    Veal Limone

I came here mid-December when I happened to be in the area. The place is fairly small, though there is an upstairs (where the bathroom is also located). I was sat downstairs right by the curtain in front of the door. I got the Veal Limone, which was fairly tasty, but thin, and for $50 I expected it to be more substantial and for there to be at least a few more potato wedges (though there was a lot of spinach) and maybe a bit nicer presentation. Washed it down with a small glass bottle of Sprite. Service was fine.

The food, service and conversation were great. Traditional Italian food ~ delicious. Really good food, made with real ingredients & large portions. A must when you're in the city . Great people watching on the streets too.

10/10! I premade reservations for this past Friday night for 5:30, and was running late, they were very accommodating on adjusting my reservation time to 6:00pm, thank you again! Upon arrival they had our seats for 2 ready. Very clean space with delicious olive oil and bread. My guest and I ate calamari, meatballs, and the branzino. We had a red sangria, espresso martini , and a margarita all delicious. And a small dessert cake to finish off. Service was excellent and we got to meet the owner as well! Thank you for the excellent service!

10/10 hidden gem in the upper east side! Authentic Neapolitan food, with hands down the best pizza I've tried in New York City! We ordered the Cosacca pizza, and I have never had pizza this good, felt like I was in Italy!!!

This restaurant is the best Italian on the upper east side. The flavors curated by Salvatore, Wilson and Enzo are truly spectacular. I come here often with my family and the meatballs, the eggplant parm, rigatoni nonna, every single pizza, the capellini dolce dessert, are the best I have in the city. It's a perfectly warm and special Italian meal a must visit in nyc. Service was stellar and ambiance is special.

We enjoyed our meal. The pizza was delicious, the pasta amazing and my friend loved his chicken. The panna cotta was ok, I would recommend trying a different dessert. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.

Best eggplant Parmesan ever!! my wife, and I stopped here for lunch. She had spaghetti and meatballs, and I had eggplant Parmesan. The spaghetti sauce was light but creamy and the meatballs were big and flavorful. The eggplant was layered with cheese and baked to perfection; not served with any pasta. if you're an eggplant lover, this is the way to go. everything paired well with the complementary bread and olive oil for dipping. This will be my new go to place for Italian in New York City.

Food was alright, my partner and I shared the zucchini flowers and they were heavily battered and fried. Didn't like how doughy it was. My entree was a clam linguini pasta that felt like something I can whip up at home in 30 mins with boxed pasta. My partner had the penne arrabbiata and thought it wasn't anything spectacular for the price you pay. We were seated inside, upstairs, and didn't feel so comfortable as we were close to the restroom and waiters seem to be changing for dinner service while we were there. Perhaps their pizza is ok but I don't think I'd come back to try.

This restaurant is a hidden gem on the UES! Made a reservation for 6:15 pm on a Saturday and they were accommodating for same day and so friendly! The whole staff was honestly great. The restaurant is cute and so so cozy which I love on a December night. We ordered the beet salad, Margherita pizza and the gnocchi Sorrentino. Everything was excellent. I've been dreaming of the gnocchi since. Will absolutely be back! I can't wait to try more

My friends and I came on a Tuesday night to unwind after work. It's a pretty small restaurant but with the outdoor seating available, it wasn't too crowded. It had a comfortable atmosphere, perfect for friends to catch up over some food and wine. The waiters never rushed us out even though we were one of their last customers, which I appreciated. They also made sure to check with us if we liked the food or wanted more to eat/drink. We ordered the tartufata, spaghetti carbonara, beet salad, linguine alle vongole, and tiramisu. The tartufata was more salty than I thought it would be even though I already expected it from the prosciutto. It still tasted good, but I just wish it was less salty so I could enjoy it more. The spaghetti was also pretty salty but still delicious. I was never a fan of tiramisu but my friends seemed to enjoy it.

The best Neapolitan food in NYC, hands down. The staff is amazing, and the ambiance makes you feel like you're in Italy.

We dined inside and it's normal UES spacing, close but not tight. The food and services made up for anything else thou.

We shared Betsy's Mom's Clam Dip, Mushroom Toast, Bitter Greens Salad, Minted Lamb Meatballs, and duck pâté. The meal opened with the clam dip; cool, lush, and briny, with a creamy oceanic richness that coated the palate; followed by a tangy, salty depth that clung to each crunchy bite of bread. The Mushroom Toast followed with deeper savoriness: earthy, almost forest-floor mushrooms, warm and tender, turning silky as they soaked into the bread, while the edges stayed crisp and toasted, adding contrast to the woodsy umami and subtle garlic warmth. The Bitter Greens Salad provided a bright, palate-cleansing break that included crisp and peppery greens with a sharp lemony dressing that snapped on the tongue, layered with faint fennel sweetness and the nutty, salty bite of shaved parmesan. The Minted Lamb Meatballs arrived richer and more comforting, tender and juicy with a gentle gamey depth, lifted by fresh mint that cut through the richness, and a cool, tangy tomato-yogurt sauce that added creaminess and brightness in equal measure. We finished with pâté--silky, dense, and deeply savory, with a faint iron-rich intensity and buttery smoothness, especially when spread on bread with sharp, briny pickles that added crunch and acidity. Each dish felt intentional and well-balanced for sharing, with varied textures and temperatures that built naturally across the table. I'd happily return to explore more of the menu.

The menu is fairly on the basic side - mainly drinks and pastries and there is some sandwiches. We decided to get the hot chocolate with whip cream (the whip cream is very needed). It was very rich, thick and delicious and not "too sweet." The whip cream really makes it more creamy and it does not really add to the sweetness which was good. We also got a side of Salame e Formaggio which I would recommend passing on because the cheese was kind of hard and not that great. The salami was good and honestly I'm not a fan of olives but my friend who liked it enjoyed them. Overall - a cute place to stop by for a hot chocolate and maybe a pastry!

We got a torta caprese (flourless chocolate cake), a sfogliatella, a hot chocolate, and a machiatto. The torta caprese was okay. The sfogliatella, which is supposed to be light and crisp, was clearly stale and chewy, although they warmed it up which was a helpful touch. The hot chocolate was reviewed on Instagram as being super rich and decadent, but it was made from a mix that smelled oddly similar to Swiss Miss. the machiatto was also quite watery. Come here for the vibes, but not for the food.

Though they didn't serve the sprite-infused red wines I enjoyed in Spain, they did serve white sangrias, which were light, sweet, and very enjoyable. The toasted bread with tomatoes was bright and summery. The grilled asparagus was cooked wonderfully al dente, with a char that added a nice smoky flavor against the clean taste of the drizzled olive oil. The beef skewers were well seasoned and fatty. While the food was Spanish, the prices certainly were not! It was a tad pricey. There wasn't anything below $13 for their small bites. Regardless of the hot weather, I decided on a table outside. Each bite of the tapas was delightful for what it was and I ended up ordering an extra tapa because I couldn't make up my mind. I chose the shrimp in garlic sauce (oil) that I sopped up with the accompanied bread, the dates wrapped in bacon (they do their own twist by filling it with honey ricotta stuffing and finishing it with a red wine reduction), I also went with cod fish croquettes (the perfect crispness on the outside and a delectable creamy texture of fish inside), I can never pass up the patatas bravas, so, I got those too. I had a glass of a beautiful, crisp, white Chardonnay off the menu from Spain. Definitely a must try if you are looking for a quick meal for one.
