    Enchiladas Plate
    Ellyzha A.

A great restaurant to get away from the crowds. It's tucked away at a prime spot near the iconic Solvang Windmill. There's a few tables indoors and "outdoors". Service is welcoming. My boyfriend ordered the enchiladas plate while I ordered the carnitas tacos plate. He thought the food was a bit salty though it's a great portion for the price. I enjoyed the tacos though the beans were a bit too salty for my liking. Prices are extremely reasonable. Overall - the food was comforting & came out in a timely manner.

What a wonderful hidden gem. It's been a couple years since I been in town and I just remembered how delicious the nachos were the last visit. Glad I was able to stop in tonight. The nachos were fabulous. The Carnitas excellent. Their salsa Verde is out of this world. the Carne Asada tacos were equally amazing. Keep up the good work.

The city was having their Christmas parade this weekend. We were starving and there were so many people everywhere we ended up Don Nachos Café , which was good idea because the we enjoyed our burritos all the little small for the price . They were very good. They have nice and spicy sauce that you can ask for which is orange in color, so if you want something a little spicier. we enjoyed our meal. It's a small little place away.

This place definitely exceeded our expectations. The place and the menu are small, but it has big flavor and great quality food. The staff here was very friendly accommodating, and the habanero salsa here is to die for.

Service & ambience is traditional...the food portions are not! The burritos are tiny, i get Trumps tariffs are a roadblock but if your charging $12 a burrito I expect a lot more. They didn't even bother giving us sour cream. Comes to show you can't always trust reviews.

Always meant to try Don Nachos and finally got to this trip. Great place for takeout. I always judge based on the chips and these were incredibly fresh and had an amazing salt ratio. Guac tasted fresh. Would have loved if the tacos were available a la carte since I never really eat the rice and beans on the platter, but the al pastor and asada street tacos tasted great with the green salsa. Cashier was very friendly and takeout was packed very well. Actual restaurant is pretty small, but I would come for takeout again!

We stopped her for a quick lunch. The restaurant is tucked away from the main walkway. The food was decent and the portions were on the smaller side. I went back to order a side of tortilla chips for my daughter but I got charged to chips and salsa. No biggie.

    What is advertised.

Idk if i was here on a bad night but instead of me explaining how the food was not good, overpriced, and took forever ill just let the pictures speak.

My teenagers loved it! Carne asada torta! With guacamole, lettuce, beans, and jalapeños.?

PF is an exceptional restaurant that serves exceptional food. I've only been here twice and the second time was better than the 1st. My only disappointment was that I couldn't get what I got on my 1st visit in February. And ya know what? That's ok. It presented the opportunity to try new things! This time I got at their French dip sandwich with a side of potatoes. OOF! If it's on the menu do try it and wash it down with a cold beer (or wine is nice too). The service was as excellent as the 1st time and the vibe also perfect. The patio area is pet friendly so sure bring your fur baby along (they'll bring out some water for them too!) Overall: Yes there are many fine dining establishments in Solvang to try but I'm telling you...this is the only spot I want to stay true to. This place is non-descript yet just off the main park downtown, and an easy walk from most of the major hotels in town, or the central parking lot - plus lots of street parking as well. It seems rather small, with one area for bar seating and small tables, plus a larger dining area "next door" to the bar, but I like the bar ambiance, so it may be challenging on busy tourist days. Luckily, I travel on non-busy days and have always had a good seat. The ambiance is great, with a typical, colorfully decorated pub feel with TVs offering an invitation to relax and have a pint - or two! The menu is varied, and I had planned for what I wanted, but when the server/bartender/boss offered the daily special as an option, I quickly jumped at the chance. The special was a queso dip with house-made chips, and I had to try it! Sadly, I also ordered my usual, the Cobb salad. Sadly, because after the "appetizer" arrived, I quickly realized the full consequences of the saying "your eyes are bigger than your stomach!" The dip and chips were plentiful in both, and for me would have made a great meal on their own. But I was committed and managed to finish the salad. On my previous visit, I had the mac 'n cheese and the Cobb salad, along with a Guinness dark! That was sooo tasty as well! The food at this visit was great, and the service was as well. Sam, who is the owner, bartender, server, and jack-of-all-trades, is always friendly, professional, and efficient, no matter how busy it is, and this visit was the only one outside the kitchen. If you're in the area, give them a try! And leave room for dessert - I have yet to do that, but you can learn from my mistakes!

The spicy wings had great flavor--more on the spicy side than "hot," which honestly made them even better and more enjoyable. The Reuben with onion rings was done right--classic, satisfying, and the onion rings were perfectly cooked with a great crisp. The bread on the sandwich had the perfect crisp as well, which really brought it all together. And the standout was the spicy melt burger. My friend ordered it medium rare, and it came out perfectly medium rare--juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly as requested (which doesn't always happen, so that's worth noting). Everything was executed really well, and you can tell they take pride in the kitchen. Easy 5 stars. Would definitely come back.

It is, in our opinion, the best restaurant in Solvang. Every meal was exceptional, and the service was consistently outstanding. At our first breakfast, Taylor provided friendly, attentive service that set the tone for the rest of our visits. That evening, we enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer, beet & burrata salad, short rib grilled cheese and black tie burger. Every dish was absolutely delicious. On our second breakfast visit, Sandra took wonderful care of us. She is such an asset to Craft House--knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely welcoming. Sophia, who brought out our food several times, always greeted us with the biggest smile. You can tell she truly loves what she does.
