Very good Mexican food and delicious mangonadas. Small in door seating, I would recommend getting food to go or order grub hub.

This little place has a couple really unique Mexican dishes. I'll recommend a sandwich call "el Rey" or "The King". A fabulous little sandwich that you will not see on another menu. It is delicious. This visit I went with texanas fajitas and my with the chicken cheese enchiladas. Both absolutely mouth watering good. They have a EXCELLENT bakery too. Don't forget to grab a desert or take one with you..

I being visiting this place in the past and actually think is going to maintain the quality of the food intact, but this past Saturday morning me and my wife had the big disappointment, she order tacos dorados really good, even she have to share one with me because my CHILAQUILES WITH CHICKEN are SOGGY and SOUR, the sauce is not even thicker its watery and missing a lot of flavor not seasoning at all, but that not the worst part, the worst is all that plate looks soupy all the tortilla are not being fried, they just open the tortilla box, grave some and added to the hot sauce.... This picture is not ever from them this is just an example how you need to make the chilaquiles and how they have to look, or better, but I doubt it. Ohhh sorry not all is bad, the little kid you have to get the orders she is actually isreally amazing, polite, and good vibe waitress,

Don't be fooled by the pastry case and ice cream tubs, this place has a full blown menu. Bright and clean and small, this place does not serve liquor: no margaritas boooo. The choriqueso was small but loaded with meat and chips had some heft and flavor, unlike a lot of other Mexican places. The wet burrito and hand tacos were on par with most other places but the standout was the enchilada mexicanas which had the most amazing tomatillo sauce: fresh and pickled and complex: I could eat that all day. I felt the rice and beans were probably were not made from scratch and popped in the microwave but who cares about that part. We did skip dessert but the sweets on display looked amazing

    Half eaten & delicious

Dropped in for an authentic Mexican breakfast of huevos rancheros. Greeted at the door by a sweet older lady who would also be cooking our breakfast. A great find on the southside of Indianapolis.

I went here for the first time a few days ago, I thought it was just a pastry shop, the costumer service is excellent, the food exquisite, though I did gain 5lbs from this plate it was totally with it, I even had to share because I couldn't finish it. This plate and drink is about $12.50 or somewhere near this amount, totally would try it for curiosity but not my fav Mexican eatery.

Naturally, I pulled up the Yelp app to search for something open nearby for recommendations. Turns out Delicia is one of my friend's boyfriend's favorite restaurant in Broad Ripple. They both frequent the restaurants in that area as they live in the neighborhood so that's definitely saying something and I can see why based on the vibe and atmosphere! We were only there for drinks (which were amazing) and they were definitely worth making another trip for. I ordered the "Pulparindo" which is slightly spicy tamarind vodka, fresh mango puree, raw sugar simple, lime juice and a yummy tajin rim. I would have had more of it wasn't last call when we placed our order. Another popular choice was the "FIRE 'N' Ice" made with el charro jalapeño infused reposado tequila, hibiscus I basil I habanero reduction, tres chiles infused ice ball. Beautiful presentation with all the drinks. Our waitress was great and attentive. I also really liked how I felt instantly in a better mood in that space and I will be going back again for dinner soon.

The service was quick and staff were friendly. We LOVED the queso and Johnny Cakes for appetizers. Everyone's meal was delicious and well portioned. The ingredients feel fresh and intentional with every dish. Overall, I wouldn't consider this restaurant a "must try" but a very solid option! If you're in town and looking for a more upscale experience with a Caribbean/Spanish cuisine then I would recommend this spot.

It was a cool-looking restaurant and felt like a cozy spot. My food came out looking amazing, and it tasted great. I got the Mac n Cheese Donuts and the Grilled Crispy Chicken Burrito. My issue was mainly with the service. From the time my friend and I were seated, it took 15 minutes for us to be greeted, and we had been sitting there for more than 20 minutes before we received our drinks and had a chance to order our food. This was during the early afternoon with very little foot traffic, so I personally don't see why there was such a delay in what could've been a smooth experience. I also asked for a to-go box but was never brought one, so I had to leave my leftovers behind in order to walk to work and make it there on time. I would try this place again, but maybe next time I would sit at the bar to make the interaction quicker and easier.

WOW! This is my new favorite restaurant!…read more I grew up in Southern California; Mexican food is comfort food. As a new(ish) vegan, I was resigned to cooking my own, whenever I craved Mexican food... but at Tlaolli, I was spoiled for choice! I ended up trying the hibiscus taco (clever, creative, with a wonderful melding of spices and a punch of bright acidity), the tofu mole taco (smoky and creamy, with well-balanced spices), and the Nonono tamale (no meat, no dairy, no gluten), which was roasted poblano peppers and soy chorizo with black bean paste and corn masa (a bit dry, but super flavorful and great chew). And there was housemade tamarindo, which I have always loved, and it wasn't over-sweetened, which I loved even more. Tart and bright and refreshing! His Goatness the Hubbins got a mixed platter of vegan tacos (I was proud of him), and dad got meat items, which he enjoyed (the owner let us know all meats are all natural, with no hormones). And we all shared salsa and chips, which was smooth and well-flavored, with lots of spices but only mild heat. (I could have drunk the stuff.) Atmosphere is intimate and cozy, with a few tables inside the colorful cafe and a few painted picnic tables outside. Everything is clean and tidy, including the restroom. Service was friendly, sociable, and passionate about the food they're creating. Seriously, I love this place. Can't wait to try more of the vegan menu options! (I fell on my food so fast I totally failed to get pictures... but the pics at https://www.tlaolli.org are accurate!)
