I was really impressed with the calzones from Donatos Pizza, (one piece is missing because I didn't take a picture until I realized how good it was)! The crust is really light and well flavored. Filling is plentiful, well balanced, and well cooked. This particular order was from the Englewood location. I was pleasantly surprised! The Chicken Mariachi was delicious, as always. I also tried their new plant based meats. Actual pizza pictured is the CAULIFLOWER CRUST Cauliflower Works. The cauliflower crust is really good. The plant based pepperoni was SO plain and disappointing. Definitely will not be ordering that again. They also burnt the garlic cheese bread. Manager on duty 6-19-26 was rude and condescending Showed up at the time the AI told us too. Lady said it would be 10-15 min. I told them to cancel order. The smart ass MOD said it's only going to be 4 min. 10 min later I pulled back to wind. And he had a smart ass remark. So I asked if he was stupid. Yes he is. When my wife got there she asked for order by giving our last name. 1st problem-automated order did not spell the last name correctly. Girl at window said we don't have nothin for that name. My wife was dumbfounded!! 2nd problem- The name they had on the ticket was spelled wrong but is pronounced like our last name. 3rd problem-The girl said we told them the wrong name. They kindly took our order directly from the drive-thru, 15 minutes before close last night and it meant so much to us- we were tired after a 12-hour drive and not sure the process here (next time, we'll order then drive over). The pizza was solid, though they cut it funny here- instead of triangles, it was cut like a grid. I'm not sure if I feel bad about myself for eating 6 pieces of pizza in one sitting haha. We ordered a large pepperoni and it was loaded up! Overall, I am very grateful for their kindness and patience, and the food was great. I placed an online order, the delivery time came & passed with no delivery in sight. After waiting OVER 2 hrs, it finally arrived. Had Donatos been honest about their lengthy delivery I wouldn't have entertained an order with them, I would have ordered from a pizza company with more accomidating times I was in agreeance to, but they lied. Once it was finally delivered, the entire order arrived cold, not even the slightest bit warm. It was also burned, the bottom was charred to the point my kids wouldn't touch it. A complete waste of time and money and still had to order food from a different establishment that was actually edible. I attempted multiple times to reach an employee at the Englewood store and the phone just rang and rang. ZERO answer. I called the Donatos 1-800 number and the gentleman on the line tried calling the store for me multiple times. ZERO answer for him as well. Next, I submitted an online complaint from their website, after a week ZERO response from it. Then, I tried to reach out to Donatos social media messenger and I received a generic response " the store manager will be in contact 24-48hrs". It's been over a week and again ZERO response. Livid is an understatement. I'm so infuriated over this company and its disgusting lack of customer service or caring to make their screw up right. Never again. Not a single red cent will I spend at this company. I would put a negative star if that was an option, very hungry just had pizza a week prior, so I was craving the Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza ate 4 pieces went for seconds & low & behold there was hair all up & through my pizza, had delivered went up to store, management ignored me, worker told her to help she said it was another person's responsibility to help, then eased her way over once the other employee started to help, by this time I was heated & didn't wanna hear nothing but here's your money.... Long story short I received a Disorderly Conduct and had to go to court NO FOOD, NO MONEY, COURT COST $146., if you want pizza don't use them, they use Door Dash drivers & it's Franchised you'll be waiting forever for your refund....... The service at this location has gone way downhill. I put in an online order tonight at 5:50 and received email confirmation that it would arrive at 6:50. I called them at 7:00 when my order hadn't yet arrived and was told it was the next order going out for delivery. At 7:25 I called them again and was told that my order was still the next order going out for delivery and should be at my house in 15-20 minutes. When I asked if they were going to do anything to compensate me for the delay she said that all delivery orders were taking 2 hours and she has no control over what the website says and then hung up on me. When you are going to be an hour late some kind of apology is in order and none was given. I am really disappointed and do not plan to order from them again. read more

Was told 75 minutes for delivery, took 100 minutes. Told allergic to pork, Received only one correct item, 2 incorrect and one was loaded with pork. Called to complain and was told to be there before 11 PM for a Refund. When I got there, was told no cash available. I paid the driver cash, where is it? Come back at 7 AM. You told my wife to be here before 11 PM. I work, I can't be here at 7 AM. I demanded a refund and the manager threatened me. I called the police. Police came and because the manager had an employee there, I received no refund but instead a "Notice of Criminal Trespass" citation, because I demanded a refund. IF I show up for the refund, I get arrested unless an officer is present. I can't think of a worse place to do business with. NO DINNER AND NO REFUND. read more

