Ok so im from Ohio but currently live in AZ, I had never eaten Donatos pizza until a few months ago so im a bit behind getting this review in. But I was not disappointed, its definitely a classic ohio style pizza good flavor and crispy crust not at all soggy. It was very clean inside and the staff was great and super friendly. my pizza was over done (burnt) I picked my pizza at 8:54 pm . Got home at 9:20 and realized my food was overdone , I tried to call the store at 9:29 PM NO ANSWER!! our pizza came out of oven as we arrived, however, perhaps oven not working. our pizza crust was raw, onions stringy as raw, pepperoni and sausage was cold. TERRIBLE NO REASON TO EAT. read more

Haven't lived in Ohio for about 15 years, so it's been a long time since I've had Donato's. It's good pizza, and the pepperoni they use is some of the best. My favorite is the Founders Favorite, although they have lots of specialty pizza options. Also had some breadsticks, which were pretty good. read more

I was told that it would be an hour and a half wait for a carry out order. I usually don't put reviews down like this, but when it's happened a few times I felt that I needed to post this review. I hung up the phone and called another pizza restaurant literally across the street they had my order ready in about 25 minutes. I was told it was a staffing problem. We've had the worst luck with this specific donatos. First, doordash is used for delivery. On several occasions, we've received the wrong order. When I've called, I've been told we will be reimbursed but we never have been. The latest incident involved our order not being delivered by Doordash. I received an email that my order as cancelled. I called Donatos, and according to the manager, my order was completed and someone from Doordash came to pick it up. It never came. Rather than the management at Donatos accommodating their customer, I was told I had to call Doordash for a refund. More conversation was had, and no accommodation or accountability was given on behalf of Donatos. We called Doordash to receive a refund, and Doordash told us it's up to Donatos to refund us! Long story short, we had to contact the Donatos Corporate Office to receive any refund at all. So disappointing in regards to customer service. read more

Let's just say I'm glad I resisted my Pizza Hut craving the other night. Crust is thin and crispy throughout, loaded with pepperoni (which was also crispy). If I were to order again, I might go with extra sauce, as it was thinly spread on my pie. Do yourself a favor and keep it simple here, the pepperoni is so good that you'll regret ordering the toppings which, essentially, just leave you with less pepperoni. Pizza taste is very much like frozen pizza. Jets is better if chain pizza is what your looking for. Only good thing was it was nice to sit down inside and it was clean inside. Don't waste your money or time coming here. Ordered salads and gave us wrong dressing. Then pizza came out and was made wrong. Fountain drinks are flat. While there a lady brought her pizza back from a delivery and it was burnt. read more

I am highly satisfied because Donatos in Springboro is my favorite pizza company! It is much more reliable than any other pizza company in the area, has the easiest to use app, normally has rewards & discounts available & the quality/taste is far superior! The staff is very friendly & most employees know me by name because I return almost every week! I have always been a fan of donatos growing up in the Dayton area but when I moved to Springboro, I was thrilled that I found the best Donatos location I have ever been to! I used to live in Springboro and Donatos Pizza was one of my "go-to" options for food delivery. I travel back to the area for business about 4X a year and I have always looked forward to getting a Donatos fix while I'm in town - however, the last few times I've been in town and have ordered pizza from this Donatos location, they have screwed up the order. It's been anywhere from cancelling the order because they didn't have a driver to TWICE in the same night delivering the WRONG pizza to me. And, nowhere in ANY of these instances, has the manager of the store offered to "comp" me a pizza or waive the charge. I was in town just two weeks ago and I ordered a pizza online for a 9:30 pm delivery later that evening - at 9:20 pm, I got a call that they had to cancel my order because they didn't have a driver and that what I had already paid online would be refunded. 10 days later and I still haven't received the refund - just got off the phone with the manager, who now says he has issued the refund. Really, get it together people!! If you're looking for pizza in the south Dayton area, stay away from this place - they are a hot mess!! read more

I'm not from this area I was here for the day doing business. My entire family has worked at Donatos at some point from teenagers thru early adult hood. I'm used to excellent food and service. Not only was the food luke warm and almost not done, there was pizza toppings under my pizza in the bottom of the box almost like it was thrown in there. I called and spoke to the manager and told her I didn't even want free food just wanted her to know I expected better. I called for a delivery, a relatively plain order, only a large pepperoni pizza. I waited an hour and a half after I ordered when they said 45 minutes, and they said they were still on their way. At 2 hours I call back and they said it was delivered yet it wasn't, then they find out it wasn't really delivered. They said they would make a new one and send it. Pizza is great. They no longer take online coupons. If you order online and use an online coupon code they will not accept it. You must have a paper copy. I ordered for delivery. They did not give the benefit of the doubt would not accept the cash I had (not enough). It says nowhere on the website that you must have the paper coupon.
