golden, caramelized sweet plantain, fried to perfection). Lima had me caramelized. My ideal plantain is sweet with a crispy edges. Lima's plantains are my new favorite! Don't tell anyone, but I ate them with my hands...like a little kid. The cookie was also baked to perfection...really enjoyed my cookie. When I walked in, I was immediately escorted to a table by a friendly hostess and server. She was quiet-spoken and super nice. This was an excellent dining experience...will definitely be back...sooner than later!

My husband ordered their tacu tacu limeno which was 19.95, came with garlic rice, few pieces of tomatoes, and beef in a watery stew. My pork was cooked well, and it was really juicy, and the sauce was flavorful and paired really well with the rice. My husband's beef was tender and cooked well too. His tasted similar to a filipino dish. Servers were nice and attentive. Prices are a bit steep for the amount of food they give you, but it could just be the area they're in. Next time we come, I would like to try their ceviche! Overall, it was a good restaurant. Parking can be a bit tough since parking spaces are tight and there's also a boiling crab in the same plaza; people can definitely park better too.

Majority of seating is out doors, plenty of shade, fans and misters there were also heaters sitting around when cool weather strikes. Our waitress was kind and knowledgeable about the offerings , she was sure to check in with us through our time here. The arroz mariscos was my favorite dish, topped with the spicy sauce they served separately, I did noticed there was 6 muscle shells but 3 of them were empty. we also had the following: causa limena - it was good I really liked the civiche on top, the chicken salad wasn't too amazing and the potato was intresting, the juice at the bottom was delish! arroz chaufa - this was a fried rice dish , it did have a little cinnamon in it so beware if you don't like cinnamon/ lomo à la hauncaina- I tried the noodles which were a great texture- they sauce it was served in was okay- wasn't crazy about it and I didn't try the meat but heard it was amazing! tacu tacu - pan fried potatoe pattie toooed w onions and cilantro, loved this dipped in the spicy sauce we had on the side! papa andinas -not a favorite, tastes plain with lots of flavorless seasoning dusted on them- they were okay once dipped in the sauces served on the side but the potatoes them self needed salt and maybe another seasoning to make them pop sarza criolla - just a mix a red onions, cilantro and seasonings- a few dishes were already topped with this mixture. 10/10 recommend checking them out !