I ordered a large pizza last week at the Englewood, OH location, 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 green pepper and was overcharged by almost $1.00. I complained to the cashier but got no satisfaction. Normally, a large half-and- half pizza runs about $14.39. She charged me about $15.35. I think she charged me full price for both ingredients (not half). My wife and I were in the mood for pizza before going to a movie. We stopped here to satisfy our craving as we both love Donatos! I should have caught the signs as we waited to be greeted by the man at the cash register who went from back to front multiple times, and even counted the cash in the till before asking why we were there. Even the many others who were working that night ignored us. I had my suspicion - but we wanted Donatos. We ordered our pizza to eat in the dining room and sat down to wait. As we waited we listened to angry customers who had been waiting for up to an hour. After 40 minutes of waiting my wife decided to ask how much longer. After waiting another 7 minutes before being addressed she was told that the printer broke and our order never made it to the back. We and one other party were the only ones in the dining room -- they could have let us know. We decided to leave as our movie time was approaching. the last two times i have been here i have had an awful experience, the first time i came to pick my pizza up at the window and they told me to pull forward to wait and that it was just coming out of the oven, after 40 mins and watching 6 people walk inside.. i decided to go in, everyone inside was also waiting for their pizza. another 15 mins went past before i got my pizza. this time we waited at the drive thru window for 30 minutes before getting told to pull forward... let's see how long this takes. both times i arrived 5 minutes after the pick up time. i'm never coming back. read more

Came here after a long day. We decided to dine in. We got a salad and pizza and two drinks. We thought the pricing was little high. We got our pizza with pepperoni, roasted garlic, and and extra cheese. It was so delicious. All of the employees were really good. The dining area was clean. I love Donatos pizza, but don't go to the Englewood ohio location unless you want low quality food and you enjoy not getting what you ordered. I have given this locations lots of chances and every time it fails. At first they always failed to bring the sauces that come with the items or that you pay extra for. And they only thing they will do is go back and get it, by which time you have already finished eating. Next we move to not coming on time. I put an order in 6 hours ahead of time. After 30 minutes late I called them. Their reply was we got really busy. Doesn't make any difference when my order was in and paid for 6 hours ahead. It was a total of an hour late. Plus missing sauces again. The only thing they did was give me a credit which you can't use if you order your pizza online like I do. You had to call the order in to be able to use the credit. By the way I have called about my orders many times. And the last time I did. The Mgr in charge didn't think not bring my sauces was a big deal. Mgr seems to think my money is not big deal. If the money is not a big deal why will they not refund my money. They never refund your money! They continue to steal from people. So that brings us to tonight order which will be the last order until there is a new owner and mgt team that cares. Today they actually brought all the sauces. But the one garlic butter was open and spilled all over my food. I ordered bread sticks light baked, they were burnt. The chicken wings were not cook right. First time I had a problem with the wings. And the pizza... so much grease the crust was soaked. It was even soaking through the bottom of the box. Never had a pizza come like that before. I wasted over $32 on food and threw 85% of it in the trash and had to fix dinner myself. Did waste my time calling this time. We tried to order one of the new pizzas they advertise on TV. The clerk said they did not have it. My son ordered a deluxe instead. It was awful. They don;t chop any of the toppings and this deluxe had very little toppings on it and the price was high. We seldom order Pizza from there since the area offers so many different pizza places. I guess this will be the last time I order pizza from there. It is awful. I usually order subs but the last 2 I got were missing ingredients and looked like a 3-year-old made them. This was my 2nd Donatos Pizza, and the 1st at this Englewood location. I had been thinking of it for a few days. I phoned in the order, and was expecting the crisp, hot, thin crust pizza I had the week before at the Kettering location. What I got was a soggy, limp, cool, bready, hand-tossed pizza. It is very disappointing when your order is wrong, and worse when the taste you expected is not up-to-par. I have no choice but to eat it because I paid for it. A Dominos pizza would have been better if I wanted bread! I rarely eat pizza and consider it a treat, and figured I could have it more frequently with the thin crust.
