Didn't have a good experience at this spot the customer service is lacking and my chicken had Entirely too many feathers on it. This place has got to do better at this location.

I love Don Pollo! I seem to live really close to one every time I move Their Peruvian chicken is just sooo tasty and you can smell just how good it tastes from the moment you step through the door. The staff greeted me when I walked in and took my order right away. I didn't have to wait long for my order. I ordered their Half chicken with two sides. My two sides were Chaufa rice and plantains! While the sides were really good, The star of the show, without a doubt, is their Peruvian chicken. Marinated to perfection with a blend of Peruvian spices and slow-roasted to achieve that golden, crispy skin while keeping the meat juicy and flavorful. Portion sizes are generous! I ate this meal for dinner and then lunch the next day! This location also has parking right out front and you can sit inside to eat if you want. They have small tables that are minimally decorated. Overall, will be back here again!

I was in the area with a friend and wanted to grab something to eat. They brought me here and mentioned it was Peruvian, so that piqued my interest. The first thing I did was look on Yelp for their rating - I was so relieved to see that it was 4 stars out of 5 (made me feel more comfortable in ordering). As we entered the business, the first thing you see (right in front of you) is a case with lots of drinks (juices, sodas and water). To the right of that is the counter where the cashier will take your order and behind them is the kitchen. On this visit I ordered a meal - 1/4 Dark Chicken with 2 sides. They also offer bigger portions of the chicken, Soup & Salad and Specialty Dishes. For my 2 sides I got Plantains and Rice. The Rice is normally served with Beans, but I opted out from having the beans. The chicken was cooked perfectly as I remember enjoying the pieces as I ate; The rice was was cooked great (shelly) and the plantains were plentiful and made right. Other sides I would love to try is their Yuca, Potato Salad or Mashed Potatoes, French Fries, Mac & Cheese and Corn Pico (they have other sides in addition to what I listed). The price I paid total, for 1/4 chicken, 2 sides and a drink, was very affordable and they gave a good enough portion of the items as well. I would love to come back and try more stuff, maybe even one of their desserts (their menu shows 4 with Tres Leches being one of them). There are several tables and chairs available to sit on and eat at, but you can do carry-out too. They do have 2 restrooms in the back (one for female, the other for male - only for one person each). The biz is located in the same plaza as Lotte Plaza Grocery, but at the other end, near the CVS.

Don Pollo surpassed my expectations! It was very busy when we arrived, but there is a lot of parking in a lot in front. The 1/4 chicken dark meat was very flavorful, and the rice & beans and steamed veggies were good sides. I will definitely go back here for Peruvian chicken compared to other places in the area!

A great lunch spot with lots of options. The dining area is a bit small for larger groups but the food was flavorful and the portions were huge.

The chicken is done nicely with a great spice blend. Enjoy the roasted vegetables side and the black beans. Ample seating and pretty fast service. I come here now a couple times each month. My only complaint is that they don't have WiFi

Shredded salad was tasty. Steak was a bit tough. You get a choice in how the egg is cooked. Fries were typical. Food was good but nothing really overwhelmed me in terms of flavor. Nice set-up but they are still awaiting their liquor license (as of Jan. 2026), so they only serve non-alcoholic juices, sodas and water (for now) and hot teas on the weekends. The servers are very sweet and really know the food and menu. However, I did observe they are either a bit inexperienced, or the place is still getting things in order-- as they carry the food out without trays. I observed one server carrying a soup very close to the rim with bare hands. Now, for the food. An excellent array of varied dishes from different regions of Peruvian cuisine. My husband and I have tried our fair share of Peruvian food both in Peru and across various U.S. states. It's our go-to-food. The food here had its highs and lows. The Good & The Bad: Grilled octopus was delicious with a generous portion of everything served on sizzling skillet. Chorros à la chalaca (fresh mussels) served with pico. Both had a lovely presentation and savory flavors. Lomo saltado (sautéed beef tenderloin pieces) with fettuccine à la Huancaina served over a bed of fettuccine in a spicy cheese sauce (IYKYK). The Huancaina sauce was on point as was the sauce for the lomo--The (lomo) beef however was not. Beef was overcooked and tough to chew. And being a Peruvian spot the Classic Ceviche was a work of art but the flavor and the spice-level was lacking. Finally, I asked for a side of sauce and was charged for 2 oz. of sauce. They also tacked on a service charge fee for a table of two. Overall, the ambiance was nice and friendly but the food coming out of the kitchen did not warrant a $130 bill. Honestly, the prices are comparable for this kind of food. But I would expect better product and less hidden fees. I hope this small business will keep improving I'd love to give it another chance once they work out the kinks-- but judge for yourself!

