I searched online for emergency providers and they were one of the first on the list to come up. I was told that the first available appointment was more than 2 weeks away, and emergency status didn't matter. Their schedule is full until then. Scheduling appointments when you have an eventual opening is NOT emergency dental care, it is what literally every service provider offers all the time. They specifically advertise a service that they do not offer at all.

They are a busy office so sometimes scheduling can be pushed out but I've always gotten a call about openings and have been able to get in earlier than expected. They have provided excellent communication and referrals when needed. I have been so happy with my hygienist. My teeth always feel so clean after. She's efficient and thorough. Dr. Brittany Bowen is awesome. She is kind, patient, and truly listens. I know she is always doing what is best for me and my health. If you are in the area, this location is bus-friendly and there is a coffee shop in the same building if you need to do work or wait before/after appointments.

Each room is set up like a pretty standard dental office, very clean. On my first visit, they told me they like to do a full set of x-rays just to get an idea of what my teeth are like overall, but my insurance didn't cover for a full set. So they told me they will still do the full x-ray set, but just write it as whatever my insurance will cover, and they will cover the remaining cost. How great is that?!? The staff is wonderful and courteous, also very punctual. I'm never waiting in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes. The cleanings are done nice and quickly, I'm in and out in less than an hour. Dr. Vaandehaar is great! He always makes suggestions for me to consider, but is never pushy about getting anything done that isn't absolutely necessary. For example, when I had a cavity, he obviously strongly recommended that I take care of it asap. But when it came to some preventative things, he told me what was going on, and what some options are and said it's something to think about. The only complaint that I have is, they do send A LOT of appointment reminders via email and text, multiple times leading up to your appointment. Yes, you can totally opt out of it, so I guess this is really on me. Also, TDC is the only place that staff actually came in and sang happy birthday to me during my cleaning. It was so sweet! They also have consistently been the most thorough and the most comprehensive dentists I have even been to. They truly treat your teeth and your oral health as an important part of your body health, not a separate one. Dr Boucher asked a series of questions regarding my sleep, my medications, and my work, that I was never asked before. Turns out, it was playing a role in a problem I have, and we're now able to fix it. The clinic is small but not stuffy or congested, and very comfortable. There are bright colors, plants, plenty of sunlight, and nature sounds playing very low in the background. If you have anxiety about medical and/or dentist care, this helps a great deal. If you don't, it'll still be very pleasant. Everything is extremely clean but still comfortable, and I always feel safe going there. But Dr. Kaveh blew my mind today. I was in a bike accident a few days ago and smashed up my face pretty badly (in the hospital for a couple of days). He and his team saw me as soon as I got out, and they were so much gentler than the dentist at the hospital as they inspected and did X-rays. They also set me up with an oral surgeon. THEN Dr. Kaveh met me at the oral surgeon's office to make sure everything went smoothly, and I'm so glad he did because although the surgeon did a good job, he didn't know me and wasn't as good at answering my questions as Dr. Kaveh was. ALSO Dr. Kaveh then met me back at home and helped me get my retainer in, which I was scared to do and it did hurt going in but it has made my mouth feel so much better since. Every office visit has been smooth, friendly, efficient, clean, high tech, and helpful but this was seriously beyond 5 stars. Cannot recommend enough!!!
