I told every place I went to about this shop and how rude they are and have told lots of brides since as well. The person in charge at this place is quite rude and asks irrelevant questions when you're trying to purchase a dress. I don't understand why the owner needs to know the exact location of your wedding. She asked where it was I kindly mention the city then she asked the exact location & it felt odd but I mentioned it (I didn't have to but I did) and when I told her she said "oh that's way too far for me" which I was still cordial but taken aback because it shouldn't matter one bit where my venue is she isn't a guest? She's neither officiating it nor assisting with anything beyond the dress itself. During my visit, I felt very unwelcome, even though I had all the necessary details ready, like the venue, guest count, and date. Which again, how does the guest count help them help you choose a wedding dress??? I had even checked their website beforehand! What truly matters is that brides feel comfortable asking questions without pressure and are made to feel welcome and not rushed. Planning a wedding is already stressful, and my experience there only added to that stress when the lady told me, "you're not ready to buy a dress" due to some questions I had while wanting to see their selection. Although she did show me two dresses from a rack behind the desk, her attitude was very passive-aggressive. The way they run their store is quite unusual; it might work for some, but for brides just walking in to see what the shop is all about and being met with a condescending attitude is disheartening. The stylist who assisted us was Rosa, and she was beyond incredible and helpful. She selected several dresses that she felt were suitable and accentuated our body types. I truly appreciated her expertise, knowledge, and patience in helping us achieve the goal of finding "the dress." Thankfully, I found a beautiful off-the-shoulder dress in the color Cinnamon that was also very reasonably priced. I'm grateful to Rosa for creating such a positive experience overall. I also look forward to returning to David's Bridal to pick up my dress and complete necessary alterations.

After going through the photos a week later, I felt like I made the wrong decision. Since then, I have been searching for my dream dress. I decided to only invest my time going into highly rated stores. I searched above and below my home/venue location, which included a few stores in Sacramento, one store in Yolo County and one in a small town called Oakdale. I have been to countless wedding dress stores throughout Sacramento, but none of the dresses made me feel like "I found the one". I felt pressed by every bridal consultant and rushed. Until I went to my final store on my list KC bridal in Oakdale! From the moment I walked into the door, I felt welcomed and supported. Ashley and Kaylee made me feel comfortable and calm during the entire process. Ashely took my mom and me around the store and had us choose any dresses that I would be interested in. After we made our selection, Ashley helped me throughout the entire process. Kaylee came into the store a little later. Ashley and Kaylee answered our questions and addressed our concerns. Kaylee is a wonderful business owner, she is knowledgeable about wedding dresses, the wedding dress industry, and provides her honest opinion. After viewing all the dresses at the store, I can honestly say Kaylee takes her time, is meticulous, and uses her knowledge/expertise to only select the best and most beautiful dresses for her store. After trying over ten beautiful dresses, I found two that I loved the most. After trying them both on again with a veil, I was truly able to picture myself walking down the aisle to one. I finally found the dress that I could imagine my fiancé (husband) seeing me in, the dress the I will get married in, and the dress I always dreamed of for a while now. I felt bad trying on my dress on two additional times, but my future mother-in-law really wanted to see me try on the dress over Facetime and so did my sister. Both Ashley and Kaylee were so kind to my future mother-in-law and my sister. They took time to answer any questions my mother-in-law or sister had about my dream dress. My appointment was for 1 1/2 hours but we stayed for an additional 1 1/2 hour, due to contemplating on my two favorites and trying on "the one", my wedding dress twice, but Kaylee and Ashley are kind, patient, trustworthy, and professional. It was truly a refreshing experience. I finally went to a store where I felt happy and safe. I still can't believe I was able to find my dream dress. I couldn't thank KC Bridal, Kaylee, and Ashley enough! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Yes, this store is in a small town, the store is not located downtown, and some may consider it the middle of nowhere, but you will not regret the drive or your appointment. The store truly has beautiful high-quality dresses that you are unable to find anywhere else. I am excited to attend their veil/accessories event in March! Already made my appointment.
