This is our 2nd time here in a week and we are so glad we found this place! Today, we had Chorizo con Huevos, Texas Margarita and Mimosa. Daniella was our server and she was AMAZING! Costumer service. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. The waitress song happy birthday with a big smile. Food was great, plates are huge you could share with a person. Prices are very reasonable for the good food. They need to do homemade salsa. Place clean with Mexican music but it wasn't loud it was a nice volume for a great conversation. The place was clean and the settings separate enough from other tables. We was there late near closing but, the waiter was extremely polite and kind. A Naples standard for me. This place has fresh tasty dishes and delicious margaritas. I enjoyed the shrimp fajitas, shrimp burritos, and Steak Don Tequila. The decor is colorful and fun, the service is prompt even when it is full, and the prices are reasonable for Naples. In high season reservations are a must. I bring my kids here often and it is a great choice for families with young children. Maybe not the best place for a romantic meal for two but for a fun family gathering it can't be beat. read more

I Finally tried Casamigos Mexican restaurant today that took over the building that was formerly Flaco's Mexican restaurant just south of Pine Ridge Road on US41. The place is towards the back of the strip plaza which has plenty of parking space. The interior decor has a lot of beautiful Aztec/Mayan paintings on the walls and furniture giving it a nice fiesta ambience. We were sat quickly by the hostess and and our server greeted us right away and was friendly. The menu had a lot of items to choose from including kid menu options. The chips and salsa were just okay and lacking flavor. The salsa was bland and the chips didn't seem all that authentic and more of the type you could find at your local grocery store. I ended up having the AL Pastor special which came with three soft shell tacos with rice and beans. The Al Pastor tacos were delicious and full of plump juicy pineapple and marinated pork. I didn't care for the rice as it seemed a bit over cooked and had little texture and not seasoned. The wife had the Cheese Enchiladas and felt her dish lacked flavor and didn't care for the enchilada sauce. Our server was super nice, friendly and attentive who did a great job making sure we were taken care of. Although my tacos were delicious, everything else seemed a bit bland and lacked proper seasoning. Unfortunately I can't say will be back as there are other places we feel that are much better in town. read more

10/10 would recommend. The flavor of my meal alone is what dreams of Mexican food are made of. My husband enjoyed the chimichanga with chicken, I enjoyed a steak burrito. This is the most authentic I have found in Florida. I've tried several restaurants from Orlando to Miami and this beats everyone by far! As someone from the west coast and used to authentic Mexican food this is a go to! Highly recommend their tacos, guacomole and cheese dip. And don't forget the margaritas! Yum. We drove up from Marco Island to visit this restaurant because it was highly recommended by our waiter at another restaurant when we inquired about Mexican food - and boy was it great! Here's why: Don Tequila is decorated with a Mexican theme including beautiful reliefs on the chairs. Did someone say Tequila flights?? Oh, that was me. Yes, this restaurant has an extensive range of Tequilas and you have flight options! Be still my heart! That was my favorite part but wait, there's more. Their steak and shrimp fajitas were the best I've ever had. Seriously delish! The waitress was overwhelmed as one of the staff had called in and the place was packed. When she brought my tequila flights, I knew she forgot which one was which because she was super busy so I didn't complain. But as luck would have it, a man came by and asked me which Tequila was my favorite. I explained the situation and he introduced himself as Diego, the manager, and apologized. I said no problem. Everything was wonderful and they had a great kids menu that includes burgers and grilled cheese for kiddos not feeling adventurous. The nachos (pictured) were great. No big deal, will definitely go back since they made it right when I pointed it out to them. Bummer that the happy hour is BOGO drinks since one is enough for me, wish they had a half price option for just one. I don't know who is writing these reviews but naples location is a Fail. 1. Taco salad is small with very little lettuce (it's supposed to be a Salad with meat as a topping) 2. When a customer orders soda water, you don't charge unless you're padding the bill. It's essentially carbonated tap water & costs penny to nothing. You especially don't charge for water when liquor has been ordered with already high margins. 3. When closing the check BEWARE that the tip options are deliberately backwards and start (left to right) with 30% then 15 then 20. I've never seen that before & it's a deliberate setup to trick some customers. Big no - many far better choices. read more
