First, the couscous is not the usual couscous we've all had. This is Lebanese couscous, which is so different as to be unrecognizable as "couscous". It is so very good, I could have a whole meal of that and be happy. I generally prefer baked falafels, but this fried one was great; crispy on the outside, and soft and green on the inside. I've avoided dolma in the past, as I had it once years ago and it was terrible. But this dolma was good enough for me to stop avoiding it in the future. People were very nice, and it took less than 10 minutes for my order to be ready. It's a grocery store with a deep selection of many items, such as spices, pastas, canned fish, .... (see photos). I enjoyed this enough, I came back again about a week later for another Sampler Plate meal. My only slight peeves are, I wish there were a bit more to the salad (which isn't even listed as one of the sampler items, so a bit hard to complain!), and that the pita had some whole grains in it (I find white wheat boring).

The store has a huge selection of hard to find Mediterranean products. The restaurant was very clean including the bathroom. 5/4/2026

Came here because it's close to my work and it's pretty good! I would give it a 3.5 but rounded up…read morefor them. I got the chicken shawarma plate and the serving is huge! I definitely could have taken half home and still be full. The plate comes with chicken shawarma on rice with a pita/saj, and Tzatziki sauce, salad, and hummus. The chicken and rice were flavourful! But the chicken was too dry for my soft mouth. Hummus had a little too much olive oil for my taste (at first bite it tasted like I was eating actual olives, which I don't like) but was overall creamy. I didn't like the salad or Tzatziki sauce but that's just my flavour profile! The salad itself was really fresh and vibrant and Tzatziki sauce is probably as normal. Service is much like a food court. Self-serve, self-seat, no water provided. It's a small restaurant with around six tables.

Friendly service and tasty food. However I found the service was very slow even there were no other…read morecustomer. After I ordered my chicken shawarma plate, the counter guy was just walking around inside of counter. Other lady was preparing my Baba ganoush in the kitchen area. It took 5 mins finally he STARTED to prepare my meal. So strange. Food was good. The rice, pilaf had good broth flavour. But not like dull rice, it's simple pilaf. Hamus was very very creamy. Entrance is back door. Front door which is facing to 152nd street is only exit. That makes sense because their parking is back door side.

A very tiny yet highly acclaimed restaurant in Vancouver near Yaletown-Roundhouse SkyTrain station…read more We stumbled upon this place while walking right at opening, so we got first pick at one of the 3 tables for dine-in. Definitely try to go at opening or when it is not busy, as the dine-in experience is memorable - they place your order in a long wooden board to make it a beautiful spread. We got the Manoush'eh Special which has ground beef, pomegranate, etc and Sham Style which is shaped like a boat. We also tried the yogurt drink which pairs well with the dishes. The only con is that this place does not have free water, but it is no problem to have our own water bottles supplementing the meal. We also got the lentil soup which is pretty good. Definitely sufficient to share one to try, but the Manoush'eh outshines the rest of the items. I loved the quality and texture of the Manoush'eh and just the breads in general. It is a lot of food for 2 people so if you want a snack, you can definitely just share 1. Some people go here for the wraps too. Overall, an affordable restaurant with good food. We got the most expensive items and it was less than 50 CAD all-in, but a lot of the items are around the 10 CAD mark.