The paella is a huge portion that honestly could feed 2 people. Service is also quick and the staff check on their diners for beverage refills and experience. I also ordered their passion fruit mojito for any alcohol drinkers. You can barely taste the alcohol in it. I wouldn't say it is a formal restaurant at all but could potentially you could come in slightly more formal for a date night. It is definitely family friendly and there's plenty of seating.

The menu has a decent number of options, not too overwhelming, however definitely suggest waiting to hear about the specials as there are many and none are on the menu. We ended up ordering the Ossobuco, Duck Breast, and Grilled Trout (all specials). Ossobuco: Super flavorful, very tender, comes with a rich silky sauce that you'll want to mix all of your rice with (comes with a side of white rice). Highly recommend! Duck Breast: Came in a cast iron pot over rice (almost like a paella) and a side of marinated red onion. Our server suggested mixing the onions into the rice which was a good move. I did wish there was more duck to rice, because the amount of rice it comes with is huge compared with the two pieces of duck which didn't have much meat on them. The rice quickly became the star of the dish, and I'd still recommend it even if you don't get much duck because of the rice. We ended up not even eating much of our white rice because of how good this rice was! The crispy bits at the bottom were excellent! Grilled Trout: Good, although nothing mindblowing. But definitely good to have a lighter, healthier dish to balance out everything else we ordered. The fish was flaky and cooked well. They brought out alfajores (Peruvian cookie) with a candle and sang happy birthday for my dad which was nice. Very sweet caramel filling on the inside and although not my type of dessert, it was very unique. Kind of surprised that it was both me and David's first time here after hearing about it for so long, and definitely a place we would visit again!

Unfortunately, my recent experiences at La Brasa have been very disappointing. The biggest issue has been the customer service. The person answering the phone has been consistently rude, has taken our orders incorrectly multiple times, and instead of trying to resolve mistakes professionally, argues with customers. That is simply not the level of respect or professionalism I expect from a business that has been part of the community for so many years. I have also noticed that the food quality has declined compared to what it used to be. It's disappointing because this restaurant once had an excellent reputation. I sincerely hope management addresses these concerns by improving customer service, training staff to communicate respectfully, and restoring the quality that made so many people loyal customers. I'd be happy to update my review if I see meaningful improvements.

I really enjoy the food but of course, it's the art that drew me in the most in the first place -- even when first seeing it online years ago, I found the look of the logo to be very visually appealing. As well, this is much of what I so liked during my first dine-in experience. The only thing I didn't like was that it was rather loud. Well, it also happened to be very cold but it was very cold out that night and I was stuck wearing warm-weather clothes from the warmth earlier in the day, so ... it was a bit uncomfortable but also, I was having to consider someone else's comfort who found it to be much louder & colder ('freezing,' in fact!), than I did. The metal chairs are rather hard. There are booths with soft cushions, too -- so you have your choice. The coolest thing is if you're a fire-lover, sometimes they cook with what appears to be a flash-frying method and the flames are really big and bright -- so cool to see! If you eat with your eyes, there are many visual treats to be had here! If you just eat with your mouth, there are plenty of tasty treats! It's an all-around, all-over taste and other-senses sensation! (Filling, too -- I believe you will not leave here hungry!) Overall, I highly recommend it!

I ordered a so-called chicken soup which it said chicken, cilantro and vegetables. We ordered coffee and it came freshly brewed! If you come here, make sure you ask questions to your server. The manager told us that they were working on updating the menu. Hopefully this will help when ordering and explaining each item efficiently. Overall experience was ok.

The deviled eggs were wonderful and came with an extra kick thanks to the jalapeno. Gnocchi with parmesan, carrots, and asparagus was creamy, comforting, and filling. The lamb over hummus, with their rich homemade gravy, rivaled any amazing lamb dish I had anywhere. The portions were phenomenal. I have been to places that give half as much with the same prices.
